Anomaly Archives August 26th, 2012 Meeting Review

On Sunday, August 26th a dozen Anomalists met at the INACS-HQ within the main room which houses the over three thousand books that make up the Anomaly Archives lending library. We had several good discussions on a wide variety of topics:

  • INACS Honored with Warcollier Prize
  • About the Anomaly Archives and SAI’s Mission
  • Passing of Neil Armstrong, Moon Conspiracies and More
  • Nick Redfern’s “Blue Beam” Article (which doesn’t reference Blue Beam)
  • Big News from Mufon and Steven Greer
  • Mufon Conference video from Open Minds TV
  • Copycat’s, Aurora shooting, Sihk temple and Greer
  • Rupert Sheldrake video
  • MK-Ultra, Terrible Mistake, UFOs (Kelly Hopkinsville, Hickson & Parker and PSI in Austin)
  • George Romney film clip mentioning his brainwashing upon return to the United States
  • Church hearings on CIA manipulation of media
  • Micro UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) & RPVs (Remotely Piloted Vehicles)
  • William Henry revelation Randy Powell Undiscovered Country
  • Iron Sky intro – campy Nazi-Saucers conspiracy movie
  • John Keel on Letterman circa 1982

INACS Honored with Warcollier Prize

First, Anomaly Archives President Miles Lewis introduced INACS Founder and Anomaly Archives board member Jim King. INACS recently received the Annual Warcollier Prize at this year’s conference of the IRVA (International Remote Viewing Association):

The International Remote Viewing Association, in collaboration with IRIS-Psi & Applications (IRIS-PA), is pleased to announce the competition for an international research award in order to encourage original research on all aspects of remote viewing, and to uphold distinguished examples of fresh research with a view to engaging intellectual attention on the future role of remote viewing. The Warcollier Prize is a financial prize jointly created by the IRVA and IRIS-PA, to be presented to the winner of a judged competition for the best research proposal investigating some aspect of remote viewing.

The Warcollier Prize has been endowed in honor of René Warcollier, the French chemical engineer and parapsychologist (April 1881 – May 1962). Warcollier devised and conducted a series of experiments in telepathic communication. The participants sought to transmit drawings, at varying distances and using only the power of the mind, to subjects who would record their impressions on paper.

For more information on participating in this research project or to find out about INACS’s Remote Viewing Special Interest Group please contact project coordinator Jim King.

About the Anomaly Archives and SAI’s Mission

Miles briefly described the history of the 501c3 Scientific Anomaly Institute and its Anomaly Archives lending library. He founded the Anomaly Archives in 2003 with the help of fellow INACS board members and meeting attendees Jim King and Don Switlick. We also briefly reviewed the purpose of SAI and the Archives:

The Anomaly Archives is the lending library of the Scientific Anomaly Institute, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks:

  • Preservation and dissemination of scientific research into anomalous phenomena
  • Research and analysis of accumulated collections
  • Education of the public regarding scientific investigations into these phenomena

Purposes of the Institute:

  • Managing and developing an archive and library for documents and literature with regards to a multi-disciplinary approach to anomalous phenomena,
  • Supporting, promoting and pursuing research to obtain increased knowledge about anomalous phenomena, and
  • Pursuing and stimulating a critical, scientific discussion of anomalous phenomena, and providing a forum for information, support, and sharing among researchers while,
  • Functioning as the archives and library for like-minded organizations, and other groups in the community that have similar interests.
Passing of Neil Armstrong, Moon Conspiracies and More
With recent news of Neil Armstrong’s passing meeting attendees discussed the wide variety of moon and space conspiracy theories ranging from the “we never went to the moon” meme, Stanley Kubrick staging the moon landing, and popular ideas about secret space programs.

Nick Redfern’s “Blue Beam” Article (which doesn’t reference Blue Beam)

One of Nick Redfern’s many recent articles (linked to in this month’s newsletter) that we discussed at the meeting is titled “Faking the Second Coming.” Here Nick is writing about the oft-cited plan by American military intelligence spooks to use various technologies and techniques to fake a “Second Coming of Jesus Christ” calling for the overthrow of Fidel Castro. This and other similar use of folk beliefs to manipulate populations for parapolitical ends are believed by some to bear a direct relevance to UFOs and related phenomena. Another similar alleged military-intel plan often referenced within the conspiracy community is “Project Blue Beam.” We reviewed the history of the blue beam story and other recent news stories which seem vaguely related. We discussed the long history of conspiracy theories touting the probability of the creation of a War of the Worlds scenario utilizing a fake alien threat to unite humanity against a common foe, including Carol Rosin claim to have heard of just such a plan from none other than Wernher Von Braun.

Big News from Mufon and Steven Greer…
Mufon Acquires Leonard Stringfield Collection.
Mufon Conference video from Open Minds TV

At the July meeting we had briefly mentioned the rumors of “Big News” supposedly on the horizon from both Mufon and Steven Greer’s Disclosure Project. As it turns out, Mufon’s big news was announced at their annual symposium: they have secured the research collection of Dr. Leonard Stringfield. We watched a video from the Open Minds TV channel which covered the 2012 Mufon Symposium.

Open Minds TV Coverage of 2012 MUFON Symposium.

Dr. Steven Greer’s big news involves claims of a possible alien specimen for which his Disclosure Project is seeking donations to study, including DNA testing. Greer’s efforts to produce his latest documentary SIRIUS may or may not be setback due to the strange coincidence of the producer’s father being one of the victims at the recent Sikh Temple shooting in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.  www.Sirius.NeverendingLight.com

  • “SIRIUS” THE MOVIE POISED TO MAKE CROWD FUNDING HISTORY!

  • BREAKING NEWS: URGENT – Sirius Filmmaker Arm Kaleka’s Father Killed at Sikh Temple
    http://drgreersblog.disclosureproject.org/?p=198
There is a chance that we may be able to include in the film “Sirius” the scientific testing of a possible Extraterrestrial Biological Entity (EBE) that has been recovered and is deceased. This EBE is in the possession of a cooperative institute desiring further scientific evaluation of the possible ET. We cannot reveal at this time the location of this being or the name of the person or persons who possess it.

Father of Director of New Greer Disclosure Documentary Slain in Sikh Temple Shooting.

Copycat’s, Aurora shooting, Sihk temple and Greer

Mention of the Sikh Temple shooting restarted discussions we had at the July meeting regarding the Copycat Effect and murder/suicide, rampage shooting events. The many apparent and alleged anomalies surrounding the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting continue to lead many of our attendees to suspect that the event was staged and/or that James Holmes was mind-controlled. Below is a short video of Holmes presentingan overview of his research area of focus: Temporal Illusions.

A science presentation in 2006 by neuro-science student and Aurora shooting suspect James Holmes.

Rupert Sheldrake video

We watched a brief video of “maverick biologist” Rupert Sheldrake outlining the “Ten Dogmas Holding Science Back” from his new book soon-to-be-released book Science Set Free (already available in the UK as The Science Delusion):

1.    That nature is mechanical.
2.    That matter is unconscious.
3.    The laws of nature are fixed.
4.    The totally amount of matter and energy are always the same.
5.    That nature is purposeless.
6.    Biological inheritance is material.
7.    That memories are stored as material traces.
8.    The mind is in the brain.
9.    Telepathy and other psychic phenomena are illusory.
10.    Mechanistic medicine is the only kind that really works.

Sheldrake Against the Ten Dogmas of Bad Science.

Recall that Rupert Sheldrake was attacked by someone believing themselves to be a mind-control victim:

Frequent, vitriolic attacks are not directed just at Sheldrake’s work either; in 2008, he was stabbed in the leg by a Japanese madman who had followed him to the USA, believing that Sheldrake was using mind-control techniques on him (FT236:5).

MK-Ultra, Terrible Mistake, UFOs (Kelly Hopkinsville, Hickson & Parker and PSI in Austin)

Several times during the meeting the subject of the CIA’s MK-Ultra mind control experiments on unwitting victims was raised. Miles described several of the many extraordinary pieces of information uncovered in the voluminous mk-ultra expose by Hank Albarelli Jr. titled A TERRIBLE MISTAKE: The Murder of Frank Olson and the CIA’s Secret Cold War Experiments. MKultra project leader Sidney Gottlieb had the famous stage magician John Mulholland investigate Andrija Puharich (who brought psychic Uri Geller to the United States) as well as several famous UFO cases including the famous Kelly–Hopkinsville Goblins encounter. Another case mentioned in A TERRIBLE MISTAKE (because of its alleged proximity to another MKultra connected biological research facility) is the 1973 Pascagoula, Mississippi Abduction of Charles Hickson and Calbin Parker.

A TERRIBLE MISTAKE: The Murder of Frank Olson and the CIA’s Secret Cold War Experiments

An account of the deliberate LSD poisoning of the French village of Pont St. Esprit carried out by the CIA during the late Fifties and early Sixties. Complete coverage is in the new book A Terrible Mistake, The Murder of Frank Olson and the CIA’s Secret Cold War Experiments, by H.P. Albarelli, Jr.

Below are some links to past news articles by or about Hank Albarelli’s book, including Miles’ interviews of him, plus a link to his new book on the JFK assassination.

“Psychic-Sensitive Ufo-Researcher Contactee-Artist Ray Stanford.”

Mention of Andrija Puharich, Uri Geller and Charles Hickson prompted one of our meeting attendees, who lived through much of the early UFO contactee period in American Ufological history, to tell of several different incidents involving Austin’s past scientific UFO researcher Ray Stanford.

For those not familiar with psychic UFO-hunter (now fossil-finder) Ray Stanford and his previous Austin based UFO research group PSI (Project Starlight International), you should read these links:

Several Air Force Project Blue Book files document sightings throughout the State, including one in Austin at Mansfield Dam on June 24th, 1967 (the twentieth anniversary of the Kenneth Arnold sighting and the birth of the “Modern UFO Era”). The witness was none other than psychic-sensitive ufo-researcher contactee-artist Ray Stanford.

Ray Stanford pioneered one of the world’s most interesting and instrumented approaches to civilian UFO research ever with his historic Project Starlight International. Armed with radar, cameras, magnetometers, lasers, computers and other equipment, Ray and company documented several interesting sightings just outside of Austin. In one incident an orange ball of light appeared while they had a very special terrestrial visitor on the property; Charles Hickson of the Hickson/Parker Pascagoula Mississippi Abduction. Ray Stanford has since disbanded this research lab and now uses his psychic intuition to find a wealth of rare dinosaur fossils up in the North East United States.

Many more topics were discussed at the August meeting but we’ve got to wrap-up this writeup for now.

Here are some more links to a few of the other videos we watched and the topics we talked about:

Cryptopalooza has been a long time in the making, but it’s finally a reality. Over the years friends Michael Esordi, founder of Believe It Tour, and Craig Woolheater, founder of Cryptomundo, have tossed around ideas about the conference experience and how to make it even better for people. Out of those discussions the idea began to form of starting something new and unique. Michael hit on the name Cryptopalooza and things started to pick up steam when the city of Jefferson, Texas contacted Craig about doing an event in their city.

DIRECTIONS to The Anomaly Archives

It’s a little tricky to find the first time, so here are the directions:

If you’re heading northwest on Research/183 from I-35, Mopac or 360, exit 183 at the Oak Knoll exit, pass through the light at Oak Knoll, and stay on the access road heading north. The next side street off the 183 access road will be Technology Blvd; do not turn on Technology. Immediately after you pass Technology, there will be a driveway on your right (the only one in that area) — Exit into that driveway. There will be a sign overhead for “Forest Plaza.” After you pull in, you’ll have no choice but to go to the left into Forest Plaza. Our building is the back left building within the complex — Suite 302. If you’re heading south on Research/183, you also exit at Oak Knoll, but take the u-turn just before you get to Oak Knoll, get over the right on the northbound access road, and prepare to make the right immediately after Technology Blvd. as in the directions above.

July Meeting Report

Saturday, July 28th a few of us met for the monthly Anomaly Archives meeting. We had a good time discussing a wide range of weird Central Texas news stories as well as watching some new UFO sighting videos, and brief videos covering the physics of information, UFO Contact and more.

We reminded our attendees that our Anomaly Archives Meetup.com account will be going away August 1st. We are sad to close this aspect of our social media presence but have had to do so due to budget issues. Folks interested in staying in the loop on all things related to the Anomaly Archives can subscribe to this newsletter in several ways:

The first news story we watched and discussed was “Experts explain Chupacabra sighting in Cedar Park” about a photographer who captured pics of what authorities assure us are coyotes with mange. We talked about the research discussed by past Anomaly Archive event lecturer Jonathon Downes who came from England to work with Richie and Naomi West researching the wide range of “Texas Blue Dog” sightings around the state – some of which have yielded DNA results which challenge mainstream assumptions that these are simply mange-riddled canines and coyotes.

Then Miles Lewis spoke briefly about his visit to Newport, Rhode Island for day-job related conference. While there he visited Touro Park in the center of town where “the old stone mill” (also known as the Newport Mystery Tower) is located. He had the pleasant experience of meeting Jim Egan who runs the Newport Tower Museum across the street from the park and who has a rather different theory for the origin of the tower. Some people believe it was built by Vikings, others believe it was built by Templars or early Portuguese explorers. Jim Egan believes it owes its origins to John Dee, consultant to Queen Elizabeth I. We watched the shortest introduction to Mr. Egan’s hypothesis which is a six minute video found at his website: Newport Tower Museum.

Attendees then watched a short news report from local KEYE-TV about a herd of cattle at an Elgin ranch just outside Austin which mysteriously died apparently from eating hybrid grass which had begun producing cyanide: “Cattle Deaths Still Baffle Scientists.”

We then briefly discussed the rise in alternative news coverage of the mysterious Men-In-Black phenomenon, obviously in anticipation of the recently released third installment of the MIB movie franchise. We watched a brief classic episode of Unsolved Mysteries which featured Austin’s own MIB-experiencer Ray Muniz.

Miles asked attendees if they knew about UFO researcher Jacques Vallee’s recent presentation to the Ted-X Talks in Brussels: A Theory of Everything (Else). This lecture was not about UFOs per se but rather about Vallee’s desire to work towards a “physics of information” that might explain the many synchronistic aspects of UFO encounters and related paranormal phenomena. A couple of specific events Vallee mentioned in his brief lecture were expounded upon by Miles and the other meeting attendees. These specific events led Miles into a discussion of the recent Aurora, Colorado mass-shooting.

Miles gave some background on his experience regarding mass-shootings; he is a survivor of the 1979 Fiesta – Battle of the Flowers parade shooting which occurred in San Antonio when he was eight years old. He briefly described his memory of the event and his belief that it was his mother’s intuition that kept them from becoming the two fatalities which occurred that day. Miles discussed cryptozoologist Loren Coleman’s other areas of expertise the “Copycat Effect” (aka “Werther Effect”) and Mr. Coleman’s recent writings about the Aurora shootings which he has described as a significant shift and “Red Dawn” event. Miles told attendees about the bizarre coincidence surrounding the first identified victim of the Aurora shooting, Jessica Redfield, who had just survived another mass-shooting the month previous and the even stranger circumstance of her witnessing a bizarre person dressed as Batman at that previous shooting.

We also briefly discussed the continual blurring of the line between fact and fiction by UFO researchers from George Filer’s cooperation with the Majestic ARG (Alternate Reality Game) back in 2001 to the more recent incidents of Stanton Friedman shilling for the “Blair-Witch-Project on the Moon” horror film Apollo-18, Richard Dolan’s recent calling-out of Nick Pope on his spreading misinformation about possible alien invasion during the Olympics on behalf of some game designer as well as Robbie Graham of SilverScreenSaucers blog speculating that former CIA man Chase Brandon’s “Roswell Revelations” likely having more to do with promoting his fictional works rather than real UFO truths. You can read a review of Chase Brandon’s fiction by Shepherd Johnson at the SilverScreenSaucers blog. [More from Matthew Alford.]

We concluded the meeting by watching one of the DVD extras from David Cherniak’s 2011 EBE Award Winning documentary, in the Best Feature Film category, UFOs – The Secret History. This particular DVD extra was 45 minutes long and leads into a 2 hour and 25 minutes DVD extra that is likely equally valuable to discerning historians interested in UFO lore.

Well, until next time, we hope you’ll explore the links below for even more anomalous news…

The Batman Sighting in Toronto –

It’s all so very strange, like something out of the Twilight Zone. Jessica Redfield Gawhi experiences a “feeling” and leaves the food court at the Eaton Center right before the shootings. Then, afterwards, tweets about a man wearing a Batman costume (see screen capture below). Then a month later she is killed in a movie theater while watching a Batman movie … @JessicaRedfield, June 2: “A man dressed as BATMAN is charging tourists to take pictures outside the Eaton Center yelling “MY PARENTS ARE DEAD!” Very tacky & heartless.”

He got up and checked the news and discovered the Midnight Movie Massacre had occurred.

  • Synchromystic Threads…“It is always darkest just before the day dawneth.” – English theologian and historian Thomas Fuller (1608 – 1661)
Harvey Dent: “The night is darkest just before the dawn. And I promise you, the dawn is coming.”
~ The Dark Knight (2008) (Video referral: RPJ/Miguel)

The name Aurora means “dawn.” The Roman goddess of the dawn was named Aurora, and her siblings are Sol (Sun) and Luna (Moon). These names in Latin and Greek are Aurora/Eos, Sol/Helios, Luna/Selene.

Anne Hathaway/Catwoman’s public persona character in The Dark Knight Rises is named Selene Kyle (Selene = Moon, Kyle = Strait of Water/River).

Aurora is an extremely popular name in Norway, being the 16th most used in 2006.

Aurora is a suburb less than 10 miles east of downtown Denver. Aurora originated in the 1880s as the town of Fletcher, taking its name from Denver businessman Donald Fletcher, who saw it as a real estate opportunity. He and his partners staked out four square miles east of Denver, but the town – and Colorado – struggled mightily after the Silver Crash of 1893. At that point Fletcher skipped town, leaving the community with a huge water debt. Inhabitants decided to rename the town Aurora in 1907, after one of the subdivisions composing the town.
Coloradois of Spanish origin, meaning “colored red” and “ruddy.”
The memories of Columbine (20 miles away from Aurora) are being recalled by the Colorado and other media….  The suspect’s name translates as James = “he who supplants,” Eagan = “fiery,” and Holmes = “holly” and/or “island in the river.” +++ Personal Note Why am I up this early, as Willie Geist often asks, specifically reporting on this event? Well, I was startled from my sleep, at 4:27 am Eastern, on this morning of July 20th, by what sounded like someone calling my name; I literally thought there was a person in my bedroom. Then I checked the news and heard about the Aurora shooting. I have never had such a startling awakening. Yes, I am open to Forteana, but I do not consider myself involved in psychic phenomena, per se, so this was an unusual personal incident for me.

This month’s meeting will be one week early, on Saturday, April 21st with a viewing of the second live online Alternate Universe i-Conference:

Anomaly Archives monthly meeting report for March 24th 2012

At last month’s (March) Anomaly Archives meeting we had some great discussions on a wide range of topics, from talk of ufo whistleblowers to channeling to what books we’ve been reading. We also watched some interesting videos. More on the videos (with links) at the end of this brief meeting report for now here is more about the conversations we had.

At the beginning of the meeting we continued a discussion we’ve been having about the merits of people like UFO “Whistleblower” Robert O. Dean. For more background on the interesting story of Bob Dean and the alleged 1964 SHAPE Ufo Assessment document check out these links. This first one from an interview in mid-1996:

Here is a brief assessment of Bob Dean (and others claiming insider information) from long-time down-to-earth UFO investigator and Roswell crash believer Kevin Randle:

And here is SHAPE Historian Greg Pedlow’s analysis of Dean and the alleged UFO assessment document claims:

Meeting attendees talked about Dolores Cannon and Channeling in general, though Dolores clarifies that her messages come through the use of hypnosis. One person mentioned that they are currently reading one her books. Here are some introductory videos about Dolores:

Preview of Interview with Dolores Cannon

Dolores Cannon – Three Waves of Volunteer Souls & Ascension (Starseeds, Indigos, Crystals, etc.)

We also discussed the Trickster element within various UFO and paranormal encounters as well as deceased persons appearing in alien abductions / CE3Ks / NDEs, etc.

Of course David Icke’s ideas about reptilian’s was raised and we talked about precedents in shamanism and resonant speculative hypothesis suggested by alien abduction researcher Karla Turner in this 1994 interview at the Annual Mufon Conference which was that year held in Austin, Texas. Here are links to that interview:

From The (old) Archives: Karla Turner – Anomalous Abductee Experiences

Mike DeGroff reminded the attendees about an intriguing plan proposed by NUFORC’s (National UFO Reporting Center) Peter Davenport. It is his passive radar plan, first proposed back in 2004.

From the “Coast to Coast AM” Newsletter COASTZONE Weekend Edition for March 19, 2012:

UFO Detection: In the latter half, Director of the National UFO Reporting Center, Peter Davenport, discussed his revolutionary proposal ( PDF file) for detecting UFOs in near-Earth environment, out to a distance of around 250,000 miles. The plan calls for using a passive radar system in which signals could be analyzed to determine a target’s size, location, and other details. For example, such a system would be particularly useful in identifying craft that are in our atmosphere, doing 20,000 mph, and making sudden right turns, he said. This detection data could be shared with scientists for analysis, and eliminate the need for government disclosure, which doesn’t appear to be forthcoming, he commented. Davenport said he is seeking funding for this project– around $750,0000 is needed to set up a prototype of the passive radar system operating station (much of that cost would go toward developing the software for analyzing the intercepted signals). Ultimately, he foresees a kind of webcam system in which all the UFO detection information would be available on one public website in real time. He also talked about his UFO Hotline, which recently has received reports of spherical fireball-type objects

Here is the introduction to the paper presented at the 2004 Annual Mufon Symposium in Denver:

USING MULTISTATIC PASSIVE RADAR FOR REAL-TIME DETECTION OF UFO’S IN THE NEAR-EARTH ENVIRONMENT

Copyright 2004 Peter B. Davenport All rights reserved. Author: Peter B. Davenport Director, National UFO Reporting Center Seattle, Washington

ABSTRACT: The author proposes a system for the remote, real-time detection of UFO’s in the near- Earth environment, using passive, multi-static, frequency-modulated (FM) radar. The system capitalizes on the use of multiple, time-synchronized radio receivers to capture high-frequency radio signals reflected from a target. The time-lapse between received signals, together with three-dimensional Doppler-shift analysis, permits calculation of a target’s location, velocity, acceleration, flight path, and other parameters, possibly to include target size estimation. Signal analysis of the reflected signal, combined with analysis of target characteristics, will permit discrimination between suspected UFO’s, and targets of terrestrial origin, e.g. aircraft, satellites, space debris, meteor trails, upper atmospheric conditions, weather phenomena, migratory birds, the Moon, etc.. One application proposed may allow detection of UFO’s out to a range of at least 27,600 kilometers from the Earth’s surface.

Here is some background on similar ideas noted on the UFO UpDates eList:

Of course, this sort of instrumented approach reminds us of Austin’s own, Ray Stanford and his PSI (Project Starlight International) research efforts:

My Dad, the UFO Hunter http://www.tikaro.com/2008/01/my-dad-the-ufo-hunter.html

UFO-VECTOR SYSTEM: Communicate with UFOs by transmitting signals along a joystick-guided laser. http://www.nicap.org/madar/psi-mpic.htm

RECORDING MAGNETOMETER: Track and record moving ferrous objects (see comments for correction from Ray) magnetic fields overhead. It’s pictured below — check out the tape drive! And the big capacitors!

Other tech articles are on the main PSI tech page here. http://www.nicap.org/madar/psi.htm

From a February, 1976 “Texas Monthly” article:

“The laser [seen in the background] can provide a video readout of the UFO for the PSI people as well as transmit information to the spacecraft. The pan-and-tilt head can be moved up and down and sideways simultaneously by means of the remote-control “joystick,” but it still takes the skill of an anti-aircraft gunner to strike the UFO with the laser beam.”

For much of the middle of the meeting we each briefly talked about what we have been reading? Some of the titles and authors mentioned included Jim Mars’ RULE BY SECRECY, Tom Campbell’s MY BIG T.O.E. as well as the books of Dolores Cannon. Also mentioned were Bob Frissell, Paul Smith’s READING THE ENEMIES MIND (about the military’s Remote Viewing). We also talked about Smith’s documenting of the military’s Dowsing programs. Miles spoke about reading Jenny Randles’ book PARANORMAL PENINES.

The SERPO Saga was raised and a brief talk ensued about the merits or lack thereof regarding the whole sordid affair. Mike DeGroff mentioned it’s having caught his attention because of the inclusion in the story of a sighting that sounded strikingly similar to the famous Lonnie Zamora sighting. Here are some investigations by various groups into the strange story of SERPO:

Among the many other information items discussed at the March meeting were…

The weird story from a couple years ago of Eisenhower’s grand daughter:

Ancient Aliens episode on Rendlesham and the mysterious 1001010111010101001001 message:

  • Ancient Aliens – Rendlesham Binary Code Revealed – edited

An attendee mentioned some striking footage they remember and we’d like to look at. They described it as being from Mexico and of a cloud-cigar type ufo disgorging smaller orbs. If you think you know more about this video or have a link to it online please let us know.

Miles had brought a number of long, medium and short length videos for the group to watch. He mentioned several feature length UFO documentaries that the group might want to watch but ultimately we chose to watch a sampling of shorter length videos including:

Laredo UFO Conference videos…

Open Minds TV’s coverage of the IUFOC including…

  • 2012 UFO Congress Researcher of the Year Lee Speigel
  • 2011 Year-in-Review

FLASBHACK: Nick Pope and MSM on Triangular UFO Videos in Ireland… Miles spoke briefly about his ANOMALY Magazine website and articles being cited on this MSNBC news video and how they got the story completely wrong, confusing two different incidents of bad-jacketing of an alleged ufo sighting with other known footage not related at all to the new sighting. Here is the MSNBC video with Nick Pope – whom Miles communicated with about this case. Here also are the articles alluded to in the video:

  • Nick Pope and MSM on Triangular UFO Videos in Ireland

We also talked briefly about these great documentaries … UFOS: THE SECRET HISTORY, OUT OF THE BLUE, and BEST EVIDENCE: TOP 10 UFO CASES.

Miles mentioned that we have videos featuring SRI/URI GELLER and Ed Mitchell Quantum Hologram and RV.

We watched Disclosure Madness animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q76cxfcNK-M

Miles mentioned one of his favorite weird close encounter cases from the early days of flying saucers. He played an old recording of Close Encounter witness Joe Simonton where he describes the pancakes the occupants gave him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9Ih8jH3J88

We watched a brief local news piece about Austin’s Museum of the Weird: http://austin.ynn.com/content/community/local_wonders/283318/local-wonders—museum-of-the-weird http://www.museumoftheweird.com

Lastly, before wrapping up after a long and interesting meeting, we watched the preview for recent interview of  musician Billy Corgan by Austin’s Alex Jones from during the recent SXSW media festival. Below are links to the sneak peak and the full interview:

Apocalypse RoundUp / Scientology / When Prophecy Fails / Cognitive Dissonance

Festinger’s theory of cognitive dissonance can account for the psychological consequences of disconfirmed expectations. One of the first published cases of dissonance was reported in the book, When Prophecy Fails (Festinger et al. 1956). Festinger and his associates read an interesting item in their local newspaper headlined “Prophecy from planet Clarion call to city: flee that flood.” A housewife from Chicago (changed to “Michigan” in the book), given the name “Marian Keech” (real name: Dorothy Martin, later known as Sister Thedra[1]), had mysteriously been given messages in her house in the form of “automatic writing” from alien beings on the planet Clarion. These messages revealed that the world would end in a great flood before dawn on December 21, 1954. Mrs. Keech had previously been involved with L. Ron Hubbard‘s Dianetics movement, and her cult incorporated ideas from what was to become Scientology.[2] The group of believers, headed by Keech, had taken strong behavioral steps to indicate their degree of commitment to the belief. They had left jobs, college, and spouses, and had given away money and possessions to prepare for their departure on the flying saucer, which was to rescue the group of true believers. – Cognitive Dissonance via the “When Prophecy Fails” Wikipedia Entry.

Using satellite data, Dimitar Ouzounov, a professor of earth sciences at Chapman University in California, and his colleagues found that the concentration of electrons in the ionosphere increased in the days before the earthquake, as did infrared radiation. March 8, three days before the quake, was the most anomalous day. They found similar correlations in a database of 100 other earthquakes with magnitudes larger than 5.5 and depths less than 31 miles.

After-Dark Saucer Culture Film-Fest

“The ufo phenomenon exists in a synergistic cybernetic interface with humanity. Whatever the true nature of UFOs, they interact with us within several different milieus, all of which are influenced by the media and culture. This media and culture in turn feeds back into the phenonomenon in a continuous cycle. If the fantastic fictions of our television and print media can feedback upon and influence our images and ideas of the unknown then we will continue to have a harder and harder time of sorting the wheat from the chaff of non-human intelligences communicating through the ufo encounter.

Therefore it is very important that we look at some of the various ways the subject of UFOs and Aliens have been handled by the film and television industries. Each night’s selection of films delves into these issues areas especially as they relate to that day’s particular event theme.”

Five Million Years To Earth (1967)
aka Quatermass & The Pit

By Nigel Kneale

“Was the Devil really a Martian? Could our predatory nature be the result of a eugenics experiment performed on our ancestors by aliens millions of years ago? These are the questions raised after an ancient spaceship is unearthed in the London Underground, and Professor Quatermass must answer them before the world is torn apart in a Martian race war. Based on the popular BBC sci-fi t.v. series.”

Some of Nigel Kneale Works

Prince of Darkness (1987)

Carpenter’s script assembles elements of his earlier films in a kind of survey; especially Precinct 13’s siege setting and hordes from out of the demimonde, and The Thing’s shapeless, body-claiming alien force. The writing is good, littered with funny lines and highly imaginative contemporary twists on the tale’s origins in the works of Nigel Kneale, to whom Carpenter pays nod-wink homage by billing the screenplay as the work of “Martin Quatermass”.

Copies of FATE Magazine Donated by Craig Woolheater

Our recent lecture event featuring British Fortean Cryptozoologist Jonathan Downes attracted many attendees from across Texas. Among those making the trip from out of town to meet and hear Jon Downes speak was Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy member Craig Woolheater. Besides helping coordinate the non-profit field research and annual public education events for the TBRC, Craig has also recently become the owner and manager of two very popular anomaly oriented websites, Cryptomundo.com and UFOmystic.com

Before Mr. Downes’ lecture on the Texas Blue Dogs and Chupacabras, Craig handed me a gift bag filled with archival goodies – classic copies of FATE Magazine.

Craig, Jon, the Downse’s hosts Richie and Naomi, I and others met up for conversation over TexMex cuisine before bidding our friends from across the pond a fond farewell.

WEIRD Magazine Interviews SMiles Lewis of the Austin Anomaly Archives

Read the Entire Issue Online: issuu.com/weirdmagazine/

W: Welcome to Weird Magazine. It’s been a while. Tell readers about the Anomaly Archives?

SAI: Hi Russell. It’s great to talk with you again. Thanks for the opportunity to tell you readers about the Anomaly Archives.

The Anomaly Archives is the lending library of the Scientific Anomaly Institute (S.A.I.), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks the preservation and dissemination of scientific research into anomalous phenomena, research into and analysis of our accumulated collections and the education of the public regarding scientific investigations into these many mysterious phenomena.

Our collection houses over 2000 books as well as research materials that includes videos, government documents, magazines, and personal correspondence donated from a variety of people in the UFO and paranormal research fields. Along with the S.A.I. collection, we also house the collections of Austin MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) and INACS (Institute for Neuroscience And Consciousness Studies). We house many great books that discuss a wide range of scientific subjects including UFOs and Ufology, Consciousness, Parapsychology, Fortean Phenomena, ParaPolitical Science, Human Potential, and Jungian Theory. Also located on site are thousands of books belonging to the Jung Society of Austin, devoted to the psychological theories of Dr. Carl Gustav Jung.

We have a wealth of information on a wide variety of strange phenomena available for free to the public and dues paying members can check out books to read at home.

We also sponsor local lectures and workshops on these subjects including past events featuring former military remote viewer Paul Smith as well as a Texas Ghost Lights Conference with guest speakers including British earth lights researcher Paul Devereux, Texan paranormal bigfoot investigator Rob Riggs, British transplant and Fortean Cryptozoologist and Ufologist Nick Redfern, myself and others.

W: What are the hours the public can visit?

SAI: Right now we are open most Saturdays from 1-5pm. Though there is often someone on-site during normal weekday business hours, interested folks should contact me ahead of time (contact@anomalyarchives.org) before dropping by unannounced. We hope to begin offering expanded weekday and weekend hours very soon. Folks can come visit us at our new location in North West Austin near the intersections of Research and Technology Blvds (ED: This was our 2nd location and we moved out of their in about 2018)

MAILNG ADDRESS:

Anomaly Archives
PO Box 152252
Austin, TX 78715

W: How long have you been conducting the Archive?

SAI: Well, I’ve been collecting books on strange phenomena all my life. I had dreamed of starting my own paranormal research organization for a long time and in 2003 we officially incorporated with the State of Texas. By 2006 we’d been approved by the IRS as an official tax-exempt community group. So officially I guess I’ve been coordinating the Archives for about 7 years now.

W: So tell us SMiles… Bigfoot, UFOs, Men In Black, Aliens from Space, is there truth to any of these legends? If so, can we learn more through the Austin Anomaly Archives?

SAI: As you know Russell, there is at least a little truth in all of those mysterious legends and a whole lot of speculation surrounds each of them. Yes, there is a lot to be learned about these mysteries from the materials at the Anomaly Archives.

Most people don’t think of Texas when they hear about bigfoot but I’ve said for years that any big discovery about these elusive creatures is very likely going to come from research done here in Texas. Our big state has a long history of bigfoot sightings with a wide variety of regional names associated with these creatures including Wild Man, Hairy Man, Swamp Ape / Skunk Ape, Wooly Booger, to name just a few. The Piney Woods of East Texas’ Big Thicket have apparently played home to a number of such human / bigfoot encounters as documented in Rob Riggs’ excellent book In the Big Thicket: On the Trail of the Wildman.

Texas has one of the best organized bigfoot investigation groups in the country: The TBRC – Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy is a non-profit outfit doing some of the best ongoing instrumented cryptozoology field research not just in Texas’ Big Thicket but also into the forests that spread from here into Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. They also have one of the best annual bigfoot conferences in the country, previously held in Jefferson and most recently in Tyler. In fact for a time, Texas was home to two annual bigfoot events, one put on by the TBRC and one hosted by another fantastic Texas bigfoot hunter named Chester Moore Jr., called the Southern Crypto Conference.

The Anomaly Archives has a sizable section of books and videos devoted to Cryptozoology and the hunt for bigfoot, Sasquatch and Yeti.

I realize that many people find it very difficult to believe in bigfoot, but consider this: legendary primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall even thinks there is good evidence for the existence of an undiscovered North American primate…

Dr. Goodall: Well now, you’ll be amazed when I tell you that I’m sure that they exist.
Ira Flatow: You are?
Dr. Goodall: Yeah. I’ve talked to so many Native Americans who all describe the same sounds, two who have seen them. I’ve probably got about, oh, thirty books that have come from different parts of the world, from China from, from all over the place, and there was a little tiny snippet in the newspaper just last week which says that British scientists have found what they believed to be a yeti hair and that the scientists in the Natural History Museum in London couldn’t identify it as any known animal.

National Public Radio’s Talk of the Nation: Science Friday – 9/27/02

Folks should check out the recent film released in 2008, Wild Man of the Navidad. It’s a nicely done retro horror movie based on stories of bigfoot-like wild people from the Navidad region northwest of Victoria. And let’s not forget the Hairy Man Road legends in Round Rock which now has its own yearly festival.

UFO (and Parapsychology) research are the Anomaly Archive’s strong suit and represent our largest collection. We have hundreds of books on the subject of Unidentified Flying Objects, Alien Abductions, and related areas of research. There are many approaches to understanding the UFO phenomenon including advanced secret technology, mysterious natural phenomena, etc., but of course it is the possibility that some sighting reports represent NOT “UFOs” but “IFOs” in the form of supposed alien spacecraft that gets most people excited about “Flying Saucers.” Despite there being a lot of nonsense surrounding belief in UFOs, there is much we can learn about ourselves, humanity at large and the nature of perception and reality by studying the phenomenon. I personally think that it is highly likely that humanity has been in contact with a wide variety of intelligences (be they extraterrestrial, interdimensional, cryptoterrestrial, time travelers, what have you) through phenomena variously described as UFOs, phantom airships, mysterious lights, spiritual encounters with angels and demons – all manner of mysterious interactions. There is a wealth of cutting edge science that could possibly explain these and other strange events, and the Anomaly Archives seeks to educate the public about these new scientific discoveries and old esoteric knowledge.

As for the MIB (Men In Black), yes, there are many stories of these bizarre shadowy figures who seem to arrive and depart more like phantoms than supposed government alphabet agency men. Some times these sinister personages seem very much like FBI types, presenting false credentials, intimidating witnesses, stealing evidence such as UFO photographs, but more often than not there is an absurd trickster-like quality to their behaviors and their very existance seems more like that of a ghost or some other-worldly denizen. The late John Keel (one of the best writers on the subject of UFOs) did much to popularize the notion of the MIB with his book The Mothman Prophecies. He and a handful of other writers described the reports they’d received of UFO witnesses encountering these often menacing Men In Black. However, these UFO writers, Gray Barker, Jim Moseley, Timothy Green Beckley and John Keel, could all be said to have their own sort of Tricksterish quality about them. <wink>

W: Tell us about Anomaly Radio.

SAI: I’ve been streaming my own webradio station since late 2000. During the past 10 or so years I’ve hosted a variety of terrestrial and internet-based radio shows. For a while I co-hosted the Thursday evening news on Austin’s KOOP 91.7fm radio station. I even co-hosted a show with you for a while back in 2002 or 2003. Beginning in about 2006 I relaunched my webradio station as the Anomaly Radio Network. The station features an eclectic assortment of live and pre-recorded paranormal and parapolitical shows produced by myself and friends of mine from around the country. Among the many fine programs on the network you can hear Greg Bishop’s Radio Misterioso, Robert Larson’s Out The Rabbit Hole, Raymond and Joe’s Disinformation, John Greenewald Jr.’s Black Vault Radio, Mike Watt’s The Watt From Pedro Show, Scott Horton’s AntiWar Radio, plus a whole lot more.

Every Sunday night my good friend and comic artist Mack White and I host PsiOp-Radio live from 7-9pm CST. Besides Anomaly Radio, the show is also carried on the American Freedom Radio and Revere Radio networks.

Anomaly Radio is not affiliated with the Anomaly Archives lending library.

W: You know Alex Jones of Austin, what do you think of his latest film “Fall of the Republic”?

SAI: Yes, of course. I’ve been following Alex Jones’ career since the late 1990s. It’s been amazing to watch his rise to prominence over the past 10 plus years. We have several of his documentaries available at the Anomaly Archives. In fact, two of our earliest large donations of books came from Mike Hanson and Chris Athanas. Mike Hanson was one of Alex’s earliest assistant producers and fans will remember him as the honorable man who snuck into Bohemian Grove with Alex. Chris Athanas was a then prolific Austin Community Television producer and staunch defender of liberty. Both Hanson and Athanas have graciously donated a number of books on a variety of topics to the Anomaly Archives.

Fall of the Republic is Alex’s best produced documentary to date. With each new film he raises the bar on parapolitical / conspiracy documentary filmmaking. It also doesn’t hurt that in FOTR he is perhaps the most CALM he has ever appeared in any of his films. This toning down of his usually overly dramatic persona has definitely made he and his message much more accessible to a wider audience.

W: Is there really a nefarious element deep within American Government or on a global scale that wishes to enslave humanity as portrayed in George Orwell’s hellish nightmare predicted in his book, 1984?

SAI: I think it is incredibly naive to think that people in power would limit their activities to only philanthropic pursuits. History is filled with examples of the Powers That Be colluding and conspiring to not only keep the power they have but to seek greater and greater levels of power. Empires throughout history have risen and fallen on the backs of conspiracies perpetrated by cabals of the rich and powerful. Various individuals and groups have conspired with designs on conquering and controlling the world. Very often this is accomplished not just through overt and obvious military might but through economic and psychological warfare which most people don’t even recognize as being used against them.

So while the tyrannical techniques described by Orwell in 1984 are mirrored in our growing Big Brother surveillance society, I think the evidence is equally clear that through accident AND design, a Brave New World Order “scientific dictatorship” as described by Aldous Huxley is the new preferred model for controlling populations.

I should add that “the views and opinions expressed by myself are not necessarily those of the Anomaly Archives or its board of directors.” LOL!

W: What are your thoughts on Climategate? And have you seen Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura on truTV?

SAI: Climategate is a perfect example of how science is NOT supposed to operate. Science is about making observations, testing hypotheses, asking questions and applying the answers to make useful predictions about the world around us. But science has always been politicized and weaponized, so this recent scandal is nothing new. However, whatever the true nature of global climate change and humanity’s influence on those changes, there should never be a climate of fear surrounding open discussion about the scientific research investigating those climatological processes.

So far I’ve only seen one episode of Jesse Ventura’s new Conspiracy Theory TV show, and it wasn’t the one on HAARP and weather control. However, I believe that episode featured researcher Jerry E. Smith whom I’ve interviewed on my radioshow about his excellent resource, Weather Warfare, which details the facts and history of human modification of the weather as well as the creation of earthquakes and more. When I interviewed Jerry, it was after they’d recorded the episode but before it had aired. He said that the TruTV folks had bungled several of the facts and details alleged in the episode regarding oil companies and HAARP related patents.

The one episode I’ve seen of Ventura’s new show was on 9/11. I thought it was very interesting and pretty well done. I was especially interested in the discussion about the official claim that no black boxes were recovered from ground zero for the WTC attack aircraft. All 4 boxes were supposedly never found. Yet there are allegations that they were found but have been suppressed for some reason.

W: Did you see the footage of the ALLEGED Russian Missile test in Norway? It looked more like a portal opening up out of Star Trek. Are you familiar with Project Blue Beam?

SAI: Wow! Yeah, I’ve watched as many of the video clips as I’ve been able to find. Yeah, it really looks like the “jump-gate” vortex from the Babylon 5 tv series to me. While I am initially inclined towards accepting the Russian Bolova missile explanation, there are aspects of the event that I have still not found adequate answers for. I’ve seen people use various mathematical formulas to both support the missile test theory and debunk it as well. But I think that if someone can create that dramatic of an event, whether with a missile or some other exotic technology and techniques, then it will be used as weapon for psychological warfare.

That is the basic premise behind the 15 year old rumor known as “Project Blue Beam” which appears to have been first publicized by researcher Serge Monast in 1994. This idea of a deceptive grand illusion has been one of my main areas of study since I first read Jacques Vallee’s seminal book Messengers of Deception, that he published in 1979 (and which was just republished by Daily Grail Publishing in 2008). In that book he suggested that the engines of deception employed by the Allied powers to defeat the Axis in World War II, might have been employed after the war to create UFO and paranormal manifestations with the ultimate goal of preventing another World War by uniting humanity through the production of a grand external threat. He doesn’t think these technologies and techniques represent the “true UFO phenomenon” but that the governments and militaries of the world are utilizing belief in these phenomena for their own political ends as psychological warfare.

Project Blue Beam has never been officially documented and is simply one alleged grand scenario in which images of a deity would be holographically projected into the sky around the world while accompanied simultaneously by another psychotronic technology designed to excite your “heart chakra” so you feel love and devotion while also inducing the “Voice of God” inside everyone’s head. Vallee has suggested that some UFO events might be small scale versions of a scenario like that described above, though to my knowledge, he has never specifically referenced “Project Blue Beam.”

W: What is next for the Anomaly Archives? Ever thought about taking it on the road?

SAI: We have several events in the planning stages right now for this year featuring various paranormal and UFO researchers. We are starting monthly meetups for folks wanting to learn more about anomalous phenomena.

I would love to see the Anomaly Archives launch a tour across Texas and the United States educating the public about these fascinating, strange, and mysterious phenomena. If someone wants to donate an RV, bus or van then perhaps we can create our own Alien UFO Bookmobile!

W: Finally, what do you think about 2012 and climate change? Will the global Elite blame weather and 2012 as the cause for the need for a global carbon tax, in your opinion?

SAI: I don’t think that 2012 and climate change necessarily have anything to do with one another, though perhaps those seeking globalization through environmentalism-based governance might like to conflate the two.

I agree with Terence McKenna, who arrived at the December 21st, 2012 date through his own research into psychedelics and the Chinese I-Ching… that we will be unrecognizable to ourselves after that point. I don’t think it will necessarily be an immediate or dramatic event so much as an increasingly alienating experience of the world around us due to ever increasing technology innovation, political and social upheaval.

I have no idea whether the proposed global carbon tax will be the inevitable currency through which the forces of globilization shall seek to control the populations. One of the great things about McKenna was that he was an eternal  optimist when it came to grand global conspiracies. He felt that the nature of humanity and the mind of the planet were far to complex to be completely controlled by nefarious human agencies. While I hope he is correct, I don’t think that should stop us from actively working to ensure that the Powers That Be fail in their attempts to use resources as weapons in an infinite cycle of crisis politics. Time and time again I come back to this quote:

“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill … All these dangers are caused by human intervention and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”

W: Thanks SMiles, Take your pic of conspiracy. Rank the following. JFK assassins, UFOs & the Government, NASA Fake Moon Landings; 911 was an Inside Job; and the ET Presence on Earth. Best to worst conspiracy?

SAI: Thanks Russell. It’s been a pleasure talking with you and your readers.

Okay, if you mean for me to rank them in terms of Best Evidence vs Worst Evidence then here is how I’d rate them:

* UFOs & the Government – It is undeniable that the United States government and military have investigated UFOs in the past. There are thousands of official documents which prove this fact. To what degree they are still doing so is the real mystery.

* JFK assassins – There is significant evidence of conspiracy and multiple assassins involved in the death of John F. Kennedy. The 1979 House Select Committee on Assassinations concluded that there was a probable conspiracy, contradicting the Warren Commission Report.

* 911 was an Inside Job – From my research into the events of September 11th, there are too many anomalies, inconsistencies, and outright cover-ups that are not accounted for in the U. S. government’s official conspiracy theory. There is evidence that was not acknowledged by the 911 Commission which clearly indicates that the alleged hijackers had help carrying out the attacks. If even one of those who helped the attacks take place was in a position of power, whether within the FAA, airport security, the FBI, the halls of Washington or the walls of the Pentagon, then there was indeed an “Inside Job.”

* NASA Fake Moon Landings – While I think it is naive to believe the United States government would tell us the absolute truth about such incredibly symbolic technological achievements I’ve not seen convincing evidence that the entirety of the moon landing was faked. It’s been said that if the United States discovered that the world was flat they would conceal this discovery so that it could be used to their strategic advantage. In a similar way I think we’ve not been given the entire truth regarding our trips to the moon. I’ve seen some evidence that makes me question the nature of what we’ve been shown and told is photographic evidence of the events, however, that doesn’t convince me that we didn’t go, it just convinces me that the government, as usual, isn’t telling us the whole story.

* ET Presence on Earth – I believe the UFO phenomenon represents humanity’s encounters with a variety of consciosnesses and intelligences. Evidence for the “alienness” of such entities is skimpy and highly speculative at best. I think the data much more strongly suggests what Mac Tonnies called the CryptoTerrestrial hypothesis. So far the only real scientific investigation into publicly documented ExtraTerrestrial life existing on earth has been the highly controversial findings of physicists Godfrey Louis and Santhosh Kumar of Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam, India into the mysterious “Red Rain” which fell in the southern Indian state of Kerala in 2001.

Previously, we heard a cryptozoologist’s view of Outbreak! The Encyclopedia of Extraordinary Social Behavior. Now we get the UFOlogical viewpoint from Nick Redfern, who calls the book “quite possibly the most important contribution to the world of Forteana (which, of course, encompasses UFOs…) in a very long time.” The book, notes Redfern, shows “how we as a species, and as groups, collectively react to unusual phenomena and stressful situations (and how we may be responsible for their creation and interpretation); how and why – at times – we respond in a totally over-the-top, hysterical fashion; how such behavior can totally affect and manipulate minds of a normally rational nature; and, as a result, how we inadvertently provoke extraordinary situations, tales, rumors, legends and much more…”

If you have a dog, you know how remarkably human they can be. How to rationally explain this? A new book “describing the original and unusual research pursuits of award-winning French scientist Suzel Fuzeau-Braesch presents rigorous proof that man and animals — specifically pedigreed pups and cloned cows — are behaviorally impacted by where the major planets turn up in their astrological birth charts.” A detailed presentation of the findings presented in the new book entitled Astrology Off The Beaten Track — A Scientific Study of Planets and Personality.

A superb documentary tells the true and intriguing story of the discovery of a Bronze Age artifact in a German forest and how the artifact was recovered from the grave robbers who uncovered it. The nine-part series of videos, each around five minutes long, also tells the significance of the small metal disc the tomb raiders uncovered. Key quote: “It’s the find of a lifetime. Indeed, the find of several lifetimes.” Does this small metal object prove civilization arrived in Europe 3600 years ago?
