Over at our Anomaly Archives Patreon page, we’ve been posting a number of different things lately, but you can scroll through even without having joined and see previews of all that material. And like I said, over at the Flipboard, you can see the thousands of articles that we’ve been flipping over there for years and years and years. I don’t know when I started flipping articles into our Flipboard account, but man, it goes back so far. It can be a little cumbersome to go back too far. Just the way the site works, it’s one long scrolling page. It doesn’t seem to let you search by year. So again, denominiarchives .org website has a great set of links. to past month by month, sometimes week by week, sometimes quarter by quarter of the year, accumulations of those news links. So something to consider. Well, we do like to highlight awesome free content that you can find online. And sure enough, the SCU Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies over at ExploreSCU .org has the latest edition of their SCU review. Edition 6 .3. It was just posted just about a day ago. And news from the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies inside this issue. Uh -oh.

Hold on, folks.

Of course. That’s great. Well, hold on. Yeah, I’ve got some technical difficulties in the studio here. And we’re going to try to get back to this. Try and… Let’s see if we can get this going again.

see if we can get this going again. All right. So, yes. Over at explorerscu .org is the latest downloadable edition, July 24, 2025, of the SCU Review, publication number 22, including a fireside chat with Esteban Correo, UAP News, SCU Distinguished Scholar Award Honors, Dr. Kevin Knuth, Academia. Professor Anders Worrell writes that it is time for academia to close the UAP UFO knowledge gap. And there are several opinion pieces, including reviews of books like The Evidence for UFO Science by Michael Jauer, USOs, The Underwater UFOs Part 2 by Marco Biancini, and Alien Abduction, Part and Parcel of the UAP Phenomena, or Bane to UAP Research, question mark, by William Granger. And then a potpourri by our good friend and SCU member Robert Powell. Robert is, of course, based here in Austin, Texas as well. But you’ll want to check that out over at explorer .com. exploreseu .org and before this crashes again let’s see if we can play this so there is we’re going to start with some ai technology related news i really like this ben jordan fellow he’s an audio technician and musician who has a fantastic youtube channel i first discovered him because of his work doing an investigation of the mystery hum something that i experienced years ago and

that he did a really good mini documentary on. And just, I wanted to play just a quick second of this video. Hopefully the audio will come through.

So, yeah, so this is Ben Jordan. The video is titled, I Saved a PNG Image to a Bird. And as hopefully you saw and heard there using a spectrogram, he encoded a roughly drawn image of a bird. And it looks like this studio keeps crashing. I’m going to have to try something different. But yeah, so let me get this going here. Hold on.

Please forgive me. We’re going to take a quick break.

All right. Sorry for the technical difficulties and a little break there. Yeah, so as I was saying before the break, before the studio broke, I really appreciate this audio technician and musician, Ben Jordan’s YouTube channel. Highly recommend it. First became aware of it when he did a really good mini documentary on the mystery hum phenomena. And he’s done so many other great YouTube videos, many of which document the effects of AI, artificial intelligence, or claimed AI software. AI generated music and its effects on the music industry for musicians and for users and ways to fight back against that and which streaming platforms are best for musicians. But this particular video titled I Saved a PNG Image to a Bird is really phenomenal to my estimation. Besides giving you an overview of how to create a low cost technological setup to record audio sounds of animals in your local environment and have software discern what types of animals your recordings are hearing and uploading it to a website. All kinds of very interesting information. But this thing about the title, I saved a PNG image to a bird. He shows a waveform where he embedded a rough image of a bird, a profile image of like a duck almost. And recorded the sound that was generated by this encoded image and played it to this starling, which already this particular starling has been in rehab. You’ll learn a little bit more about that rehab facility and the bird who’s gotten quite a reputation for its ability to recreate sounds. And apparently it reproduced this encoded image sound, which is phenomenal. Think about this. And I, of course, my mind immediately went to the paranoid thought of, I wonder if this could be used for espionage purposes of spies embedding secret information somehow in a bird song and then having a bird mimic it back to another agent or something. Anyway, all that aside, I highly recommend Ben Jordan’s YouTube channel. And this particular video is very, very interesting. And as I say, it has to do with AI, advanced technology. but also very inexpensive technology. So moving right along, you know, we’ve talked a lot about the negative impact of AI on the media sphere and how hard it is to discern truth from fact, fact from fiction, fiction from fake, rather, you know, fact and fiction, fiction, fake and real words, salad, you know, over at the TED channel. How to Spot Fake AI Photos. This is by Hani Farid. This is a very brief 12 -minute presentation where he talks about his job trying to discern this kind of information, whether an image, in this case on the screen, he’s showing an image that would appear to show four soldiers being held hostage by another soldier in a dimly lit cell. where it’s hard to make out. Now, at a glance, my first thought, of course, is, oh, that’s clearly AI. But he walks you through some of the basic steps that he uses in his everyday job to discern that sort of thing. And I think that that’s more needed than ever before. And I do think this is a teaching moment, and I think that there is so much confusion out there. I increasingly hear people saying, when they see images that i don’t think are ai that they do they they’re like oh that’s probably ai or i think that’s ai and i’m like no i just think that’s that’s really real but and then there’s other instances where i’m like no no that’s that is ai but anyway this is this one’s over at the ted channel highly recommended how to spot fake ai photos featuring honey farid that’s h -a -n -y last name f -a -r -i -d who let’s see he is described as a digital forensics expert And he explains how he helps journalists, courts, and governments find structural errors in AI -generated images, offering four practical tips everyday individuals can use when facing the Internet’s war on reality. That is a very brief but good -worthy video. Also, another video on the same kind of subject is coming from NBC News’ YouTube channel. That’s NBC News on YouTube, titled AI News Videos Blur Line Between Real and Fake Reports. This is, again, to anybody who’s been following this, this is not news, but it is, again, I think very important. And they’re focusing on how AI is creating these fake news clips, how this is sometimes being spread even by mainstream news outlets by mistake, and how easy it is to create these sorts of things. Again, some great video clips here where they show examples of people, you know, often at disaster sites. and how that’s being manipulated there are some cute videos here one featuring a very technological ufo flying saucer coming up out of the ocean with water dripping off of it as well as an interesting like giant octopus a kraken type monster coming out of the ocean with its tentacles flailing around so fun stuff like that but then they actually sit down and try to recreate an existing weather report video and to strikingly realistic results. So very fun, interesting, but as well, very concerning. Now, speaking of concerning, all this talk of AI, you know, whether or not you get hung up on the intellectual property, the copyright issues, how so much of this AI training is being built on the backs. of artists whose work is being completely stolen, ripped off by the scraping efforts of these AI companies, these big mega corporations that are just scouring the internet and using it to train these large language model AI type systems to be able to generate sounds, images, and moving video. If you even just set all that aside, the environmental impact of these things is staggering. and very concerning and while i certainly want to see human potential expanded by our use of of powerful computing technology and i am very interested in the possibilities of true artificial intelligence not this faux chatbot ai junk that we’re having to to contend with now and that it’s literally eliminating people’s jobs left and right with almost certainly very negative impacts down the line that we’re just starting to see the tip of the iceberg on. But this article over at ArsTechnica .com, AI in Wyoming may soon use more electricity than state’s human residents. Proposed data center would demand five -time Wyoming’s current power use at full deployment. The article says, on Monday, Mayor Patrick Collins of Cheyenne, Wyoming, announced plans for an AI data center that would consume more electricity than all homes in the state combined, according to the Associated Press. The facility, a joint venture between energy infrastructure company Tallgrass and AI data center developer Crusoe, would start at 1 .8 gigawatts, gigawatts, and scale up to 10 gigawatts of power use. I think the first time I ever heard the word gigawatt was…

the good doctor in Back to the Future. But, and as a side note here, the image, of course, this being about Wyoming, what image do they use for this Ars Technica article? There’s, I don’t think there’s any images of, there’s accompanying video, what happens to the developers when AI can code, but there’s no images related to this actual data center. But because it’s mentioning that it’s in Utah, the image they use is of the Devil’s Tower. not Utah, Wyoming, excuse me, Devil’s Tower, Wyoming. They use the image of Devil’s Tower, which, of course, is synonymous with Steven Spielberg’s classic UFO movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, that features, of course, a cameo by J. Allen Hynek, and which had Dr. Jacques Vallée as a consultant, even though it seems like he, Spielberg, set… junked most of Valet’s suggestions.

All right, moving right along to our cryptozoology segment for today over at Henry Bauer, his Substack, that’s H -E -N -R -Y -H -B -A -U -E -R .substack .com. Loch Ness, well -known misinformation, little -known truths. Now, this is just a really brief blurb, unless it’s paywalled and I’m not seeing the rest of it, but I think it’s just a really brief blurb, which I will read for you right now. During the 1930s, the global mass media decided that the Loch Ness Monster existed only as a persistent hoax, and that view entered also into such authoritative sources as encyclopedias, while genuinely scientific publications had nothing to say about it. That has changed hardly at all. Scientifically credentialed writers and pundits have not kept themselves up to date as to the evidence. During the second half of the 20th century, conclusive evidence came to show that there is a population of large deep -dwelling animals in Loch Ness, animals whose place in the tree of life remains to be established since no specimen or authentic DNA have yet been obtained. Now, of course, obviously a lot of people would contend that is not fact or true. But this person, Henry, gives his citations for further research on that, including the next paragraph. The evidence of film, sonar observations, and underwater photographs are all consistent, however, with thousands of reliable eyewitness testimonies. Citation number one. That evidence was accumulated by the insights, efforts, and fieldwork of many people, most notably Constance White, that’s W -H -Y -T -E, 1957, to Tim Dinsdale. 1960, and David James’s Loch Ness investigation in the 1970s, and the teams led by Robert Rines in the 1970s. All of those are citated, numbers two, three, and four. Yet in 2024, a book intended for quote -unquote young adults was titled Loch Ness Uncovered Media Misinformation and the Greatest Monster Hoax of All Time by Rebecca Siegel, Astrid Young Readers. April 2024. The book contains innumerable errors of fact as well as logic, but nothing more is needed to completely discredit it than to point out that it mentions neither White nor Dinsdale and that the chapter about Robert Rhines is entirely misleading. It is a disgrace to its author and publisher. Harsh words by Henry Bower here. And there are his citations to try to back up his claims there. You know, of course, I am like so many. I grew up. with reading every UFO book I could find in my elementary school library, every Bigfoot book, every Loch Ness Monster book, every Bermuda Triangle book, and quickly exhausted the library’s materials, had to go to my neighboring city public library, which also was my babysitter for the last few years of my elementary career. And, you know, found so many great resources, both intended for young adults as well as adult nonfiction works. But I have to say, you know, I still, like so many things, I remain agnostic. I think that there is distinctly the possibility, nay, probability of creatures existing in the physical realm as some kind of undiscovered remaining prehistoric creatures.

creatures. It’s hard to say, but whether that be these different types of lake monsters that are described around the world or forest creatures described as Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and other relict hominoids, as some like to say. I am not saying that that’s definitive. I’ve heard arguments on both sides of the discussion, and I remain open to the possibility. I think there really are more things under the heavens than are dreamt of in our philosophy, so to speak. All right. Moving right along to a really prolific blog called Loch Ness Monster, which is at the URL Loch Ness Mystery dot blog spot.

This most recent article, Ted Holiday’s last unpublished book. You know, I haven’t read Ted Holiday in ages. He’s written a number of great books. Of course, he died back in, I think, 1979. And several books of his were published posthumously after his death. And I really think he’s worthy of your attention. If you’ve never heard of him, he’s very worth looking into. You can, of course, go to our… web page where we have more information about him over at anomalyarchives .org his full name frederick aka ted william holliday lived from 1921 to 1979 he was an english journalist who wrote books about angling and also the loch ness monster but really he he’s one of those who really looked at the paranormal aspects the the strange synchronicities that surround these these types of events and One of my favorite books of his was, again, I believe published posthumously by Colin Wilson, who is who ended up with his materials. And you can read this article, like I say, over at the Loch Ness mystery dot blogspot dot com.

And where the author says, for me personally, the story goes back to 2018, trying to access this manuscript with a view to the cryptic physiological world, reading this work by one of the most notable researchers on the Loch Ness mystery. Ted Holliday died in 1979, but before then he had at least two unpublished works which ended up in the hands of the well -known paranormal author Colin Wilson. Colin Wilson is also somebody that if you’re not familiar with, highly recommend you check him out. The two men were friends and corresponded on matters related to UFOs, Loch Ness Monster, and so on over the years. Indeed, Holliday had been involved in the investigation of UFO reports in Wales and had co -published a book on the subject called The Difed Enigma with Randall Jones Pugh just months before his fatal heart attack. Colin Wilson considered the two manuscripts and with the permission of Ted’s mother, published one manuscript in 1990 entitled The Goblin Universe. And oh, what a book that is. I think I have the image of that on the web. But yes, there we go. It’s a Matrix -like image, a purple neon grid with a plesiosaur sea monster poking its head up through the grid. And again, the title is The Goblin Universe. Back over at Loch Ness Mystery blog. Yes, this could be, speaking of the Goblin Universe, this could be said to be the logical conclusion to his prior book, The Dragon and the Disc, where Holiday began to explore what he saw as the paranormal aspects of the creature in Loch Ness. But Colin did not take the other manuscript any further. In his introduction to the Goblin Universe, He says that Ted had sent the Goblin manuscript to him in 1977, but had written back some months later saying he was dissatisfied with it and was scrapping it in favor of another book. After his death, Wilson wrote to Holiday’s mother asking if he had left any other manuscripts and he received one in the post some days later. He continues, quote, I tore it open eagerly and discovered to my disappointment that it was the typescript of a book about lake monsters. It contained much important and fascinating material. but simply lacked the daring range and sweep of the Goblin universe. To just briefly, again, Ted Holiday was one of the few people who really was an anomalous, a Fortean, a big toe theorist,

toe theorist, theory of everything, TOE, kind of lumping all these phenomena together. But he had some fascinating stories of his own experiences and synchronicities that surrounded. his exploration and investigations of the Loch Ness mystery and its possible connection to UFOs that I think folks should look into. All right, well, that is going to be it for our cryptozoology section, and we’ll be right back.

Well, thanks for sticking with us. Yes, this is Anomaly Now for July 30th, 2025. This is the weekly sometimes live news and media roundup show for the 501c3 nonprofit anomaly archives here in Austin, Texas. Thank you. Yes, we were talking about UFO stuff, or I was about to start talking about UFO stuff. Gosh, there’s so much. Obviously, UFOs are my favorite area of study in the weird wide world of anomalistics, esoterica, fortiana, all these areas. fascinate me as mentioned cryptozoology the nature of consciousness and parapsychology especially paranormal phenomena like hauntings all that stuff you know mysterious ancient civilizations all alternative histories so many very weird wonderful areas to explore but ufos have always been the the the really the beat of my drummer so to speak And there is a ton of news. And I don’t always know what to report on. I try to focus on the stuff that either catches my attention or that I think I can add something to the discussion about. There are a ton of big news items. And let’s just start with this one from Sentinel News, Baptiste Freescore. has reported headlines, Senate confirms former Air Force pilot and UFO witness Matthew Lohmeyer as the new Undersecretary of the Air Force. In a press release published July 24th, the Department of Defense announced the name of the new Air Force Undersecretary. Now, I am not familiar with this fellow. I haven’t had the chance to really dig into his history, but Baptiste reports here at sentinel -news .org. Matthew Lohmeyer has served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Space Force. He’s an experienced pilot who has flown the T -38 trainer jet and the F -15C Eagle, a retired air superiority fighter aircraft for over 1 ,200 hours. With advanced platforms having broken into U .S. airspace repeatedly since 2018, the new USAF undersecretary will undoubtedly have plenty to do in his new position, as he will be in charge of risk management and acquisitions. Having spent time in the People’s Liberation Army and speaking Mandarin, one can only hope that these skills will help him to counter the drone waves that have challenged the security of the United States in recent years, with China often being named as one of the alleged culprits. Wait a minute. He spent time in the PLA and speaks Mandarin. What?

Matthew Lohmeyer is known to the public as one of the few pilots who have publicly declared that he witnessed a UFO. and to have been relieved of his command for publishing a book and numerous appearances on podcasts. His brutal confirmation hearing showed the distrust he faced regarding his political opinions. Okay, so I get it now. Regarding UFO, in an interview on the Before School, S -K -O -O -L, podcast, he declared, quote, I have a particular worldview, let me say it this way, and we can weave in the UFO discussion in this part of the conversation because there is a natural desire that humans have to believe that we’re not alone in the cosmos. At least I think most normal people are excited at the fact that there might be intelligent life elsewhere. Some of the UFO sightings that we have record of, I’ve often poo -pooed that in my adult life and having been in the military. I say, well, I chalk that up to government work. Much of what people are seeing is likely government programs, acknowledged or unacknowledged, or tricks of cameras. but I was watching a documentary that was done in 2020 called Phenomenon. I was watching it with my wife late at night, and it was probably 45 or 60 minutes into this documentary. We had air traffic controllers talking about a phenomenon that they occasionally see at their airfields. It’s not common, it’s rather rare, of these balls of light that seem to zip around the flight lines and be able to divide the known laws of physics incredibly fast, and they were like big orbs of light, orange or yellowish in color. And I paused the film, and I remembered… as odd as that sounds, that I’d seen the exact same thing in high school when I was in the mountains in Arizona. And I told my wife, I said, I’ve seen this. I know exactly what they’re talking about. And she said, no, you haven’t. I said, no, I really have. And she says, we’ve been married for 10 years. You’ve never mentioned this once, unquote. And it’s true. I hadn’t mentioned it because it was one of those things I’d never understood. It was a very peculiar experience. I was with another girl at the time when I saw this. And so I said, look, come with me. We’re going to go to Facebook. We’re going to go online. We’re going to send a message to this girl I’ve not reached out to in 20 years. And I’m going to say, hey, remember me? Remember that time we were in the Tucson mountains? Which is exactly what I did. I said, do you remember that thing we saw? And I didn’t say anything else. And she responded back immediately. And I was like, hey, be careful. My wife’s here with me. I don’t want you to embarrass me. And she said, yeah, that big freaking ball of light UFO thing that we saw. And my wife was surprised that, in fact, it was just as that documentary phenomenon had depicted. Anyway, there’s a lot more quotes from that interview. Yeah, that’s a very long quote. It ends, though, by Baptiste saying, the observation and its interpretation, as described by the newly appointed USAF undersecretary, bear a striking resemblance to the work of Dr. Massimo Teotarani. who specializes in living plasma. I highly recommend Dr. Massimo Teodorani’s work. You can actually hear some of his musical work featured on our YouTube channel. He contributed some very interesting ambient electronic music that we used during our 2020 Streamathon fundraiser. Of course, he is married to a wonderful researcher who we are also going to be featuring in upcoming months on our monthly Anomaly Academy lecture series as part of the patrons. benefits for folks above a certain Patreon tier. Anyway, yeah, check that out over at Sentinel News. Another article from Sentinel News, again from Baptiste Freescore. A new study seemingly shows alignment of UAPs in space. Now, so this, I believe, is part of what had been generating a lot of buzz online when a co -researcher of Dr. Villaroyal had been speaking. He did a… selfie video recording where he basically said, there’s big news coming out. I can’t say what it is, but it was really surprising to me, implying that it’s earth shattering in terms of some big revelation that now seems to have been related to this series of papers that the Villarreal and her Vasco project have been working on getting pushed through peer review for the last year or two. This has been confirmed by multiple sources. Very interesting papers. And this particular Sentinel News article has to do with at least one of those. And it begins by saying, the group of 15 authors led by Dr. Beatriz Villarreal present the most significant cases from a study previously reported by Sentinel News. In that previous paper, they used the Vasco project to detect light anomalies from the pre -space age era during nuclear tests. They found more than 100 ,000 UAPs with a maximum of over 4 ,500 on a single date. Even with a conservative estimation, as the same source could have been recorded on several photographic plates, this represents an astonishingly high number of UFO candidates. This paper is titled Aligned Multiple Transient Events in the First Palabar Sky Survey Spanish Virtual Observatory. And he quotes extensively. from that and provide some of the images there. Yeah, this is very interesting. He ends by saying, quoting, I think, Villaroyal again, however, what makes the events even more interesting is that Candidate 5 occurs on the same date as one of the most famous UFO mass sightings in history, namely the 1952 Washington UFO flap. Now, I know some folks have been critical of her linking that, but this is pretty interesting stuff. If you go to our webpage for Dr. Villarreal, you can find a variety of very informative links about her work, interviews with her, links to her vascoproject .org website, which stands for Vanishing and Appearing Sources During a Century of Observations. And I was reminded of something I had heard about but already had forgotten, where she did an interview with Richard Dolan back about a year ago. And she,

in researching, trying to use these old photographic astronomy plates,

these photographic plates from way back in the 50s, she rediscovered that, or discovered and publicized the strange connection of those missing plates to a known UFO skeptic arch debunker. We have some quotes here from… that video, I think, with Dolan from last year. Quote, Dr. Villarreal discusses the discovery of anomalous astronomical plates from pre -1957, prior to the era of man -made artificial satellites. Specifically, she highlights plates from 1950 and 1952, which depict unusual star -like objects that appear and vanish within a very short time frame. These anomalies were found on images from the 12th of April, 1950, yada, yada, yada, the last two dates coinciding with the Washington DC flap. However, Dr. Viorel also noted that coincident with these anomalies was the destruction of a substantial portion of the Harvard Observatory’s plate collection under the orders of then director Dr. Donald Menzel. Not only this, but 1953 saw the beginning of the infamous Menzel Gap. quote unquote, an extended period during which Harvard ceased collecting new astronomical data, leading to a gap in the historical record of modern astronomy. I’m sure there’s skeptics who write that off for some very prosaic reasons, but given Menzel’s reputation as being some kind of state manipulated debunker and suppressionist, it’s pretty funny and interesting coincidence at the very least. But there’s some great other video interviews and her presentations to the Sowell Foundation, all of which you can find at that link there, and all these new articles about these recent peer -reviewed papers. Very interesting stuff. Can’t wait to hear more, both pro and con, on both sides of the debate about this strange. area of research. Not strange, really. It’s like, why wasn’t this done earlier? She said it herself. She was very shocked to discover that nobody had bothered to use this old data to look for anomalous space objects or points of light in these photographic plates. So kudos to her for her taking on this research and getting so many people worldwide to get involved. Now, there’s a wide array of very crazy, wild UFO stories hitting the airwaves, the internets these last few days. Several friends have been emailing me links and thank goodness they did because a lot of the stuff would have gone right past me. It’s very strange how things get recycled and both by mainstream media such as it is or tabloid media and also the UFO media echo chambers that are, of course, fueled by the social media networks. Let’s see. So, yes, not my favorite news source, but the Daily Mail, this is the one from just yesterday. Ex -NASA engineer claims trillions of shape -shifting cloaked devices are hidden across Earth. So this is pretty wild that they’re picking up on this. They’re talking about the claims of Richard Banduric, B -A -N -D -U -R -I -C, the CEO of Field Propulsion Technologies and a former propulsion engineer for NASA and Lockheed Martin. He appeared in a breathtakingly mind -blowing podcast back in December of last year called the Ecosystemic Futures Podcast. I only became aware of this in January of this year, 2025. This is a very strange NASA adjacent conference or panel or seminar. I’m not sure. I know it appears to have been reported on by Chrissy Newton back in December over at thedebrief .org with her article, National Science Foundation hosts interagency meeting on disruptive technology. with UAP in focus that kind of touches on this. I think it’s the same event that then became the audio for this Ecosystemic Futures podcast. The website for which says, quote, NASA Convergent Aeronautics Solutions Project, collaborating with Shoshinworks. I’m not familiar with them. Dive deep with our… hosts and distinguished guests from NASA and beyond, exploring the advancements in technology and science that are shaping new ecosystemic models in industry, society, and policy, shaping our new economic engines. And there was this series of episodes with titles ranging from Taboo to Testimony, Technology, Citizen Science, and the Evolution of UAP Research with Leslie Kane, Ryan Graves, and Christine Kim. to an earlier one, Engineering the Impossible, UAP Insights Transforming Space Medicine and Global Innovation. And these each featured amazing people with,

with, say, very wild reputations like Lou Elizondo or Leslie Kane or Ryan Graves and these other seemingly mainstream science and aviation people. So the one in question here is from December of 2024. Beyond conventional physics, extended electrodynamics, lattice confinement fusion, zero point energy and advanced propulsion, which apparently features a wide array of folks ranging from Dr. Hal Puthoff, Austin’s own Hal Puthoff, Larry Forsley of Global Energy Corporation, Philip Lentz, L -E -N -T -Z of Unspace. the aforementioned Richard Bandurek of Field Propulsion Technologies, and these other folks from U .S. Navy Surface Warfare Center, Morning Bird Space, and U .S. Department of Energy rep or staffer REMA Oued, O -U -E -I -D. Now, they covered so many wild areas, and I remember I listened to a little of this, and I was just, I was mind -blown that this was being discussed so openly. Seemingly, literally, like, These current and former military governmental science organization, NGO, non -governmental organization people were openly discussing what seemed to amount to the idea of reverse engineering by the U .S. government. Reverse engineering of alleged technology of unknown origin that did not seem to be capable of being foreign adversary linked.

of unknown origin that did not seem to be capable of being foreign adversary linked. And I remember focusing on Richard Bandurek for some reason, because his claims seemed to be pretty extraordinary. And I didn’t really go much further, but we did create a page for him over at the website and put in a lot of links. He’s very fascinating. And you can listen to a couple of interviews with him, including the audio from that particular 2024 panel discussion. And, you know, he comes off as he doesn’t. He’s making extraordinary claims, but he doesn’t seem like he’s necessarily self -aggrandizing in the way that you think somebody who would be overtly lying might seem. But then, of course, the best liars are the ones that can convince you that they’re telling the truth. That’s not to say that I think he’s a liar. I just don’t know what to make of his claims. I’ve not seen anybody really do a full explication of him. But so. Again, some of his wildest claims are making it into this Daily Mail article that was published just yesterday, July 29, 2025, that amount to this description of dealing with these metamaterials, these little silver slivers of metal that he says, quote,

being examined. But then he says they could send off the dust and determine that through isotopic analysis that this was indeed extraterrestrial in origin. Some just wild claims. But yeah, of course, the Daily Mail, sensationalistic as it is, is playing up every wild aspect of this and turning it into a mainstream, quote unquote. Again, I don’t consider the Daily Mail to be mainstream, but. It’s just interesting that, OK, here we are seven months later from when that podcast came out and they’re pushing this. That in and of itself seems interesting to me why this would be coming out now. Now, there’s a million things that could be referenced here. He does also refer to the Black Triangle UFOs. And then they, of course, this article chimes in by quoting. The other alleged recent whistleblower, Matthew Brown, former U .S. national security official, who also talked about large black triangle shaped UFOs that he read about in the documents that he has been reporting on promoting, which others claim are just war game fiction and not actual secret documents. But yeah, so over at our website, we’ve got links to Yeah, back over to the Daily Mail, here’s that references to Matthew Brown, et cetera. But yeah, over at the Anomni Archives website, we’ve got pages on the Ecosystemic Futures podcast with links to those different episodes, as well as page for Richard Bandurek. But one of the things that I remember coming across that was like, what? So he has a couple of different websites. And at the time, I’m not sure if he still does. I should check right now. Yes, so on his website, he features this infamous, presumed hoax by most folks, image of the quote -unquote carrot slash Chad slash Firefly drone UFOs. So, you know, for those who don’t remember, for those of you who are 2017ers, or 17ers, 10 years before, back in 2007, there was this whole flap of weird CGI, is what we called it back then, not AI, but computer -generated imagery, these hoax photographs done by computer systems of very weird -looking, quote -unquote, UFO drones. And this got really popular,

how to say,

Linda Moulton Howe made a lot of hay out of this. Anyway, you can go to our page. We’ve got some great video links, including some good fun songs embedded in the page with some music that I remember enjoying. But yeah, I don’t know what to make of Richard Bandurek utilizing that image on his website’s pages. I mean, granted, maybe he just thought it looked cool. Okay. But if you’re trying to convince people that you’re legit and serious, it just seems strange that you would utilize that for your web page. At least I think so. Maybe. Yeah. He has two different pages, fieldpropulsiontechnology .com. And I guess they both link to that. Yeah, electricspacecraft .org, both redirect to fieldpropulsiontechnology .com. Anyway, make of all that what you will. So yeah, what’s old is new? Well, that’s not that old. It’s only six or seven months. Well, in my social media feed day yesterday, I guess it was, was a reference to… Something that I hadn’t, I recognized the phrase immediately, but was like, I haven’t heard that phrase in forever. And that’s Project Preserve Destiny. Only it’s now being touted, at least in this Italian news outlet, l ‘espresso .it. And this is the Google Translate version of it from Italian to English. The headline, not just terrorists for Trump. In Washington, the new mystery is called, quote unquote, Project Preserve Destiny. And people are now suddenly very much interested in that phrase and its reference to Dan Sherman. But OK, so this translation implies that Trump wants to be the UFO president, that he wants to get ahead and finally solve the mystery and be the person who reveals the truth to the world, that there are extraterrestrials and that the government has been reverse engineering these technologies, et cetera, et cetera. Now, this idea is not new. I think in his previous administration, there was these rumblings that, oh, he’s going to be the one. And of course, it seems like every president who gets into the Oval Office, people start projecting that hope and desire onto them. But in this case,

this case, And I was hearing from several other places that he’s trying to pass some kind of legislation, and some are referring to it as the Project Preserve Destiny policy documentation or something. But again, it’s very confusing because this refers to something that goes back to 1997 -98, or actually before, but the revelations within the UFO community go back to 1997 -98. And this Dan Sherman person. Dan Sherman is not mentioned at all in this article. So yes, this English translation of the Italian says, Donald Trump’s new agenda isn’t just about terrorists. Behind the scenes in Washington, a much darker issue is brewing. UFOs, and according to confidential sources, of course, something very concrete is already underway. It’s called Project Preserve Destiny, and it’s much more than a simple program to study so -called UAPs. Behind this evocative and disturbing name lies an institutional waltz that risks reshaping the balance between the Pentagon and the White House. According to rumors, the so -called Special Access Programs, SAPs, which until now formerly fell under the Department of Defense, will no longer be managed by the Pentagon. They will now report directly to the Oval Office. This decision, they say, was not made lightly. On the contrary, it is the result of weeks of highly classified meetings, closed -door briefings and tensions between military leaders and some of the Republican presidents. closest advisors because project preserved destiny is no ordinary dossier it involves six levels of secrecy the same sources say that would put any conspiracy thriller to shame it ranges from the public level where they tell you fairy tales unquote as those familiar with the dossier sarcastically sarcastically explained to the so -called programs within programs sections so compartmentalized that they remain inaccessible even to the incumbent president Behind the decision to shift the focus to the White House, according to those in the know, lies the desire to directly control the flow of information and perhaps in the long run, even to decide what is made public and what is not. Now, I’d heard, I’m not going to name the podcast, but earlier this week, I heard a podcast making references to this initiative. I didn’t know what they were referring to. Unfortunately, they didn’t have show notes that had a link to their sourcing of this. And I’m like, what are they talking about? I haven’t heard anything about this, and I’m not sure if maybe they were just repeating what they’d read here or in other outlets that were repeating the same idea, that there’s some inside sources saying that Trump is trying to redirect all of these special access program information flow channels through the Oval Office, through him, instead of their existing information flow, which would be huge news. And like so many things happening under this administration, worthy of discussions about a constitutional crisis. But yeah, so what to make of this? Is this outlet considered reputable? I don’t immediately think so, but then I was hearing a YouTube auto -dubbed news report saying that this actually is considered a reputable news outlet in Italy, but I have no way of verifying that. Well, again, we have a webpage for information on Dan Sherman over at our AnominalArchives .org site. He is an alleged electronic intelligence analyst and intuitive communicator who retired from the United States Air Force as a staff sergeant. His career spanned 12 years from 1982 to 1994, but he makes some insanely crazy wild claims about…

Being told that his genes were manipulated while he was in utero within his mother and that this has somehow affected his ability to be a psychic intuitive and that this is what got him ultimately to be recruited into a secret Air Force and or NSA program, a government inside program, black program, to communicate.

psychically or intuitively with extraterrestrial aliens. Wild stuff. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg with this guy. His bio claims, Sherman learned the ETs had been visiting various Earth cultures throughout history and had made contributions of learning and scientific technology to certain civilizations. He surmised ETs had genetically influenced human groups long before the modern era. His ET communicator told him there are a huge number of extraterrestrial cultures throughout the universe and revealed more than one country conducted a similar communications project with them. He put all this out into the public in a book called Above Black, Project Preserve Destiny, an insider account of alien contact and government cover -up. And you can watch a lecture that he gave at the International UFO Congress in 1998. Then he was still speaking to various sources in 2007. And to my knowledge, he’s still out there. And so maybe he’s having a resurgence. But yeah, there definitely seems to be in this last week or so a resurgence of interest in him. And you can find links to a variety of reputable or not news outlets talking about this at the anomaly archives website link. Well, moving into. Last couple of articles that we’ll cover for the UFO section, this one over at TheBaffler .com by Eric Benson, Loving the Alien, Three Days in the Mirror World of Modern Ufology. This is a very interesting and well -written review of the recent Rice University Archives of the Impossible Conference, a three -day event that was the third since they launched it back in 2022. originally supposed to launch in 2020, been in the works behind the scenes for years before that. I definitely enjoyed this review. If I’m not confusing it with another article I read recently, he got a few things wrong from my estimation. And he’s a bit cynical about these issues, but I think he does capture the flavor of this very interesting non -traditional UFO conference. As I’ve said to other people, I don’t really even consider this a UFO conference in the classic sense. There was no dealer’s room, for one. That is a staple of classic modern era UFO conferences is that there’s the lecture hall and there’s the dealer room where people are selling their UFO books and belt buckles and alien chocolates and what have you. He is, like I say, pretty skeptical and cynical, but… I do actually think he does a good job of encapsulating what he saw and heard and his interactions with people there. At one point, he describes that there was a dozen subreddit editors there. And I remember during one of the presentations, a question from the audience came from somebody who identified themselves as a subreddit editor and named the particular subreddit. Obviously, there are already there are a gaggle of at least a half dozen. subreddit UFO alien experience or subreddits that have created the anonymous coalition. I forget they’ve got their own YouTube channel. We’ve covered their very interesting AMA ask me anything online live streams that have featured Leslie Kane and others. But yeah, this the baffler .com review of that conference talks about meeting somebody who he identified with because they kind of reminded him of his mother. Anyway, it’s a good long read, but I definitely think it’s worth checking out. Maybe you’ll enjoy it like I did. All right. Excuse me. A harsher article that seems perhaps directly aimed, if not by naming, but… This is over at the EFR website. That’s the expandingfrontiersresearch .org website. That is, of course, the nonprofit organization founded by Erica Lukes there in Utah and Jack Brewer in Florida and other UFO researchers from around the country. And Jack Brewer has written this article called Hynek UFOs and PR. And I’d say it is kind of almost a shot across the bow against. archives such as our own, dare I say, the Anomaly Archives. He does not name the Anomaly Archives. He does not name the Rice University Archives Impossible. He does name, at the very end, David Marler and Company’s National UFO Historical Records Center archive there in Rio Rancho, Albuquerque, New Mexico, because of its recent announcements about being housed inside of a school.

Well, it’s a long essay. I just finished it today. I don’t disagree with some of it. And a lot of it is, I would say, taking a hard look at J. Allen Hynek from the perspective of did he do more harm than good? That’s one way to put it. Or just this idea of how sometimes advocates, proponents of investigation of UFO phenomena. can be disingenuous. Again, I certainly am familiar with people’s both revering of Hynek and their criticism of Hynek. This also rings true of my favorite UFO researcher, Dr. Jacques Vallée, who for some time spoke of his friend Hynek as his mentor, but was one of several mentors for Jacques Vallée. But Vallée also spoke critically of him in some ways as well. But this is an interesting, as I say, long exploration. I don’t agree with everything in it, but I certainly think it’s good to discuss these things. They do exchange information.

Jack Brewer has written this article with his correspondence with a man named Dr. Akers or Akers, A -K -E -R -S, who seems to have driven this dialogue between himself and Jack Brewer. But they do evolve quotes and engage with discussion with Mark O ‘Connell, who, of course, wrote the most famous book about J. Allen Hynek. But yeah, very interesting critique. And I will just add that, you know, Erica and Jack are going to be presenting as one of our monthly Anomaly Academy online lecture presentations in the coming months. I believe we’ve got them scheduled for October. And I’m really looking forward to it. I think that they do good work with the EFR Expanding Frontiers Research nonprofit. You know, it’s a different angle than a lot of other. advocacy and archiving that folks that I appreciate do, but I think they are equally important. And you can find a lot of other interesting information over at their expandingfrontiersresearch .org website. So lastly, as far as UFO stuff goes, there’s still a ton more of UFO news. If you go to the Flipboard, you’ll see tons of it there. But the New York Times has a podcast that you may have heard featuring, I don’t know how to pronounce this guy’s name, Ross Douthat. D -O -U -T -H -A -T. The podcast, I believe, is called Interesting Times. He recently got a lot of press because of his interviews of Peter Thiel, where they discussed the idea of the Antichrist. That got a lot of views and discussion spinning around it. Well, in this more recent interview, he talks to… Dr. Diana Walsh Pasulka about UFOs and her research into it. And it’s about an hour long interview and it gets a bit contentious. And I think that’s actually, again, great. I think in some ways he wasted her time and our time by his focus on government disclosure, which she repeatedly and very quickly up front says, that’s not what I’m interested in and I shy away. from focusing on that. And she tried to redirect his, his questioning towards, I think more important and interesting areas, but nonetheless, I still, I think she did a great job given the circumstance of, of Mr. Douthat’s inquisition.

Well, you can, you can watch the video. There’s a YouTube link, or you can listen to it on your favorite podcast. There is a transcript here at the New York Times dot com website that you can also read. I do think it’s worth your time and it is interesting. I am always interested to hear what Diana has to say, even if I, you know, don’t always agree with everything she says. But that’s true of almost anybody in this field. And again, I think it’s important to have these kinds of dialogue, even if they get a little contentious. All right, we’re going to take a break and have a very quick roundup here at the end. Hold tight.

All right, we’re back. Thank you for hanging with us. We’re almost done with tonight’s show. Again, you can find out more about the Anomaly Archives at our website, anomalyarchives .org. We’ve got a Patreon at patreon .com slash anomalyarchives. You can go to our Flipboard, find so many, many, many links. But really, the anomalyarchives .org website. is where you can find everything that launches off to everything else, including the show notes for tonight’s episode and all the past episodes and our blah, blah, blah. All so much more. Like, subscribe, hit the notification bell, all that good stuff. And you can also, we have a P .O. Box 152252 Austin, Texas 78715. That’s Anomaly Archives P .O. Box 152252 Austin, Texas 78715. All right.

Back to UFOs. Actually, no, we’re done with UFOs. That’s right. I’m going to talk about a few other things. Oh, what’s the first discussion? Consciousness, health, and mind -body connections. How about What Conflict is Teaching Me About Consciousness? By Beth Glick over at IntoIntuition. That’s IntoIntuition .substack .com. And I’m just going to quickly point you towards these. I haven’t had the chance necessarily to read all these, but… They seem like interesting places to go. And just at the beginning of this article here, she says, let me come clean. I recently spent three days in Houston at a UFO conference. Yep, that happened. Freeze frame. Let’s rewind to 2008. So, of course, she’s just talking about the Rice University Archives of the Impossible conference that was in Houston. That would be Rice University. Okay, and again, this is What Conflict is Teaching Me About Consciousness over at Beth Glick’s blog, Into Intuition. Also, we have over at consciousnessunbound .blogspot .com a trio of obvious miracles. This one about miracles. And this person gives three different descriptions of miracles,

person gives three different descriptions of miracles, the creation of the universe, dead matter coming to life, and living beings, agents of creative consciousness. So if you’re into that sort of thing, check that out. And speaking of miracles, as we’ve recently posted a rare audio lecture from Carolyn Miller. She spoke at the 1995 Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness Conference right after I spoke on my encounters with the fantastic, the transformative UFO paradigm. And I always found that speech to be very inspiring and interesting. And I, years ago, created a weird mashup video of it, as I liked to do back in the day, just random video images. In this case, I think it was Chariots of the Gods as a background video, but also sometimes layering music in the background. In this case, there’s music by Tortoise, Higher Intelligence Agency, and… LTG, LTJ .com. Anyway, you can go to the Anomaly Archives website and there’s all the links. Excuse me. Goodness gracious. There’s all kinds of links to the original raw audio with no music, no sound effects, just the raw audio of Carolyn giving her 20 minute presentation. And then a recently audio enhanced version. Like I said, the video version, which also has music. And oh, and there’s also a transcript of her lecture. So whether you like to just read stuff or you like to hear stuff, but without any distracting extra extraneous audio or music or video accompanying that, there’s something there for you. I think you’ll find this interesting. Her talk was called Creating Miracles, excuse me, Empirical Support for a Widely Accepted Method for Creating Miracles, which she presented again at the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness Conference at UC Berkeley in 1995. And then she wrote, she had just put out a book, Creating Miracles, Understanding the Experience of Divine Intervention. So check that out. Our good friend, Tim Banal over at coasttocoastam .com. Two brief articles linking to recent studies, Gallup Poll, Explorers, Americans, Paranormal Beliefs. As well as this other one, surveys explore British supernatural beliefs. So some interesting data there. Would it surprise you to learn that people believe in this stuff? Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, I’ll leave that up to you. Over at phys .org, that’s P -H -Y -S dot O -R -G. It’s that physics -oriented website. Humans, not glacial transport brought bluestones to Stonehenge, new research indicates. Yes, there’s long been discussion and conflict over whether the bluestone rocks that were used in the construction of Stonehenge were local or brought in from some other place. Stonehenge’s enduring mystery extends beyond the iconic standing stones that draw visitors from around the globe. Less celebrated yet central to archaeological debate are the smaller blue -hued megaliths known as bluestones. sourced from distant outcrops in Wales over 200 kilometers away. Many archaeologists have attributed their arrival on Salisbury Plain to deliberate human transport. Others have proposed that glacial ice carried them during a prehistoric advance. So yes, these aren’t actually about the Stonehenge circles, stones themselves, but these nearby quote -unquote blue stones. Let’s see. Lastly, over at politico .com in the conspiracy category. Researchers quietly planned a test to dim sunlight. They wanted to, quote, avoid scaring the public. Hundreds of documents show how researchers failed to notify officials in California about a test of technology to block the sun’s rays while they planned a much huger sequel. Huger?

The article starts by saying a team of researchers in California drew notoriety last year when an aborted experiment on a retired aircraft carrier that sought to test a machine for creating clouds. But behind the scenes, they were planning a much larger and potentially riskier study of saltwater spraying equipment that could eventually be used to dim the sun’s rays. A multimillion dollar project aimed at producing clouds over a stretch of ocean larger than Puerto Rico. The details outlined in funding requests, emails, texts, and other records obtained by Politico’s E &E News raise new questions about a secretive billionaire -backed initiative that oversaw last year’s brief solar geoengineering experiment on the San Francisco Bay. Yep.

Might want to check that out. I know we’ve reported on that aborted research before, but it looks like that Politico did their… journalistic due diligence and got a lot more information out into the public about this for, for whatever it’s worth. You know, I think geoengineering research is certainly worthy of looking into, but yeah, when they start talking about seeding clouds, it really starts sounding like the beginning of the matrix movies that leads to the AI takeover. Okay. Something I forgot. Something I forgot to mention during the UFO section, or rather the AI section at the top of the show, was there is this social media personality, Red Panda Koala. They are very active on X, aka Twitter, and other social media outlets. And Red Panda Koala often does really nice, concise clip collections when a particular subject is gaining newsworthiness. They’ll put together a bunch of clips that collect information that’s all related so that it’s all in one place, typically from multiple podcasts. There’s so many podcasts, so many news outlets, so much social media reportage going on. And I don’t watch a lot of this person’s stuff, but they recently published Five days ago, the flying saucer era brought to life. And I’m going to end the show with this. Thank you, Red Panda Koala. They are somebody, I think RPK, Red Panda Koala. I think they took these classic UFO flying saucer era photographs and put them through AI and animated them in a way that actually is pretty moving and interesting. So it’s a couple of minutes long and that’s just going to end the show. Thank you, Red Panda Koala and others and all the news outlets that we’ve linked to or made mention of. Here we go. This is the end of the show for July 30th, 2025. Good night.
