Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking

“Human trafficking is the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation.[1] Human trafficking can occur within a country or trans-nationally. It is distinct from people smuggling, which is characterized by the consent of the person being smuggled. Human trafficking is condemned as a violation of human rights by international conventions, but legal protection varies globally. The practice has millions of victims around the world.”

“Human trafficking is a public health issue that impacts individuals, families, and communities. Traffickers disproportionately target at-risk populations including individuals who have experienced or been exposed to other forms of violence (child abuse and maltreatment, interpersonal violence and sexual assault, community and gang violence) and individuals disconnected from stable support networks (runaway and homeless youth, unaccompanied minors, persons displaced during natural disasters).”

“In 2021, 10,359 situations of human trafficking were reported to the U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline involving 16,554 individual victims. Shocking as these numbers are, they are likely only a fraction of the actual problem.”

Online “Trafficking” / Child Pornography Rings (Busts & Investigations)

Foreword | Online child pornography is an unintended aspect of the widespread adoption of information and communications technologies. Child pornography involves the sexual abuse of children on a global basis. It appears that a once limited trade has seen remarkable growth, with the potential to intrude into the homes and workplaces of all those connected to the internet. Occasionally, exposure to this form of pornography may be unintended, but in most cases it is deliberately sought out, retained and traded worldwide. There have been many instances of law enforcement action, both locally and internationally, targeting those involved in the possession or distribution of online child pornography, some of which have involved thousands of suspects. This paper looks at 31 well-publicised operations and considers the law enforcement implications of these for future operations. It starts to fill a significant gap in our understanding of online child pornography.

Sex Trafficking

“Palm Beach attorney Spencer Kuvin represented several of Epstein’s victims and said that the release of these records is still very important to victims, nearly two decades later.

“A full accounting of what happened and how it occurred is significant to the victims because they don’t want it to happen to anyone ever again,” he said. “There was a huge amount of secrecy.”

The Palm Beach Post sued to have the records released.

The Palm Beach Police Department investigated Epstein’s actions, documenting dozens of cases in which girls and young women were recruited to give the multimillionaire massages that turned into sex acts.

After the Palm Beach grand jury was convened in 2006, Epstein’s case was taken up by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, but Epstein’s team was able to negotiate a plea deal with federal prosecutors that allowed Epstein to plead guilty in 2008 and serve his sentence in the Palm Beach County stockade, where Epstein was housed in a private section and given the ability to leave for multiple hours each day.”

“NEW YORK (AP) — The British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted Wednesday of luring teenage girls to be sexually abused by the American millionaire Jeffrey Epstein. The verdict capped a month long trial featuring sordid accounts of the sexual exploitation of girls as young as 14, told by four women who described being abused as teens in the 1990s and early 2000s at Epstein’s palatial homes in Florida, New York and New Mexico.”

“It was last October, and he had just come across a triage note that said, “I have a tracker in me.” … A group crowded around the computer to see her x-ray. “Embedded in the right side of her flank is a small metallic object only a little bit larger than a grain of rice,” he said. “But it’s there. It’s unequivocally there. She has a tracker in her. And no one was speaking for like five seconds — and in a busy ER that’s saying something.”

“According to John Doe 2’s declaration, “Mr. Prince knowingly hired two persons who were previously involved in the Kosovo sex trafficking ring to serve at relatively high-levels within his company.” He adds that “Mr. Prince’s North Carolina operations had an ongoing wife-swapping and sex ring, which was participated in by many of Mr. Prince’s top executives.””

“Since early 2021, according to the newspaper Gândul, police had suspected them of involvement in an international sex trafficking operation, and in April a complaint led them to discover a webcamming studio at the Tates’ property where women said they were being held against their will.” … “That Andrew Tate’s capture and potential charges for sex trafficking and rape might also be connected to pizza was a coincidence few could ignore. It was a supreme irony given Tate’s dabbling in post-Pizzagate type conspiracy theories, including the recent furor over the fashion brand Balenciaga‘s supposed involvement with Illuminati pedophiles. And it even provided a catchy rhyme: PizzaTate.”

Conspiracy Theories

“Elite news outlets – from Rolling Stone to the Guardian to the Washington Post – have launched a round of bizarre attacks against the movie, attempting to unfairly tie it to the weird world of repulsive Qanon conspiracies and, in so doing, betraying their own biases (let’s face it, this movie represents everything they hate, from religious faith to exposing trafficking across the border).”
