The Anomaly Archives Weekly Email Newsletter

April 15th, 2019 – Austin, Texas

Hello! Welcome to another installment of our free “weekly” email newsletter!

Image: Anne & Whitley Strieber Collection 1970-2016
at the Archives of the Impossible, Rice University.

We may be witnessing a new renaissance in anomalistic / para oriented public events. While rumors swirl about the activities and identities of anonymous “Invisible College” UFO researchers recently re-described in Dr. Diana Pasulka’s book American Cosmic, public organizations such as the Archives of the Impossible (formerly the GEM Archives [Gnosticism, Esotericism, and Mysticism]) at Rice University, Houston (within the Fondren Library’s Woodson Research Center – special collections) and the Anomaly Archives here in Austin, have been quietly working to archive the UFO scene’s private and public scientific research and popular literature. We’ve also seen the recent success of the SCU’s Scientific Conference on Anomalous Aerospace Phenomena held at the Rocket City Tavern in Huntsville, Alabama, near Redstone Arsenal and we are hoping the 38th annual Society for SSE‘s Scientific Exploration Conference (“Consilience: Developing the Foundations of a New Scientific Paradigm“) indicate a shift towards more scientific and academically accepted public events. Meanwhile, the more traditional, folksy festival type events continue to flourish and grow across the country.

Here are a mix of listings for, and news coverage of, these intriguing recent and upcoming events:

Beyond the many amazing news links in this week’s issue, there are several notable audio and video experiences I’ve had of late that I’d like to recommend to you…

First, with the annual liminal crossing over and into the Halloween / April Fool’s shenanigans-season, I want to encourage you to take a listen to Micah Hanks’ 2019 Festival of Fools’ episode of his Gralien Report radioshow:

If you have access to some of the common modern streaming services you can likely watch the fantastical Fortean natural science program offered by the BBC:

Aaron Gulyas continues doing a phenomenal job with his Saucer Life podcast. In this latest installment he briefly talks about the racist undertones in some modern ufological literature. This subterranean stream has long been discussed by Vallee and others (Erica Lukes and I briefly touched upon it in our recent interview) including MJ Banias and guest philosopher Bryan Sentes in one of MJ’s recent Cafe Obscura video hangouts (Abducting the Alt-Right: Race Politics and Paranormal Subcultures):

Meanwhile, my own DreamTime life has been influenced by the encroaching  reorientation  of perspective created by increased drone photography / reality as seen by me in recent episodes of that NDE (Near Death Experience) induced reality hopping Netflix series called “The OA” as well as a particular webisode of “The Chapter” which is a series on YouTube.  In years past I’ve written about how all forms of unnatural locomotion (from bicycles to  roller-skates to skateboards) can augment your perception of movement within your dreams, whether they be lucid or non-lucid. These two recent visual exposures to the drone as witness and plot / prop device successfully influenced and improved my own nightly dream flight (flying dream) movement. The third video below was unwatched (but noticed) by me before the dream-influencing…  but since watching it the music alone is enough to trigger a flashback to my recent drone-like flying dream:

Another video I’ve been looking forward to watching is this one featuring, narrated and produced by Dr. Greg Little about Edgar Cayce’s perspective on the Native American Mound Builders:

You might also enjoy listening to SMiles’ interview with Dr. Little from back in 2014.

Another flashback-as-possible-precognitive-flash-forward for this newsletter’s introductory editorial… I share with you Tim Binnall’s address to the 4th annual ParaMania Unconference attendees! The informal lectures were held at Expedition Bigfoot (The Sasquatch Museum) in Cherry Log, Georgia:

Who knows… perhaps ParaMania-5 will return the unconvention to its birth-state of Texas.

FLASHBACK to 2017 and…

Greg Bishop’s Epic Adventures

I’ve known author and researcher Greg Bishop since the early to mid 1990s when we met through the alt media zine scene.

Greg recently hosted ParaMania 2017 (Flashback to 2016 Premier) in Los Angeles, giving guests a tour of some of SoCal’s weirdest sights and experiences. The final night Greg and guests did a special informal freewheeling “after-party” round-table discussion live on his Radio Misterioso show. The relaxed and intriguing conversations were made even more interesting by one of ParaMania’s founding members “calling-in” from 30,000 feet! This ParaMania attendee was flying home that night but managed to use the airline’s inflight wifi to stream the show AND skype-call live into the program! You can listen to that epic show at Greg’s Radio Misterioso website (MP3 podcast archive).

FLASHBACK to 2018 and…

May 29th, 2018 – Austin, Texas

Greetings everyone!

It’s taken me even longer than usual to get this latest newsletter “out the door” and into your inbox. We’ve been hard at work unpacking the books onto our new shelves and moving more of the remaining materials from our off-site locations over into our new location. We’ve had our first board meeting in the new space and added a new Advisory Board member – more on that soon.

At the end of last month, between the previous eNews issue and this one, I took a vacation to the 3rd annual ParaMania UnConference in New Orleans and met up with broadcasters / podcasters Tim Binnall and Greg Bishop, as well as researchers / writers Joshua Cutchin and Kenn Thomas while also seeing a gaggle of dear para-interested UFOlk friends, including artist and writer RPJ aka Red Pill Junkie. At the end of that celebration, Tim Binnall did a live webcast saying farewell to his Binnall-of-America interview podcast formula that he’d been conducting since 2005. Check out the archived podcast and reflective article here:

Finally, I’ve been experiencing ever increasing levels of synchronicity between anomalous news headlines crossing my path and my personal life. My interest in Native American mound culture has been bruised in sympathy for those effected by this week’s Caddo Mound tornado touchdown and the failure of Austin queso to safely land on the moon.  Terrible tragedies are befalling our fellow global family members all around us while strangely surreal synchronicity often abounds, throwing our emotions intro extremes of juxta-superposition.

Still, we strive to continue our forward momentum.

Book Of The Week

Tom Slick and the Search for the Yeti

by Loren Coleman

Tells the story of the Texas millionaire’s search for the Abominable Snowman, detailing his expeditions between 1956 and 1959 and his pursuit of Bigfoot from 1959 until his death in 1962, uncovering evidence and information thought to be lost…”

“This true story of Texas millionaire Tom Slick’s quest for the Abominable Snowman and other cryptids–creatures unknown to science–reveals a life made for the movies. Fascinating stories of Slick’s early brushes with adventure such as his stepfather’s abduction by George “”Machine Gun”” Kelly in 1933 and his creation of a research facility near Loch Ness are followed by his later expeditions into Nepal and the Pacific Northwest in search of the yeti and its counterpart, the Sasquatch. The story of Slick’s amazing, fanatic, and driven search for the stuff of legends takes readers on a whirlwind journey from the dense temperate rainforests of Washington State to the icy peaks of the Himalayas–and shows that sometimes cryptids leave the halls of the imagination and are found and captured, as proved by the giant panda and the Komodo dragon, leaving readers to wonder what more there is to be discovered.”

“Thomas Baker “Tom” Slick, Jr. (May 6, 1916 – October 6, 1962) was a San Antonio, Texas-based inventor, businessman, adventurer, and heir to an oil and beef empire established by his father in the Southwest. As I have chronicled, Slick’s sponsorship of cryptozoology expeditions in the late 1950s and early 1960s was pivotal to the young science.

Quantum Photonics: The Connection Between Biophotonic Energy & Consciousness with Matthew DeBow

In this presentation, Matt DeBow poses the question, “Is there a connection between the higher aspects of consciousness and biophotonic energy?” He then proceeds to connect the dots between biophotons and the dimensional aspects of human consciousness.

Science is only beginning to understand quantum fields. DeBow believes these fields are directly related to human biology and have a specific geometrical form with a deeper purpose. These energy fields exist within the physical realm (even though for the most part they are undetectable), but they simultaneously manifest on another plane of existence just outside of perception. They are also part of a universal matrix of consciousness to which we are all connected.

This presentation offers a model to explain both the human bio-dimensional energetics of which we are a part and their relation to the quantum field within which we exist. DeBow’s intent is to describe recognizable patterns of the dynamic structures of our energy fields, with the goal of driving a new paradigm in spiritual understanding and evolution.

Matt DeBow is an author, inventor, public speaker and innovative leader. Much of his career has involved marketing, business development and management. Matt has been a columnist for the Psychic Reader monthly newspaper in California, has been involved with the coordination of conventions and symposiums, and produced a monthly lecture series for several years. Recently, Matt has moved into medical device design and manufacturing with his release of LuxWaves photobiological light therapy devices, a naturopathic healing system.

For his first book “LIGHT: Health Benefit & Medical Applications,” DeBow interviewed experts from the FDA, NASA, UT, Harvard, Stanford, and Berkeley, as well as leading developers, medical doctors, sports therapists and Olympic trainers. In 2015, DeBow released his second book, “Soul Code: Near-Death experiences, Pre-Conception Memories, Transformative Spiritual Events, Life-Between-life Regression, Induced After Death Communication.”

The Anomaly Archives Weekly Email Newsletter

March 21st, 2019 – Austin, Texas

Greetings everyone…

smiles lewisThere is always so much going on that I’d like to explore and comment upon but alas, there aren’t enough hours in my day – if only the Anomaly Archives were my “day job.” Suffice to say I urge you to comb through this issue’s many items of interest; from the Video-of-the-Week and Cargo-Culture columns to the amazing array of Anomalous-Headlines.

There’s a good article about the Mystery Hum in the news (see my past lecture on my own personal experience and research) plus news on a study showing humans can sense electromagnetic fields.

We survived another week+ of crazed crowds as well as the requisite increase in traffic and violence (to a level we’ve never seen before) caused by the massive influx of people as part of Austin’s annual SXSW media / music festival. Among the raft of movie premieres at this year’s festivities were “Becoming Leslie,” the “Documentary of [a] man who was the epitome of keeping Austin weird…” and “J.R. ‘Bob’ Dobbs and the Church of the SubGenius,” the documentary that Looks at a Religious Hoax.

Meanwhile there are several articles linked in the news section below detailing the Momo/YouTube parental-panic, loads of links to new books and reviews, yet more articles chronicling the unfolding AATIP / TTSA saga including Luis Elizondo’s recent presentation – “UFOs ARE Real” – at the SCU’s Scientific Conference on Anomalous Aerospace Phenomena held at the Rocket City Tavern in Huntsville, Alabama, near Redstone Arsenal, the History channel’s launch of the new To The Stars Academy series Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation. There is so much I’d like to say about these developments but for now I’ll just quote Red Pill Junkie from his latest Daily Grail article, UFO Programming, TTSA, Techgnosis & Hyperreality:

RPJ Red Pill Junkie     “It bears repeating that TTSA’s connection with the US Intelligence world should not be overlooked… Whenever the CIA or other agencies get involved in the production of a UFO documentary, some subrosa agenda is always embedded…

A TTSA series might be utilized as a tool to manipulate public opinion so it aligns with some hidden agenda. An agenda that might seek to sell UFOs to the American public as a technological ‘threat’ which should be urgently studied –and even harnessed if possible– lest the Chinese and the Russians beat them to it.

TTSA has never hidden its purpose to mass produce entertainment content intended to ‘educate’ the public about the reality of UFO phenomenon. From Robbie’s perspective, we could say they seek to manipulate the ‘hyperreality’ of UFOs according to their goals, and they will use all their tools at their disposal –History Channel’s distribution, CGI cinematics, compelling testimonies of credible witnesses– to do so.”

Video-of-the-Week:

We’ve finally posted the videos from December’s OPEN HOUSE Event, with a 30 minute introduction to the Anomaly Archives by SMiles Lewis and two hour video of Nick Redfern‘s lecture, Top Secret Alien Abduction Files: What the Government Doesn’t Want You to Know, including a half-hour Question-and-Answer session with special Dulce-New-Mexico-Mystery-Black-Helicopter story from San Antonio journalist, Ed Conroy (author of the fantastic book, Report on Communion)! These videos aren’t perfect – there are some audio and video issues – but we know you’ll enjoy these phenomenal presentations.

COMING SOON: More videos to be posted soon, including Barbara MacLeod’s epic State-Shamanism presentation, past lectures and interviews with late Texas paranormal-Bigfoot researcher Rob Riggs, and many more! All to be featured at the Anomaly Archives YouTube Channel.

PLUS: Don’t forget there are loads of new videos being posted at the Institute for Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies (INACS) YouTube Channel.

Cargo-Culture:

Anomaly Archives board member, Jeremy Wells, is a journalist writing for the Grayson Journal-Enquirer in Grayson, Kentucky. One of his latest articles can be found in the Spring 2019 edition of the Olive Hill Quarterly. It’s about Seth Breedlove’s latest project from his Small Town Monsters productions (YouTube channel), called On the Trail of Bigfoot. The article, Exploring Reports From The Pacific Northwest To The TriState, can be read online (pages 14-19). If you are truly deeply interested in the subject of CryptoZoology and Bigfoot in America, we highly recommend Jeremy’s more in-depth interview with Seth Breedlove available on YouTube, which we feature as our Cargo-Culture feature for this installment of the Anomaly Archives newsletter, below.

All of this Bigfootery reminds us of the excellent presentation that Jeremy gave to our Anomaly Archives audience back a couple of years ago … this flashback below also features links to the SasWhat podcast episode from two years ago in which a different Seth talks with Texas based bigfoot research org memebers from NAWAC about the infamous Area-X that Jeremy talks about with Seth (Breedlove) in our Cargo Culture feature video…

FLASHBACK March 2016: Bigfoot reports & southern habitats . . .

Anomaly Archives Board Member Jeremy Wells will be presenting / discussing Bigfoot reports and habitat in East Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. Jeremy currently works as a freelance writer, editor, and training specialist in the video game industry and served as a researcher and field investigator with the Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy (now NAWAC – North American Wood Ape Conservancy). We hope you’ll join us for this sure to be interesting and educational lecture.

[NOTE: This is not an official presentation by NAWAC – though I highly recommend there work. If you’d like to learn more about their efforts, visit their website and take a listen to this recent episode of the SasWhat podcast.]

Episode 84: Talking Area X (again) and Apes with Brian Brown – This week Seth sits down with Brian Brown to talk about the latest happenings with the NAWAC and their recent experiences in Area X. If you’ve been itching to hear what activity has been taking place inside the Ouachitas this past Winter then this is the episode for you! Special thanks to our listeners for submitting the bulk of the questions used in this episode.

Book-of-the-Week:

Another rare old book from the Bob Girard Collection… this one from the early 1800s on the enigma of Stonehenge – and with an amazingly psychedelic cover print… this little gem is so cool that we showed it off at last year at our Austin Archives Bazaar booth and our Open House event.

Until next issue…

SMiles Lewis gives an introductory overview of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Scientific Anomaly Institute (Anomaly Archives) as part of the opening ceremonies for the Open House event for both the archives and its partner organization, INACS (Institute for Neuroscience And Consciousness Studies). This Open House event featured introductions to INACS by board president Bob Price, SAI founder and president SMiles Lewis, featured guest speaker Nick Redfern, tours of the new facility, and Holiday Celebration Party afterwards.

In this introduction, Miles gives some brief background on himself and what led him to found the Anomaly Archives in 2003. He describes some of the various donated collections that comprise the thousands of books and periodicals (plus paper files, digital / web files etc.) held within the Anomaly Archives.

He also briefly describes the various past locations of the Anomaly Archives while also describing the mission / goals and activities of the nonprofit.

Miles gives thanks to the many people he’s met along the way who have helped him with the organization through their volunteerism, donated collections, and more.

The many historic anomalous incidents that have occurred across the state of Texas are touched upon; from famous cryptid sightings (Bigfoot, Lake Worth Monster, etc.) to famous UFO sightings like the Cash-Landrum close encounter, Ray Stanford’s Blue Book “Unidentified” case from Austin’s Mansfield Dam, and local experiencers like San Antonio’s Whitley Strieber, and other abductees across Texas.

Talking “On The Trail Of Bigfoot”
with Seth Breedlove

“Journalist Jeremy D. Wells discusses the new “On the Trail of Bigfoot” mini-series, from Small Town Monsters, with writer and producer Seth Breedlove.

NOTES: I mistakenly say Daryl Colyer had his first Bigfoot sighting along the Pedernales River. Colyer has confirmed that it was actually along the Trinity River where a large, red (the color of dead pine needles), hair-covered creature crossed the path in front of him. This interview was initially the basis for a magazine article and review of the “On the Trail of Bigfoot” series. Though there are things in the audio that Breedlove asked me not to focus on in that story, or to keep “off the record”, he has given his permission to use the complete, unedited audio of our interview.”

Video-of-the-Week:

Last issue we announced the return of new videos from our INACS partners and the vids just keep on coming! INACS recently released the video for physicist, Thomas Campbell’s legendary first North American lecture and workshop on his Big TOE (Theory Of Everything) ideas. This video has been 10-years in the making (long story…). This is the lecture portion of this historic INACS event from a decade ago and video of the workshop may soon follow. See below for details…

If you missed last month’s (Tuesday, February 19th) IONS Austin (Co-Sponsored by INACS) presentation by physicist Sirley Bonham on Self-Experiments with Consciousness and Hypnagogia: A scientist’s personal exploration of consciousness at the threshold of sleep and beyond at its Meetup … well you can now watch the archived video presentation by Sirley Marques Bonham, Ph.D. and see her share her personal experiences with Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Remote Viewing, Spiritual Insights and more! Meetup link for more details.

More new videos are being posted at the INACS’ YouTube Channel:
Institute for Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies (INACS)

Cargo-Culture:

Yet more videos in this issue… this time it’s a music-video from the delirious duo of Les Claypool and Sean Lennon. This fanciful “Terry Gilliamesque” animated video is so much fun – incorporating imagery of Rocketry, Sex Magicians Crowley, Parsons, and Hubbard, Flying Saucers and More – I just had to share. If you are unfamiliar with the idea of Crowley’s magical workings ripping open a dimensional doorway and ushering in the birth of the modern UFO era … you should read Adam Gorightly’s classic, Ritual Magic, Mind Control and the UFO Phenomenon. Gorightly says:

“In Sex and Rockets, Carter quotes Crowley successor Kenneth Grant, who wrote, “The [Babalon] Working began…just prior to the wave of unexplained aerial phenomena now recalled as the ‘Great Flying Saucer Flap’. Parsons opened a door and something flew in.” Carter also suggests it might have been the atomic bomb that opened this door between dimensions. He then further illustrates the importance of the year 1947, which ended the first stage of the Babalon Working, as Parsons and Hubbard parted ways amid a cloud of turmoil. 1947 was the year that the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. In that very same year, Israel became a nation state, the transistor was invented and the sound barrier broken. Last, but certainly not least, the Modern Age of UFO’s flew into view with the Kenneth Arnold sightings, followed not long after by the alleged saucer crash in Roswell, New Mexico. 1947 was also the year the Great Beast, Aleister Crowley died.”

– AdamGorightly.com

Coming up next issue we should have videos from our December Open House event with organizational introduction by SMiles Lewis and lecture plus QnA with our featured guest speaker, Nick Redfern on his book, Top Secret Alien Abduction Files.

American CosmicBook-of-the-Week:

We recently received our copies of religious studies professor, Diana Walsh Pasulka’s new book, American Cosmic. I’ve been anxiously waiting to read it for some time and thoroughly enjoyed it. I plan on saying more about it soon, but for now, check it out – it is our Book of the Week! Chek out the links to her many recent interviews in the Book-of-the-Week section below…

Thomas Campbell: Consciousness and the Larger Reality; The Inside Story

New Videos from INACS

From INACS President, Bob Price:

“To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Thomas Campbell’s first North American lecture and workshop (in Austin Texas), and to honor the legions of folks who were unable to attend but have requested a video of the event for years, I’m pleased to announce the video of Tom’s presentation is now available!  (As to why it took ten years to release the video–it’s a long boring story that I’d be glad to tell you over a beer some day ;->!)

During this lecture as well as the ensuing workshop, Tom discusses the ideas brought forth in his 3-volume Big T.O.E. (Theory of Everything), including the unifying connections between physics and consciousness.  Tom takes a deep dive into everything you always wanted to know about consciousness and reality–discovery, awakening, and the inner workings of philosophy, physics, and metaphysics.

For those of you who are already familiar with Tom and his work, just click here to watch this amazing video: https://youtu.be/ojw0L6jZagk Hope you enjoy it!  Don’t forget to subscribe to our youTube channel, check out our other videos, and leave feedback!

For those of you who do not (yet) know Tom and his work:

Thomas Campbell is a physicist, lecturer, and author of the My Big T.O.E. (Theory of Everything) trilogy, a work that attempts to unify general relativity, quantum mechanics, and metaphysics along with the origins of consciousness.

Tom began researching altered states of consciousness with Bob Monroe (Journeys Out Of The Body, Far Journeys, and The Ultimate Journey) at Monroe Laboratories in the early 1970s where he and a few others were instrumental in getting Monroe’s laboratory for the study of consciousness up and running. These early drug-free consciousness pioneers helped design experiments, developed the technology for creating specific altered states, and were the main subjects of study (guinea pigs) all at the same time. Campbell has been experimenting with, and exploring the subjective and objective mind ever since. For the past thirty years, Campbell has been focused on scientifically exploring the properties, boundaries, and abilities of consciousness.

My Big TOE is a model of existence and reality that is based directly on Campbell’s scientific research and first hand experience. It represents the results and conclusions of thirty years of careful scientific exploration of the boundaries and contents of reality from both the physical and metaphysical viewpoints. Tom has made every effort to approach his explorations without bias or preconceived notions. There is no belief system, dogma, creed, or unusual assumptions at the root of My Big TOE.

By demanding high quality repeatable, empirical, evidential data to separate what’s real (exists independently and externally) from what’s imaginary or illusory; Campbell has scientifically derived this general model of reality.

You can learn more about Tom Campbell and his Big TOE at: www.mybigTOE.com.

The Anomaly Archives Weekly Email Newsletter

February 16th, 2019 – Austin, Texas

“Technology is great – when it works!”

So so sorry for the delay in getting another edition out to all of our wonderful email newsletter subscribers. We have been struggling with website and email related issues for the past month and a half. We sent out a test email to subscribers back on February 3rd but about a fourth of our subscribers (pretty much everyone with a Yahoo, Gmail, or AOL email address) did not receive the test and it appears we’ve been blacklisted and have had no luck trying to fix the situation. And some of those who received the test email said it had gone into their spam / junk folders.

If you can help with these issues please contact me. Thank you!

In the meantime, we’re just forging ahead as best we can… if you receive this from a different email address than usual – ScientificAnomalyInstitute@Gmail.com for instance – it is likely because we could tell from the MailChimp reports that you didn’t get it through our normal method of sending the newsletter and we are trying to send it to you via the old-fashioned way… through an alternate Anomaly Archives email addy.

We will also be trying to post this edition to the website as we always do but in a faster fashion.

And did you know, you can subscribe to the website by using the “Subscribe to Blog via Email” function built into the website. If you go to any page on AnomalyArchives.org you can see a widget in the right-hand sidebar just below the Anomaly Archives logo that says:

“Subscribe to Blog via Email

Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.”

… and then below that is a field to enter your email addy and then an orange “Subscribe” button.

We’re going to keep trying to fix this email newsletter problem but as they say, the show must go on! And what a show we are living through; we certainly live in “Interesting Times”. So many amazing news articles and new videos and books are coming out it hard to stay on top of it all.

Below you will find the now several weeks old email newsletter that was ready to send out quite some time ago … we’ve updated the news-links section but not added any more specific news items to the editorial below, though there are several amazing gems we hope you notice and take the time to discover more.

Well, until next time, keep watching the website and try to keep track of us in whatever way you can: our website, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.

Book Of The Week

Self-Experiments with Consciousness and Hypnagogia:

A scientist’s personal exploration of consciousness at the threshold of sleep and beyond

by Sirley Marques Bonham, Ph.D.

Tom Campbell – noted Physicist and author of “My Big Toe” writes in the Foreword of Sirley’s new book .. “There are thousands of reports of psi events that have been experienced by credible individuals and competent researchers during the last two hundred years but none have developed an overarching model that explains everything (normal and paranormal)…. What is needed, what Dr. Bonham seeks is a new perspective, a new way of looking at reality that circumvents the materialistic perspective that has so completely dominated thinking in science as well as in Western culture generally.”

“This book tells about the author’s personal experience with subjective phenomena of the human mind and consciousness, with special emphasis on phenomena perceived at the threshold of sleep and wakefulness, known as hypnopompic and hypnogogic experiences (or in short “hypnagogia”), which she considers quite special, as it will allow a person to maintain awareness, or lucidity, while the physical body falls asleep, therefore having the chance to explore out-of-body experiences and lucid dreams. However, it is not all about out-of-body experiences or lucid dreams, as she tells about her personal experiences from her involvement with esoteric philosophy and the Brazilian spiritism, and discusses several special issues from the development of her knowledge on other subjects, like for example remote viewing, starting with her involvement with the Society for Scientific Exploration where she met with the first explorers and the initiators of remote viewing research. The author also improved her knowledge of the mind through her involvement with neuroscience, as well as psychological theories of cognition, and research on memory and learning. Her personal experiences also lead her to study the literature on the subject of bio-energetic phenomena (the so-called Kundalini phenomena) and other interesting areas that address the subjective phenomena of the mind in many forms. One important subject discussed is that of “sleep paralysis,” which can produce problematic hypnagogias. In fact she has published a scientific paper, along with Jean-Christophe Terrillon, on recurrent sleep paralysis, which has been widely referred in the literature on this subject, after its publication by the Journal of Scientific Exploration in 2001. This paper is included in the book as an appendix, due to its importance in helping people suffering from this condition. Finally, this book assesses the present panorama with personal subjective experiences in general, which the author strongly believes may produce important developments in the understanding of the mind and consciousness in general, consequently increasing the possibility of experiencing the worlds beyond the physical, or beyond death.”

Creating Vibrant Health with Dowsing and Radionics, Pt 1, featuring Ned Wolf

Sunday, May 27th, 2018, 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Presented at INACS’ new office and conference space:
55 North IH-35, Austin, TX 78702, 2nd fl Training Rm

In this presentation, we explore the ancient art of dowsing as well as the dynamics of creating vibrant health and healing with dowsing and radionics. In so doing, we expand our awareness of the true power of healing that resides within each of us. Radionics is a healing technique in which our natural intuitive faculties are used both to discover the energetic disturbances underlying illness and to encourage the return of an energetic field that supports good health. In trained hands, dowsing and radionic treatment can be helpful in enhancing wellness and treating a wide range of conditions.

As beings of energy, we can benefit greatly from mastering the ancient art of dowsing. As a tool, dowsing is an effective discipline for melding our intellectual with our intuitive consciousness. This process enhances both types of consciousness and through it we become more tuned into the messages that originate from the subtle realms of reality.

This ancient practice of dowsing can also been used to expand our perceptual mechanisms and to replace superstitious and distorted thinking with clear perceptions of the many layers of reality in which we exist.

About our speaker: Ned Wolf is an author, counselor, natural healer, and musician. Ned has written a number of books, including Awaken Your Power To Heal, published in 1999. That was followed by a book of poetry called Sailing On A Banshee Wind and Floraporna, a collection of macrophotography featuring Western Australian flowers. In his latest works, the Nandia Trilogy, Ned illuminates through a magical adventure how each of us is here to express our unique contribution to humankind’s collective growth and evolution.

In his healing work, Ned uses vibrational therapies that are produced radionically, including Reiki energy, as well as rebirthing breathwork.

When Ned was eight years old, a water dowser showed him how to find water using twin L-shaped dowsing rods. Later, he was trained in the use of a pendulum and today he teaches classes not only in medicinal dowsing, but also Reiki counseling and the use of mediation skills.

Ned Wolf lives in Northern Arizona on the banks of twin lakes that overlook a national forest. In his spare time, Ned is a tennis enthusiast, practices Tai Chi, pursues his passion for playing and singing music and enjoys caring for the wide variety of wildlife that come calling at his back door. An avid student of Jane Roberts’ Seth books, he enjoys dreamtime work as well as creating opportunities for himself and others to expand their creative expressions.

Investigating Mediums with Julie Beischel
New Thinking Allowed
with Jeffrey Mishlove

“Julie Beischel, PhD, is the co-founder and Director of Research at the Windbridge Research Center, a nonprofit dedicated to performing rigorous scientific research and creating educational materials on the topics of dying, death, and what comes next. She received her doctorate in Pharmacology and Toxicology with a minor in Microbiology and Immunology. She is author of Investigating Mediums. Her website is windbridge.org.

Here she describes her research approach, working with mediums whom she treats as partners in her investigations. She discusses her quintuple-blind protocols that have provided clear evidence that mediums are able to provide information regarding deceased persons about whom they had no previous knowledge. She also refers to many interpersonal factors involved in studying mediums. Additionally she discusses physiological factors. “

Happy New Year! Here’s to 2019… and BEYOND!

Here’s wishing you all the best for the New Year!

Open-House / Lecture / Holiday Party

A couple of Saturdays ago, on December 8th, 2018 … We hosted our first Open House with tours of the new facility, a lecture by Nick Redfern on his new book (Top Secret Alien Abduction Files) and a Holiday Party afterwards. We had a wonderful time at this multifaceted event. A full-house greeted our guest speaker Nick Redfern after Bob Price and SMiles Lewis gave introductions to our respective organizations. These talks were recorded and should be available soon at our website and YouTube channel. In the meantime you can view a few photos at the Website.
Videos-of-the-Week:

Besides videos of Nick Redfern’s recent talk and SMiles Lewis’ organizational introduction lecture coming soon, we’ll also be posting video of Barb MacLeod’s Mayan-State-Sponsored-Shamanism presentation from last year as well as our archival footage of Texas’s ParaCryptozoologist Treasure: Rob Riggs. And there is more to come…

In the meantime, here is video of SMiles Lewis’ presentation to the Anomaly Archives monthly meetup circa September 2017 about his February 2016 Mystery Hum Experience.

PLUS, another Cargo Culture video… As a close friend was leaving the other night, something in our conversation sparked his memory of a pop song dealing with themes of suppressed experience … about an abduction that was really a close encounter portending utopian future realities, thousands of creatures in cities of light without hate … but the man is pressured by the powers-that-be to: Keep it dark!

Book-of-the-Week

This week’s selection is a book that I’ve recently read, cover to cover, over the holiday weekend. I’ve not read a physical book this fast in years. I’ve been wanting to read this book for several several years and so it felt good to kick back with a more fast and loose narrative storytelling tome than stodgier types of nonfiction. It explores paranoid themes of gang stalking, possible covert government / military / law enforcement / corporate espionage, hi-tech R & D exploitation of “invisible” people by “invisible midgets” a la the invisibility cloak suit of the alien in the Predator movies. I recall the wave of negative comments in the online Fortean Times forum about the featured cover article that promoted the book. Regardless of the veracity of the book’s most spectacular claims, it is an excellent launching pad for more discussion and an entertaining read by an author / researcher of whom more people should be aware.

Until next issue…

Song by Genesis
Lyrics
Found that man reported missing,
He wandered in his home.
It don’t seem to bad if you consider
Just what he’s been through.
Seems he met up with a gang of thieves,
Who mistook him for a man of means,
They locked him up then found he had no money,
So they let him go again.
Now he’s back at home and happy
Just to see the kids.

I wish that I could really tell you
All the things that happened to me
And all that I have seen.
A world full of people their hearts full of joy,
Cities of light with no fear of war,
And thousands of creatures with happier lives,
And dreams of a future with meaning and no need to hide.

Oh, keep it dark.

It seems strange to have to lie,
About a world so bright.
And tell instead a made-up story,
From the world of night.

I wish, that I could really tell you,
All the things that happened to me
And all that I have seen,
A world full of people their hearts full of joy,
Cities of light with no fear of war,
And thousands of creatures with happier lives,
And dreams of a future with meaning and no need to lie,
No need to hate,
No need to hide.

Oh, keep it dark.

Songwriters: Michael Rutherford / Phil Collins / Tony Banks
Keep It Dark lyrics © Concord Music Publishing LLC

Song information

A light rock song, it describes a man who has been to the future and has seen a bright, happy world where everyone is filled with joy, cities are filled with light, with no fear of war, and all exploitation has ceased as all creatures have happier lives. Once he returns, however, he is pressured to lie about the incident (i.e., to “keep it dark”). Instead he claims that he was kidnapped by thieves who wanted to take his money.[citation needed]. The cover depicts the three wise monkeys.

In the DVD interview accompanying the 2007 re-release of Abacab, the album from which the song comes, composer Tony Bankssaid that “the idea was that this character had to pretend that he’d just been robbed by people and that’s why he’d disappeared for a few weeks, and in fact what had happened [was] he’d been to the future and gone to this fantastic world where everything was wonderful and beautiful and everything… but he couldn’t tell anybody that, because no one would believe him and the powers that be kept him silent.”[citation needed]

The song’s structure is unusual: the rhythm is in a 6/4 time signature, with a distinctly syncopated rhythm guitar part. Lead singer Phil Collins sings in falsetto for certain lines of the song.[citation needed] The pace overall, particularly the drums, is similar to the album’s title track.

Music video

A music video supported the single release of the song, featuring Collins, Tony Banks, and Rutherford in two different settings. In the first and second verses and the fade out, the band walks along bleak city streets (in Amsterdam) wearing trenchcoats and fedoras. When the chorus comes in, it shifts to the band wearing all-white suits and sunglasses, and walking through a field, with the sun shining. In both settings, Banks mimes with a mini Casio keyboard and Rutherford with the neck from a guitar, while Collins keeps the beat of the song with drumsticks, mostly hitting air, or the walls of the Amsterdam houses.

Book Of The Week

Chameleo:

A Strange But True Story of Invisible Spies, Heroin Addiction, and Homeland Security

by Robert Guffey

“A mesmerizing mix of Charles Bukowski, Hunter S. Thompson, and Philip K. Dick, Chameleo is a true account of what happened in a seedy Southern California town when an enthusiastic and unrepentant heroin addict named Dion Fuller sheltered a U.S. Marine who’d stolen night vision goggles and perhaps a few top secret files from a nearby military base.

Dion found himself arrested (under the ostensible auspices of The Patriot Act) for conspiring with international terrorists to smuggle Top Secret military equipment out of Camp Pendleton. The fact that Dion had absolutely nothing to do with international terrorists, smuggling, Top Secret military equipment, or Camp Pendleton didn’t seem to bother the military. He was released from jail after a six-day-long Abu-Ghraib-style interrogation. Subsequently, he believed himself under intense government scrutiny — and, he suspected, the subject of bizarre experimentation involving “cloaking”— electro-optical camouflage so extreme it renders observers practically invisible from a distance of some meters — by the Department of Homeland Security. Hallucination? Perhaps — except Robert Guffey, an English teacher and Dion’s friend, tracked down and interviewed one of the scientists behind the project codenamed “Chameleo,” experimental technology which appears to have been stolen by the U.S. Department of Defense and deployed on American soil. More shocking still, Guffey discovered that the DoD has been experimenting with its newest technologies on a number of American citizens.

A condensed version of this story was the cover feature of Fortean Times Magazine (September 2013). “

And a version of the interview appeared in UFO Magazine as “To See The Invisible Man”: PDF @Archive.org

“Official music video for the single “Cloudbusting” written, produced and performed by the British singer Kate Bush. It was the second single released from her no.1 1985 album Hounds of Love. “Cloudbusting” peaked at no.20 in the UK Singles Chart. The music video, directed by Julian Doyle, was conceived by Terry Gilliam and Kate Bush. The video features Canadian actor Donald Sutherland playing the role of Wilhelm Reich, and Bush playing the part of his young son, Peter.”

From the Anomaly Archives August 2004 eNews:

My Favorite Songs About Anomalous Phenomena, UFOs and General Weirdness

The other day, I pointed out to a dear friend how British vocalist Kate Bush, beyond writing and singing songs about paranormal topics, is rumored to have been a real life “ufo investigator” over in Great Britain. We were discussing the Kate Bush songs Cloudbusting (based on a dream by Wilhelm Reich’s son) and Experiment IV which I was bringing up because of a recent news article on Israel’s use of supposedly non-lethal sound weapons for riot control. See sidebar below right …

While discussing Kate Bush’s inspiration for her Wilhelm Reich song, my friend discovered that both Kate Bush and Patti Smith are authors of songs inspired by Peter Reich’s A Book of Dreams. Patti Smith recorded a song called Birdland that is “about Wilhelm Reich coming back for his son in a UFO“.

Over the years all my friends with interest in subjects like UFOs, Aliens, Ghosts etc. have collected and shared a vast array of music archiving the various musical mileus that have been touched by the Saucers and their paranormal occupants. Compilations with names like The Saucers Singand Surely Nothing Human Could… From that huge collection of music memorabilia are a few of my favorites…

I still dream of orgonon
I wake up crying
You’re making rain
And you’re just in reach
When you and sleep escape me
You’re like my yo-yo
That glowed in the dark
What made it special
Made it dangerous
So I bury it
And forget
But every time it rains
You’re here in my head
Like the sun coming out
Ooh, I just know that something good is going to happen
And I don’t know when
But just saying it could even make it happen
On top of the world
Looking over the edge
You could see them coming
You looked too small
In their big, black car
To be a threat to the men in power
I hid my yo-yo
In the garden
I can’t hide you
From the government
Oh, god, daddy
I won’t forget
‘Cause every time it rains

Book Of The Week

Thieves in the Night:
A Brief History of Supernatural Child Abductions

by Joshua Cutchin

“Folklore has always warned of hidden dangers lurking in the shadows, otherworldly beings who seek to steal that which parents hold most dear. In the first book dedicated solely to the subject, Joshua Cutchin traces this primal concern from antiquity to the modern era—beginning with worldwide tales of faeries, changelings, spirits, demons, and monsters, before examining more contemporary phenomena such as Sasquatch kidnappings, alien abductions, and mysterious disappearances in national parks. Folklore, medicine, science, and spirituality come together for a uniquely scholarly perspective on the thieves in the night.”

About our Featured Speaker and Lecture Topic…

Nick Redfern works full time as a writer, lecturer, and journalist. He writes about a wide range of unsolved mysteries, including Bigfoot, UFOs, the Loch Ness Monster, alien encounters, and government conspiracies. Nick has written many books, including the subject of his lecture: Top Secret Alien Abduction Files: What the Government Doesn’t Want You to Know

For decades, people have reported close encounters with extraterrestrial entities. Witnesses describe being kidnapped by large-headed, black-eyed creatures from other worlds. Those same creatures have become popularly known as “the Grays.” There is, however, another aspect to the alien abduction controversy.
