Welcome back to another edition of the Anomaly Archives eNews. The UFO/UAP whistleblower headlines just keep coming, and it would seem there is growing bipartisan support for government disclosure of UFO information. In the last few weeks there has been more activity including Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senator Mike Rounds (R-SD) introducing an amendment (July 14) to the National Defense Authorization Act mandating anamolous phenomena reports to  “carry the presumption of disclosure.”

“The amendment will be modeled on the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992 which required that documents regarding the Kennedy Assassination be made public no later than 25 years later after enactment.” – Young.Senate.Gov

The actual amendment states that the, “Purpose: [is] To provide for the expeditious disclosure of unidentified anomalous phenomena records,” including the establishment of… “an independent agency, a board to be known as the ‘‘Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Records Review Board,’’” the composition of, “The President shall make nominations to the … after considering persons recommended by…

    • The majority leader of the Senate
    • The minority leader of the Senate
    • The Speaker of the House of Rep8 resentatives
    • The minority leader of the House of Representatives
    • The Secretary of Defense
    • The National Academy of Sciences
    • The UAP Disclosure Foundation (we still don’t know who or what that is!)
    • The American Historical Association
    • Such other persons and organizations as the President considers appropriate.”

Additionally…

“It also establishes that the federal government would have “eminent domain” over any recovered technologies of unknown origin and any biological evidence of “non-human intelligence” that may be controlled by private individuals or entities.” – Reuters

Six days after Majority Leader Schumer’s UAP amendment, Rep. Burchett held a press conference announcing an upcoming Oversight Committee hearing on UAPs scheduled for this coming Wednesday, July 26th at 9am CST. You can read all about it at the links below and you can watch the live hearings at THIS LINK. It is of course interesting to hear Rep. Burchett and his colleagues speak of the resistance they have received from the Pentagon and Intelligence Community regarding their attempts to move these hearings forward.
