WOW! The Twisted Tale of Willy Seabrook
and His Flesh Eating, Zombies

Back when we launched our 2020-Monthly-Meetups, at the end of that inaugural “Anomaly Archives Adventure Club” event in February (before the Covid-Induced Lockdowns), Einida Excs and Viktor Criterion promised us a presentation on ZOMBIES! Well, it’s finally ready. Premiering this Monday night, October 26th at 7pm CST, we’ll be airing the first in a two-part series. Then Wednesday night, October 28th – after our weekly “Anomaly-NOW!” live news-roundup, we’ll be premiering part-two!

William SeabrookEinida Excs and Viktor Criterion present an Anomaly Archives Adventure Club lecture on the true, but barely believable, story of William B. Seabrook and his contributions to Zombie lore. The lecture is presented with a kinematic slideshow.

  • PART-ONE presents the story of Willy from his early days as an adventure writer to his exploits in a Paris morgue. Covering topics such as his friendship with Aleister Crowley, his work with Hearst and King features Syndicate, and his Adventures in Arabia.
  • PART-TWO covers Willy’s contributions to early concepts of Zombies in America and explores how Zombie lore has evolved since their introduction into popular culture. Covering topics such as his association with Faustin Wirkus, how he inspired the first Zombie Movie, and his legacy.

“What Does Near-Death-Experience
Reveal About Consciousness?”

Dr. Eben Alexander & Robert Price, Ph.D.

In this interview, neurosurgeon Dr. Eben Alexander discusses with psychologist Robert Price, Ph.D., how his Near-Death Experience profoundly shook his understanding of the nature of consciousness and reality itself. He came back a very changed man. His experience and research following it drove him to the realization that our conventional view of consciousness—that it is merely a product of our brains—is completely wrong. To illustrate this point, Dr. Alexander delves into many examples of “nonlocal consciousness,” such as remote viewing, out-of-body experience (OBE), precognition and telepathy. Following from these examples, he asserts that the fundamental basis of reality is actually consciousness itself rather than what we experience as “objective” reality.

He goes on to explain how we can use meditation, including meditation incorporating differential sound frequencies (otherwise known as “binaural beat” technology) to tap into nonlocal consciousness and liberate our conscious awareness from the “here and now.”

Dr. Alexander sees things like out-of-body experience and near-death experience as manifestations of the many layers of consciousness that lead us back to the origin of all that is—the infinite dimensional space and eternity—that is our true home. He uncovers and describes scientific evidence for these realms in our dreams and lucid dreams, near death experiences, “shared death experiences,” reincarnation, after-death communication, and psychedelic drug research.

Dr. Eben Alexander III is an American neurosurgeon and author. His book Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife (2012) describes his 2008 near-death experience and asserts that science can and will determine that the brain does not create consciousness and that consciousness survives bodily death. Dr. Alexander is also the author of the 2014 book The Map of Heaven which builds upon the claims in his previous book, and coauthor of the 2017 book Living in a Mindful Universe which describes his personal journey since 2008.

Robert F. Price is a Clinical Psychologist and President of the Institute for Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies, Inc. in Austin, Texas. He has devoted many years to both personal and scientific research into sleep and dreaming, lucid dreaming, meditation, altered states of consciousness, and human bioenergies. He believes that personal and scientific exploration of these states can greatly expand our understanding of the potential of the human mind and the nature of reality.

“Near-Death-Experience & The Noetic Sciences”
Dr. Eben Alexander & Joe Lam.

In this video, Dr. Eben Alexander is interviewed by Joe Lam–Community Group Leader with IONS Austin. Joe begins the interview by recounting how Dr. Edgar Mitchell’s samadhi experience onboard Apollo 14 while returning from the moon to Earth profoundly changed his life forever, and led him to found the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). Joe asks Dr. Alexander how his own NDE experience changed his life and his view of humanity; Dr. Alexander shares how his NDE journey completely flipped his view of life and humanity. In both cases, their respective experiences led to a profound shift and awakening to the oneness of mind, fundamental consciousness of the universe, and infinite human potential.

This realization that there is an omnipresent CONSCIOUSNESS in the Universe has the potential to unlock tremendous healing through the power of intention–and ultimately Love. Dr. Alexander delves into techniques to access deep connection to higher consciousness, healing, and inspiration by opening the mind and heart through meditation.

Finally, he explores where all these discoveries have the potential to lead humanity moving forward. In the face of the greatest challenges of our times, the omnipotent power of the Universal Mind is ours to behold and access.

This interview was conducted at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Austin, Texas on March 7th, 2020.
