Skepticism and Stories: UFO Disclosure, Human Experiences, and the Anomaly Now Launch
# Two Days Before “Disclosure Day”: UFOs, Art, and the Human Experience
What happens when the government’s biggest secrets collide with contemporary art, consciousness theory, and a mysterious book that apparently teleports itself across continents?
Recorded just two days before the anticipated “Disclosure Day,” Miles Lewis of the Scientific Anomaly Institute brings his trademark skepticism to a genuinely packed episode. From Austin, Texas, he covers everything from a fascinating art exhibition in Burbank, California on June 27th to whistleblower David Grush’s ongoing push for government transparency. (The event features free tarot readings and rare Flying Saucer music, which honestly sounds unmissable.) Importantly, Lewis makes a compelling case that contemporary UFO discourse keeps overlooking the most compelling element it has: actual human experiencers and their personal encounters, not just military witnesses and technical evidence.
Can consciousness research and paranormal phenomena coexist with serious government accountability hearings? Lewis argues they absolutely can. He weaves together Jacques Vallée’s bold claims about non-human bodies, Anthony Peake’s strange encounter with Whitley Strieber’s *The Key*, and the 1971 declassified Australian government assessment documenting CIA involvement in public debunking.
Throughout, Lewis centers the human side of these phenomena rather than the hardware. Tune in for an episode that genuinely rewires how you think about all of this.

- **Human experiencers are being marginalized in UFO discourse** — The emphasis has shifted heavily toward military witnesses and technological evidence, despite personal encounters being crucial to understanding the phenomenon’s human impact.
- **Government transparency efforts face active retaliation** — Whistleblower David Grush is experiencing consequences for advocating declassification, revealing that transparency about anomalous phenomena remains genuinely risky despite bipartisan political support.
- **Art and creative exploration are legitimate research tools** — UFO phenomena are being studied through art exhibitions and documentaries rather than purely scientific methods, suggesting the mystery may require non-traditional approaches to understanding.
Miles Lewis, host of Anomaly Now from Austin, Texas, opens his weekly podcast for the Scientific Anomaly Institute on June 10th, 2026, just two days before the anticipated “Disclosure Day.” He expresses healthy skepticism about major UFO disclosure while previewing upcoming events, including David Metcalfe’s June 24th presentation on anomalies and perception at the Anomaly Academy. Lewis also highlights an exciting art-focused UFO event called “Power to the Paper: Jailbreaking Disclosure” happening June 27th in Burbank, California, featuring filmmaker Dean Aliotto, curator Greg Bishop, and artists exploring how creative expression makes the unexplained visible through sketches, symbols, and personal narratives. The speakers discuss an exciting art exhibition and reception exploring non-human contact and UFO phenomena through contemporary art. Featuring work by ten artists including Susan Demeter and Barbara Fisher, the event at Creepy Kingdom will offer free tarot readings, rare Flying Saucer music, themed refreshments, and a VIP after-hours séance. Additionally, The Drawing Center presents “Voices, Space, UFOs, and Paranormal Phenomena,” a wide-ranging exhibition examining how humanity depicts and interprets the unexplainable through drawing and contemporary art, including works inspired by René Magritte’s 1931 painting “Voice of Space.” The speaker highlights several cultural resources exploring UFO phenomena and experiential accounts. They recommend visiting themarginalien.org to view Chilean artist Alejandro Acosta’s stunning embroidered illustrations for a book about extraterrestrial life. They also direct listeners to a Daily Grail interview featuring Karen Austin, director of the Johnny Mac Institute, discussing human contact experiences with the phenomenon. The speaker emphasizes the importance of centering human experiencers and their personal encounters, arguing this element is often overlooked in contemporary UFO discourse that prioritizes military witnesses and technological evidence over genuine human experience. The speaker discusses upcoming UFO-related media, including Dean Aliotto’s new documentary as an alternative perspective to militaristic whistleblower narratives, and Steven Spielberg’s film “Disclosure Day” releasing Friday. The speaker highlights Spielberg’s podcast appearances, particularly on “The Rewatchables” discussing “2001: A Space Odyssey” with hosts Bill Simmons and Sean Fennessy, where Spielberg reflects on his friendship with Kubrick and the film’s cultural relevance. The speaker notes that Spielberg addresses conspiracy theories suggesting he’s being used to prepare the public for imminent disclosure, which he dismisses while acknowledging the broader conversation about extraterrestrial life in the universe. A recent press conference featuring UFO whistleblower David Grush and members of a task force on declassification of federal secrets called for transparency regarding alleged government knowledge of alien life forms. The event, covered by major outlets including C-SPAN and Reuters, highlighted the importance of whistleblower protection and immunity for those willing to disclose classified information. Representatives including Burchett and Moskowitz joined Grush in advocating that the American public deserves access to government files, emphasizing that whistleblower protections extend beyond UFO-related disclosures to address broader concerns about illegal activities within compartmentalized government programs. The speaker discusses whistleblower David Grush’s efforts to expose government secrets regarding unidentified anomalous phenomena, highlighting how he faced retaliation and smear campaigns from certain journalists. The speaker emphasizes bipartisan agreement that transparency is necessary regardless of political affiliation. Grush references intriguing concepts like plasma consciousness and mentions the 1971 declassified Australian government assessment on UFOs, which documents U.S. intelligence involvement and CIA’s role in public debunking efforts. The speaker encourages readers to examine these historical documents for evidence of government cover-ups and private intelligence interests. The speaker discusses recent congressional hearings and document releases related to unidentified anomalous phenomena, including testimonies from David Grush and proceedings before the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee. They highlight Jacques Vallée’s recent appearance at the Contact in the Desert event, where he reportedly made bold assertions about non-human bodies in government possession during the announcement of his seventh journal volume. The speaker expresses enthusiasm about upcoming content featuring Joshua Cutchin discussing the connections between fairies and Bigfoot on The Y Files, while also noting their personal appreciation for Vallée’s work and ongoing reading of his published journals. The speaker discusses several recent works and developments in UFO and consciousness research. Joshua’s latest books, including “The Inverted Path,” explore connections between paranormal phenomena and the afterlife. David Grush, a UAP whistleblower, recently gave an interview to Judicial Watch discussing non-human biologics and craft. The speaker highlights philosophical essays and works by authors like Nick Cook, who has shifted from studying reverse-engineered technology to exploring consciousness, disclosure, and societal adaptation. These thinkers increasingly view UFO research through the lens of consciousness and spirituality rather than purely technological angles. The speaker discusses the “Alien Autopsy” scandal, detailing how a 1990s hoax involving fake alien footage has become the subject of a new Sky Documentaries film. They reference research from Dr. David Clark debunking the infamous Santilli footage, which used rubber masks and animal organs. The speaker then recommends Tanner Boyles’ “Getting Spooked” blog and podcast, particularly Gnome Chat 9 featuring Dr. Wendy S. Painting discussing Jeremy Corbell’s documentary “Sleeping Dogs.” Dr. Painting shares a remarkable mid-1980s account involving CIA pilot John Lear and alleged desert encounters with unusual creatures near Las Vegas, highlighting the complex intersection of UFO lore and conspiracy narratives. The speaker discusses Wendy Painting’s book “Aberration in the Heartland of the Real,” which explores unusual connections between Timothy McVeigh and figures like John Lear, including claims of implants and visits to Area 51. The speaker also highlights military urban warfare exercises conducted in the Los Angeles area, categorizing them as psychological operations on civilians. Additionally, they recommend exploring articles on animal cognition and extraterrestrial linguistics, reflecting on Terrence McKenna’s theories about consciousness and human evolution. The speaker discusses various fascinating ideas, including the stoned ape theory—the notion that our ancestors’ consumption of psilocybin mushrooms on African plains may have sparked human consciousness evolution. They also explore alternative panspermia theories suggesting mushroom spores from space could trigger advanced consciousness in terrestrial life. The speaker expresses mixed feelings about psychedelic therapy for traumatic brain injuries, acknowledging both therapeutic potential and concerns about commercialization in the emerging psychedelic business. Finally, they mention Anthony Peake’s intriguing account of a mysterious experience involving Whitley Strieber’s book “The Key” at a consciousness conference, highlighting the complex intersection of science, spirituality, and unexplained phenomena. The speaker discusses several mysterious occurrences surrounding Whitley Strieber’s book “The Key,” including claims that unauthorized changes were made to reprints. Anthony Peake recounts a strange incident at Contact in the Desert where a copy of the book mysteriously materialized before him despite being left in England—an apparent teleportation phenomenon. The speaker also connects this to a peculiar incident where an unidentified face briefly appeared on screens at the same event, which Strieber believed was Mac Tonys but the speaker suspects was actually Anthony Peake’s image from a panel placard. The episode concludes with updates on cryptozoology news, including Bigfoot sightings in Ohio, Loch Ness Monster hunts, and a wildly popular cryptid-themed police patch from West Virginia. The speaker discusses Small Town Monsters’ new video about the Sabine Sasquatch in East Texas and shares a memorable investigative experience from 2014 with the late Rob Riggs and Chester Moore Jr. on the Sabine River. Though they didn’t encounter a Bigfoot, the expedition involved intriguing synchronicities and strange occurrences. The speaker encourages listeners to explore their website at anomalyarchives.org, watch related content, and support their work through Patreon while inviting audience feedback on their material.
TRANSCRIPT
Hello. Welcome to another edition of Anomaly Now, straight out of Austin, Texas. I’m your host, Miles Lewis. Some of these people I’m not as familiar with, but I think I’ve seen their art, and this is just wild and awesome and so cool, and I wish I could be there with my good friend Greg Bishop and others. The reception will also feature free tarot readings, rare Flying Saucer, and UAP -inspired music. Well, Greg knows the best, and the weirdest. Limited edition event artwork, themed refreshments available as an add -on. An intimate setting for exploring art, contact, mystery, and the unexplained. And a VIP after -hours seance. Oh, wow. Okay, this is over at creepykingdom .com. And yeah, there’s so much more going on of an artistic nature. We’ve got all these great links here in the show notes for tonight’s episode, including voice of space, UFOs, and paranormal phenomena over at… Artforum .com, which is talking, there’s also this article talking about that. The Drawing Center, Voices Space, UFOs and Paranormal Phenomena over at drawingcenter .org. Martian gargoyles and lunar fish. Chilean artist Alejandro Acosta’s wondrous embroidered illustrations for this world. For this world’s first book, Theorizing Life on Other Worlds. The Others Among Us. Let’s just skip over to some of this. Yeah, over at artforum .com, you can get an introduction to this exhibit. Taken too far, the desire to know can become a perversion. Epistemophiles crave knowledge with a lust that can never be satisfied. That is why they find themselves so enthralled by the UFO, a thing that is definitionally unidentified, unknowable. Voice of Space took its title from a 1931 canvas by Rene Magritte, featured in this wide -ranging group presentation which shows… Three orbs floating eerily over a pastoral landscape. The juxtaposition demands an explanation that the picture refuses to provide. In that respect, the work exemplifies the first of two modes that split the exhibition’s objects. One depicted an enigma, the other captured what it feels like to decipher one. Yeah, this sounds like a really fascinating exhibition. It goes on to say, the contrast between these examples points to a doubt that nagged me throughout Voice of Space. To what degree does the UFO motif appear in the art? And to what degree was it imposed upon the work by the exhibition’s framing? So this is, I think, someone’s description of the exhibit, which is this one kind of weird illustration. But over at drawingcenter .org, which is, I think, I guess where the event is happening, is this. Voices, Space, UFOs, and Paranormal Phenomena, where I think you can look at more images or text. Or was this, this is not an exhibit, but an issue of a magazine. Oh, goodness. Yeah. It says, Voices, Space, UFOs, and Paranormal Phenomena explores profound mysteries at the intersections of human experience, belief, and the unknown through contemporary art, historical courts. works, and the lens of drawing, this exhibition offers a broad perspective on how humanity has sought to depict, interpret, and question the unexplainable and how these ideas have influenced art and culture over time. Titled after René Magritte’s 1931 painting on view in the exhibition, Voice of Space invites viewers to consider the ways in which these themes both live in our collective memory and influence our individual imaginations.
I see. Voice of Space is accompanied by a fully illustrated catalog. featuring new scholarship by artist Paul Chan, curator Olivia Schau, and American science fiction writer and cultural critic Mark von Schlegel, published through the Drawing Center’s Drawing Papers in Print, with a list of featured artists that you can see there. Well, pretty cool. I just love this. And then over at themarginalien .org, Martian Gargoyles and Lunar Fish. Chilean artist Alejandro Acosta’s wondrous embroidered illustrations for this world’s first book, Theorizing Life on Other Worlds. Some of these illustrations are just gorgeous. These are just beautiful embroideries of alien -looking beings. You should go to that link at themarginalien .org and look at some of these. Oh, goodness.
Wow. Very nice stuff. Yeah, go check it out. And then over at, what is this? BF banana dot blogspot dot com. That’s a blue banana. Looks like AI artwork. Oh, well. But they have an article from a couple of months ago. The others among us inside the musical mind of UFO archivist Albert Rosales. If you’ve been at this for a while and if you haven’t, you should know Albert Rosales is one of these amazing modern Charles Fort -esque. collectors of strange UFO close encounter entity reports. It says here, Albert S. Rosales is a man who wears a coat of many colors, born in Cuba in 1958. His family migrated to Spain in 1966. A year later, his family moved to America, first to New York City, but eventually to Miami, where today he lives as an official resident of the United States. And you can find out more about him and his efforts over at this link. I really wasn’t aware of his interest in… It says musical mind. Yeah, maybe they’re just playing with that. But over at the poetry at poetryfoundation .org, this is a true story. Gray Barker helped create UFO mythology from his home in rural West Virginia. In his poems, he channels the repression and paranoia that stalked post -war America. Now, this is… I believe an interview and or a review of the book recently put out about Gray Barker that I have yet to get a copy of, and I’m very excited to read more about. And yeah, Behold the Behemoth, the collective poetry of Gray Barker, edited by Gabriel McKee, who also published last year’s excellent biography. Ah, I see. It’s two different works. I’m getting my things confused. The biography is titled The Saucerian UFO is Men in Black and the Unbelievable Life of Gray Barker. Some of you may recall me and others reading his famous UFO is a Bucket of Excrement poem.
Anyway, I’ve seen interviews and heard a lot about McKee’s biography, and I just think it’s great that folks are putting out these. culturally inclusive media compilations, whether it be poetry, music, art, embroidery. This is all important aspects of human contact experience and expression. So, where are we? Yeah, you should definitely check out these links. Check out that Creepy Kingdom event that Greg Bishop is curating. That’s coming up on June 27th. Meanwhile, we have, you know, experiencers matter. This is something that gets lost in this shuffle for quote unquote, big D disclosure in this post 2017 focus on military witnesses and technological evidence of encounters. What about the human element, the human experience, the actual. abduction experiences, contact experiences of people that get up close and personal with this phenomenon. Well, I highly recommend you check out over at Daily Grail. Now, I don’t know if they’ve posted this to dailygrail .com yet, but over on their Patreon. for free to everyone, you can see this amazing interview. It’s such a great interview. It’s from last month, posted last month, where they talk with Karen Austin, who is the director of the Johnny Mac Institute and who has been working very closely with the Rice University Archives of the Impossible, Center for the Impossible, and Man, every time they ask her a question, she is just like flabbergasted and so overjoyed to be asked really good questions of by Greg and Miguel.
And I just I highly recommend you go watch this. It’s just an hour long and it’s really worth the wait, worth the watch. And it’s such a great antidote to the. time that we find ourselves in that is so hyper -focused on the threat of UFOs and UAP and the, you know, begging the government for, uh, to tell us the truth, but we’ll get to that. But yeah, you can watch this for free over on their YouTube channel and also, you know, highly recommend you support them and, and get some great daily news at the Daily Grail website.
All right.
So there is also this video. I’m not going to play half of it, but you can watch. This is just a teaser. There’s a longer version. But previously mentioned Dean Aliotto. I’m probably mispronouncing his name. My apologies. But he has his new documentary. Let me just make sure. I need to make sure that I’m playing this. Correctly.
Sorry. Sorry, folks. Just a little bit of a break here. Okay. Nope. Wait a minute.
I just, I got to make sure there’s a little glitch that sometimes happens. Okay.
Check this out.
Right. So. Yeah, this has been released now. I have not had the chance to watch it, but I’ve been very intrigued to see this new documentary by Dean. And yeah, like I say, it’s a good antidote, I think, to all the focus on the militaristic whistleblower aspect of this time that we find ourselves in. But gotta get to that.
Gotta get to that. So, you know, we’ve got… Oh, and before I touch on that, okay, so coming out in two days, disclosure day, this Friday, Steven Spielberg’s movie, which, of course, with each release of a new trailer, they reveal more and more. It’s so clear that he has incorporated the standard UFO mythology, which, I mean, he did pretty well with. Back when he did Close Encounters of the Third Kind, this iconic UFO contact movie. And but he’s, you know, of course, it’s decades have gone by and he’s updated it. So there’s some great stuff that you can watch. It’s pretty interesting to me. I don’t know that I’ve seen that many interviews with Steven Spielberg over the years, but he’s now doing the podcast and the video podcast. He’s even on the podcast that you can watch on Netflix, but you don’t need to watch it. You can just listen to it. It’s called The Rewatchables, and this particular episode is on 2001, A Space Odyssey. And this has hosts Bill Simmons and Sean Fennessy talking to Steven Spielberg. And it’s a great interview. I really enjoyed listening to this. Highly recommend it. Again, you don’t have to watch it. You can find the audio version and just listen to it. But it’s really amazing to hear them discuss and Spielberg pontificate on his friendship with Kubrick and his first experiencing multiple times and within the first few weeks of it going into theaters, 2001 A Space Odyssey. And of course, along the way, there are references to his experience producing his movies and references to the upcoming Disclosure Day and the relevance of these things. But there’s some other good articles. There’s this one over at, I’m not sure whose show it is, but it’s titled Pathology Professor and UAP Expert on Impact of Spielberg’s Disclosure Day. And then there’s this other interview, Emily Blunt Reacts to Disclosure Day Conspiracy Theories and Spills on Working with Steven Spielberg. So I think it’s in both. I’ve seen Emily Blunt comment that she implies that they were made to watch, if they hadn’t watched already, the UFO hearing recordings. And in the 2001 Space Odyssey discussion with Steven Spielberg, he comments on the fact, he touches on the conspiracy theory surrounding Kubrick’s having allegedly… faked the moon landing footage for our government our space agency but then they ask him well what what kind of weird theories or conspiracy theories have you heard about your own films or yourself and he said well the current one that i’m somehow you know i have been manipulated to produce this disclosure day documentary or that i’m helped as part of i’m being used as part of some um how you say preparation for imminent disclosure. And he’s, of course, saying, of course not. But he basically has said multiple times, I’ve seen in multiple interviews, I think, where he is like, well, you know, I thought that life in the universe out there was possible, but it’s only since these hearings and these disclosures that are coming out that he’s started believing it’s quite possible, if not probable, that there has been a cover -up and that they are here. And that’s a big change for him, allegedly. All right. Meanwhile, yes, yesterday, Tuesday, June 9th, was the press conference for the task force on the declassification of federal secrets. And you can find a page that was created for that over at the website. And the main guest of honor was, of course, David Grush, who has been working for Representative Burleson on this task force and trying to help get to the bottom, get the secrets out. C -SPAN describes it as UFO whistleblower David Grush joined by partisan members of the task force on declassification of federal secrets to advocate for the disclosure of government files containing knowledge of alien life forms. They called for immunity for UFO whistleblowers and emphasized that the American public deserves to know the truth. Well, yeah, you can watch the entire video at C -SPAN as well as, of course, News Nation covered it. Reuters actually covered it. Reuters News Outlet covered the entire event. News Nation did, as did Fox 10 out of Phoenix and probably others that I haven’t seen. Of course, there were a number of watch parties. that happened with everybody from Pavel of Psychoactivo and his gaggle of, of podcaster friends, the night shift, et cetera, Christina Gromez. And of course, Martin, Martin of podcast UFO and with special guests and many others, but yeah, it’s, it’s worth checking out. It’s only about 35 minutes, about five minutes or so of, of Q and a though. The interviewers, unfortunately, or rather the journalists asking the question were not Mike, so it’s kind of hard to hear. But I’m going to be posting better versions of that, I think. And we actually have some clips that I’m going to play for you right now, if I can. Where are those clips? We’ve got about five clips. The first clip is three minutes. So each of these representatives, Burleson, Burchett, Moskowitz, some others. You know, in the background are a number of military. I think it’s Dylan. No, no, I’m sorry. I think it’s Nisitelli, Admiral Tim Galladay. The Soul Foundation is Peter Scafish lurking in the background. But the rest are mostly, I don’t recognize everybody, but I know I’m sure they’ve all been identified. But it opens with, I believe. James Fox. And then the, then the politicians start talking and then eventually Leslie Kane. And so I’m going to start, I’ve got five clips. The first clip is about three minutes and that features Leslie Kane. And I like that she’s the only one not wearing a suit and she’s the only one of these people who is like me and so many of us that are interested in this, that’s been involved in this scene for a long time. And so I do think. she’s worth listening to for next three minutes all right here we go all right and then we are going to have a clip here from this first clip is just a brief one from david gresh who of course he was the main speaker um and here’s what he had to say yeah and so that i could see a lot of people would probably latch on to that and
And he’s trying to mitigate that criticism of, oh, yeah, okay, you’ve looked at other countries’ intelligence analysis of what they’re able to get and what they might believe about these alleged programs. And obviously, yes, you’ve got to be aware that that itself could be disinformation or they could be being themselves disinformed by our own disinformation programs. But interesting nonetheless. And here’s another clip of him.
And this is, I think, again, this is there. I do really think there is a very important whistleblower protection component to this. And it’s not just about UFOs. It’s about everything. Because if there is illegal activity happening in the government and the military and the intelligence community and. and the compartmentalized black budget programs, that there needs to be protection for folks who are trying to protect us from that and trying to blow the whistle and inform the public about this wrongdoing. And as we know, he was more or less… targeted and retaliated against. And we don’t know all the details, but we do know that some unscrupulous investigative journalists participated in smear campaigns against, uh, Mr. Grush. And I don’t know, I, I’m, I think it’s, I see both sides of so many of these issues, but, uh, now this next clip is about three minutes long. Again, you can go watch the whole thing. It’s only 33, 35 minutes. Um, and it’s not that. It’s not that there’s a lot of testimony. It’s mainly just these politicians saying, Mr. President, you’re, you know, you’re being manipulated. We’re all being manipulated. We’re all being lied to. And it’s time for these obstructions to be taken out of the way and for the truth to be let out there. And whatever your political leaning is, I do agree that that needs to be done. Whatever president happens to be in power when that happens. That’s a big can of worms. But here we are.
All right, this next one is about three minutes, and it’s Grush answering several questions, and you should be able to hear, hopefully, the unmiked media journalists asking the questions here and be able to hear those questions.
So lots of very interesting stuff there. Not least of which is his mentioning in the context of types of entities that there might be that he might be aware of. Plasma consciousness, plasma intelligence. That’s pretty interesting. I don’t know that I’ve ever heard him make reference to that. He probably has. He’s done so many other interviews that I haven’t seen. The question about Immaculate Constellation. which I’m still inclined to think was just a documentation that that whistleblower came across was of a war game, just war game related materials that were incorporating all of this open source mythology as best we can describe it until we know for sure, even though I do tend to think a lot of it could be true. And the now deceased attempted whistleblower, Matthew Sullivan, Very interesting little bits, tidbits there. So, oh, and yes, the, uh, let’s see. Yes. The 1971 Australian UFO assessment. Um, you over at disclosure org, disclosure .org is this document. Um, and it’s a little blurb on congressional press conference calls for whistleblower immunity. In full UAP disclosure, but one of the most interesting things here is them talking about the 1971 Australian assessment. During the press conference Q &A, David Grush referenced a specific historical document that warrants closer examination, a declassified 1971 Australian government assessment titled Scientific and Intelligence Aspects of the UFO Problem, prepared by O .H. Turner, head of the nuclear branch in Australia’s Joint Intelligence Organization. Grush described it as a, quote, little -known document that is publicly available and encouraged people to, quote, read page 7 through 16, unquote, where Turner discussed, quote, the U .S. cover -up and the involvement of the CIA back in the 1970s.
The document is significant because it represents a formal Allied government assessment, not speculation from a private researcher that examined U .S. intelligence involvement with UFO reports. the role of the CIA and Robertson panel in public debunking, advanced propulsion research, and the distinction between the U .S. government’s public posture and its private intelligence interest. Read the full declassified assessment, and they have it embedded here for you to read. And they also tell you why they think this matters, and they have a link to the News Nation version of the press conference. It looks like the whole thing. Now, if you want to see more about this event, like I said, you can go to our page for that, but we also have a page on anomalyarchive .org for United States government UFO UAP developments, where we’ve got links to the main developments in terms of the last few years of these different hearings. And we’ve embedded a lot of the videos from these different hearings. Of course, the most recent thing being this yesterday’s. Task Force Press Conference, of course, the recent Pursue document releases happening at the Department of War, dow .gov slash UFOs, Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, Pursue. And then last year’s September 9th, Restoring Public Trust through UAP Transparency. as well as the May 1st, 2025, Understanding UAP, Science, National Security and Innovation, House Oversight and Accountability press conference, hearing, presentation. I guess it was more of a press conference. The November 13th, 2024, GOP Oversight and Accountability, Unidentified Anonymous Phenomena, Exposing the Truth, hearing. The same day, a couple, oops, I got those in the wrong order. November 19th, 2024. Hearing on the activities of Arrow, the all -domain anomaly resolution office for the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee, the SASC, on emerging threats and capabilities. This was a barely attended, but still interesting hearing chaired by Gillibrand and interviewing Dr. Koslowski, the new head of Arrow. And then, of course, back in. July of 2023, the UAP hearing with David Grush, David Fravor, and Ryan Graves. And then going back before that, the 2022, May 17th, the United States Congress hearings on UFOs. And then a whole bunch of other historic stuff, including citizen hearings and other congressional hearings. But yeah.
Okay, where else? We’ve got…
So in other UAP news, you can hear people talking about Jacques Vallée’s shocking claims about non -human bodies. So apparently at the most recent Contact in the Desert event, Jacques revealed that, oh, his seventh edition of his journal, his journals of his forbidden science journals. Has been released. And I immediately ordered my I heard somebody said a friend had told me last week that it had been released and it was announced at the Contact in the Desert event. But I had not noticed or seen any reference to this. And so my copy should be arriving in two days on my birthday. Yay. But this is supposed to be. the seventh and final volume of Jacques’ journals. But the shocking claim, apparently, was his appearance at the conference, where he basically asserted that there are, in fact, bodies possessed by the government. Now, I don’t think I’ve heard the actual clip. This is just somebody else describing what they heard, and this narrator is… she’s saying like, Oh, I, I was taking so many notes and there are so many things being flown out, you know, thrown out that she, you know, had to go back and rewatch. But she claims that he said this kind of like unequivocally, not like, Oh, I’ve heard stories that, but he, he seemed to be very sternly saying that it was true. Hard to say. We’ll see. I, you know, I wouldn’t be surprised. I think. You know, maybe as he’s gotten older, he’s just not worried about saying things that maybe he wouldn’t have said so definitively before. If you know me, you know I’m a huge fan of Mr. Valais. I’m still trying, I still need to finish volume six. Got so far to go, I just take so many notes. Okay. Meanwhile, some great stuff you can check out. I have not had the chance to watch this, but I’m so excited for my good friend Joshua Cutchin. Josh is a guest interviewee on The Basement. This is the Y Files interview show. You know, the Y Files. It’s that very popular alternative news, weird paranormal show that features heckle fish. You can love him or hate him. A lot of people hate heckle fish. I thought it’s one of the funniest cute things about it. Anyway, I haven’t had the chance to watch it, but I’m so excited for Joshua Cutchin. And they’re talking about fairies, Bigfoot and the connection nobody saw coming, which of course is all about the amazing, massive magnum opus. I mean, he’s, he’s released, Josh has released two other books since then. And this thing was so monumental. Ecology of Souls, which of course is a phrase from Terence McKenna, but it’s his, you know, it’s the culmination of all his previous books, but focused through the lens of the idea that there’s something to do with death and the afterlife in all these strange phenomena. His two books since that two -volume tome and its massive appendix third tome.are fourth wall phantoms and oh gosh you know i don’t even have it pulled up but what is the other new one um oh yes the inverted path that’s right uh the inverted path is now available that’s his latest book supernatural disorientation and interruptions in travel my god joshua you’re just you’re killing it you’re you’re knocking it out of the park and i was so happy to see a video that Greg Bishop posted of Joshua and Greg and some others at giant rock doing what I’ve been there for with Greg when he’s done this before, which is every time he goes, he plays on a speakers at the rock calling occupants of interplanetary craft. Anyway, let’s see what else we got.
Oh, so something that David Grush referenced in that, Grush referenced in that, in his Q &A, I think when he, in the context, I think of the Immaculate Constellation question, he said that he had done this, gosh, it’s Judicial Watch, which is generally considered a conservative think tank, investigative journalism outlet. Judicial Watch has done a lot of good work over the years, as far as I’ve seen. It may not. It may piss off a lot of left -leaning people, but, you know, again, it’s important to expose corruption and get to the bottom of things. And that doesn’t mean, you know, everything that I agree with, everything they’ve done. But apparently they interviewed David Grush, and I only just saw this. I have not had the chance to watch it, but Grush refers to it in the context of answering the question about Immaculate Constellation. That is a YouTube video you can go watch called UAP Whistleblower David Grush on quote -unquote non -human biologics and craft. Maybe it’s part of a larger interview. Meanwhile, there’s this article, Mystery Does Not Get Smaller When We Study It. Oh, actually, this isn’t an article. This is, well, it’s an essay, about a six -minute read over at the Society for UAP Studies. That’s at societyforuapstudies .org.
Carl Antonio. And, yeah, another deep dive philosophical approach, I think, maybe. I’m not really sure. I haven’t had the chance to read it.
I know, I’m always pointing y ‘all towards stuff that I haven’t had the chance to read or watch. It’s just so much, but, you know, I think it’s probably worth checking out. Meanwhile, Nick Cook, author of The Hunt for Zero Point, one of the most foundational texts in terms of The hardware aspect of reverse engineering are these advanced aeronautical deep black programs. But he’s gone in such an amazing new direction these last several years. Highly recommend his Substack Rogue Icons and his latest as of yesterday, The Resilience Question, a thoughtful new framework for disclosure, resilience, and societal adaptation. He’s become a really big thinker. in a way that I think he’s incorporated a lot of New Age philosophy and has, like so many, migrated his interest in UFOs and UAP into the realm of the afterlife and the nature of consciousness and how we can use it to benefit humanity and what we like to think of as civilization. All right, what’s next? I need to get through all this.
Okay. Where are we? Yeah, so PsyOps, P -S -I -O -P -S, as in my old radio show with my good friend Mack White. PsyOp Radio, decoding the psychological warfare machinations within paranormal UFO and paranormal landscapes. One of my favorite, oh, did I get these out of order? Oh, I probably did. Oh, well. It’ll work out. Who cares?
Over at theguardian .com, the alien autopsy scandal. This fascinating tale of a bizarre DIY that’s do -it -yourself hoax hits spinal tap levels of hilarity. I so want to see this documentary series about the alien autopsy. You know, I remember when I was printing my Elphys ELF Infested Spaces Journal of Possible Paradigms zine back in the 90s. In my P .O. box one day was a press release from Santilli’s company, and it included, and I’ve got the scans in the archives, little slide, two slide photographs of the body. And it’s promoting the documentary. This article starts, a fake alien made by a Doctor Who sculptor. Animal organs sourced from a butcher, an actual magician behind the camera. This outrageous story makes for a great watch. Well, I can’t wait to see it. I don’t know whether I believe it’ll conclusively prove one way or the other because there’s just, there’s some people with very hardcore beliefs about this case out there.
Gosh, where’s the other?
Oh, yes, here we go. Yes, over at David Clark’s Substack. That’s Dr. Clark with an E on the end. Won’t get fooled again? The alien autopsy scandal, where he is also talking about this. And he has this great image of a mask for the face, which the caption reads, This alien head made from rubber was delivered to the London headquarters of the Fortean Times magazine in 1996. It is on display at the National Space Center in Leicester. The caption describes it as a fake, claiming to prove the film Alien Autopsy to be a fake, which in itself has later been shown to be a fake film of a fake alien crash. Fakes of fakes?
Yeah, it can get really confusing.
Oh, and so this is premiering on Friday on Sky Documentaries. Can I just go there?
Yeah, okay, you can link through. Alien autopsy scandal. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction or is it? Watch on Sky documentaries and now I bet there’s a, I bet we can’t watch it over here.
Maybe there’s a way around that. I don’t know.
So we’re, yes. Okay. Back to PSYOPs. That was Autopsied Aliens. Back to PSYOPs. I just, I always want to recommend Tanner Boyle’s Getting Spooked blog. He’s been doing a podcast besides his wonderful in -depth researched articles. He’s got this latest gnome chat, number nine. When he gets all his friends together, he calls it his gnome chat, and that’s their podcast. And Beyond Thunder Gnome with Dr. Wendy S. Painting. If you don’t know the name Wendy S. Painting, you should. Oh, you know, I don’t have the page for that, do I? Gosh. So we have on the archives website, We have a page for her amazing tone on the terrible Oklahoma City bombings. Really, it focuses on the individual, the lone nut. I’m just blanking on his name.
Anyway, I highly recommend this. This gnome chat it’s ostensibly about jeremy corbell’s documentary sleeping dog which he will say is not his documentary but it’s it’s in coordination with him um where they were going to talk about that documentary and they do bookend the show with some talk about it but they don’t really actually talk about it that much mostly god bless sorry there’s so much noise happening outside my house right now i hope it’s not coming through Number, okay. Tanner Boyles getting spooked. Number 30, Gnome Chat 9, Beyond Thunderdome with Dr. Wendy S. Painting, wherein Tanner forces everyone to watch the Jeremy Corbell -centric Doc Sleeping Dog 2026. Excuse me. And Wendy tells a remarkable story concerning CIA pilot UFO disinfo peddler John Lear, who is part of the focus of the Jeremy Corbell Sleeping Dog movie.
Now, Wendy has had to become immersed in so much horrific white nationalist militia type nightmare groups as part of her research for her previous book. And the story she relates is crazy. Basically, some young, it goes back to the mid 80s. maybe 86 or 87 when the, her informant who she calls Winston, uh, was out in the desert, just right outside of Las Vegas. And they saw a UFO and then they saw these little boogers as they called them. These basically like the equivalent of like hair, like black, hairy monkey, big foots. And they were chased by them all the way back to the suburbs, where inexplicably at three in the morning, John Lear, who they did not know or recognize, pulled up and said, get in and proceeded to take them home without them ever telling him where they lived. And it being clear that there was some weird connection there. And as this person, Winston, told Wendy, His life went totally downhill after he met John Lear. And it just, it’s insane. And there’s so many weird connections to all of this stuff. Gosh, if I could only remember the name of her book. Oh, maybe I can. Let me see real quick here. Gosh, I’m going to search.
Search the Anomaly Archives website. Wendy Painting. There we go. Yeah. It’s got a great title. I have not read this book, but you can, we have a page for it. It’s called Aberration in the Heartland of the Real, The Secret Lives of Timothy McVeigh. And I love that cover. I just think that is an amazingly cool cover. And yeah, it’s all online. I’ve got, I’ve reproduced the table of contents. You can, you can listen to an audio book version of it online. You can read it all online for free. To me, this seems like a very important work. And there are a surprising number of references to UFOs in it. I had forgotten. I knew that Timothy McVeigh claimed to have an implant of some sort tracking device in his butt.
But I had forgotten. There’s all these reports. It’s just like with Oswald, all the reports of him going down to Mexico. Um, there’s all, I’m not just like, but it just reminds me that there’s all these reports of Timothy McVeigh going to area 51 verified, very strange.
Anyway, highly recommend gnome chat. Number nine, beyond Thunderdome, beyond a thunder gnome with Dr. Wendy S painting and the entire gnome chat crew as orchestrated by Tanner F. Boyle. Great job guys. Meanwhile, this isn’t that paranormal or anomalous, sadly. Over at cryptoschatology .blogspot, this is, of course, Robert Guffey’s website. I highly recommend all of Robert Guffey’s work. I really need to do an interview with him. I love his work. But he posted a link, and I’d seen other links to this. Mysterious urban warfare drills rattle LA area residents. Kind of thing happens all the time, and it often involves Delta Force and other barely regulated military groups who have very sketchy backgrounds, histories. And as in this case, they often will do night raids with, you know, not live fire, but with, you know, full on automatic sounding weapons and bombs going off in abandoned urban areas. In this case, this blog reads, An abandoned Long Beach hotel was the site of a dramatic U .S. military raid early Friday, part of a series of urban warfare exercises across the Los Angeles area this week. The training took place at the Golden Sails Hotel on Pacific Coast Highway near Deer Drive. Shortly after midnight, multiple military helicopters were seen circling the building before dropping troops onto the roof. Troops deployed flashbangs and went door to door inside the old hotel using simulated gunfire. Long Beach police officers provided traffic control and briefly closed Pacific Coast Highway in both directions. Similar training exercises have taken place in other L .A. metro cities in recent days, frustrating some local residents. The U .S. military has not offered an explanation for the timing of these exercises. But as somebody who’s followed this kind of parapolitical activity, and I would categorize it as that. I put it under the category of psyops because it basically is sending a message.
It is psychological warfare on Californians, in my opinion. You can fill in the blanks and figure out what I mean by that. All right, where to next? I think… I can close all that. Yeah.
Let’s see, we also have… You should check out under Consciousness, Mind and Beyond, this article over at The Guardian. They surprise me every time. Bees can use tools to solve problems, study finds. There’s also this interesting article over at Aon .co, Extraterrestrial Tongues. And, you know, I was excited to see about a month ago that Jesse Michaels did a video on what’s commonly referred to as the stoned ape. hypothesis. You know, Terrence McKenna had a lot of different theories. He just, he could rattle off any idea anytime. And he had so many different ideas that were often mutually exclusive, but not always. And one of those was his stoned ape theory. And I don’t know that he’s originally the person who came up with this or the person that came up with that phrase, but what is the name of, is it food of the gods or I think it’s Food of the Gods. He did a book, or at least maybe the collection of essays. Anyway, he put forth this idea that I think has been around for a while, but that our ancestors evolutionarily on the plains of Africa, you know, living their non -sedentary lifestyle as they, you know, followed. beasts on the plains would come across mushrooms sprouting out of dung and ate them and that that could have sparked the evolution of our consciousness. And then he would also pontificate on the idea of, well, it’s been discovered that mushroom spores can survive in the vacuum of space. And this gives rise to the idea of an alternative view on panspermia, the idea that if not life, in terms of molecules seeding planets from floating through space, that these spores, these forms of life, could come to a planet, be ingested by an existing creature, and spark new brain activity and new consciousness levels. Anyway, you can watch the American Alchemy, Jesse Michaels, Our Mushrooms Aliens video, which, you know, is very entertaining. It’s an idea I’ve always found fascinating. Of course, there’s a whole, I think I’ve mentioned on the show, there’s a whole, I believe there’s a brief booklet written under the pseudonym of somebody else by McKenna where he puts forth the whole alien pansformia idea and that mushrooms are aliens and they have triggered us and intend to have us become more advanced technologically so that we can become off -world traveling, and then we can help spread them, the mushrooms, to other planets. As an accompaniment to mentioning this, there is this YouTube video. I’m not sure who it’s by, but it’s former athletes use magic mushrooms to help treat traumatic brain injuries. And I have really mixed feelings about this. I am, of course, an advocate for… the legal use of psychedelics for both therapeutic and recreational use. I personally, you know, think that people should be allowed to responsibly use anything they want to alter their consciousness. And I think some of these drugs are incredibly powerful tools for doing positive work psychologically, spiritually, etc. They’re not for everybody, though. And, but at the same time, I do think there’s good evidence that this could really help soldiers. This could really help anybody with traumatic brain injuries. But this particular video,
let me just say, I’ve come to understand that there is a lot more happening with big money behind the scenes as it relates to the psychedelic therapy movement. A lot of bad stuff has happened and is happening. And it really kind of bothers me.
I don’t know. This former athlete who’s suffered his own traumatic brain injury is now, after having benefited from this, moving into this as a business. And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that. I just, it gives me very mixed feelings. Check it out. It was a very interesting video, and it’s a big can of worms. Moving quickly into the last of the show here, miscellaneous weird news. Anthony Peake, an explorer of consciousness, he’s posted this video that you can watch over on his YouTube channel. He originally posted it on Facebook, but it’s just about five and a half minutes. It’s a very strange… experience. He’s recounting an experience. So this video is him at this year’s 2026 Contact in the Desert event, where he’s sitting at the same table in the vendors area where he has sat, I guess, in 2025 and 2024. And he’s relating a very strange experience that happened two years before in 2024, where I can’t explain it, but basically it all centers around His personal copy of Whitley Strieber’s book, The Key, which if you know anything about Whitley Strieber and his wild history, his description of the origins of his writing the book, The Key, are in themselves very strange. And it’s had a very strange lineage in that I think at some point when it was reprinted, Strieber has claimed that changes were made to the edition that came out that he did not. make or authorize. That’s strange enough, but in this story, Anthony Peake is kind of describing what, if you’re not familiar with the word, an a -port, a teleportation type, an a -port, a materialization phenomenon, whereby he basically had intended to bring his copy of Strieber’s The Key to get Strieber to sign it, but had left it back in England. And suddenly there’s a copy of it on the floor in front of him in this space at Contact in the Desert. And it just gets weirder from there. Now, I don’t know. It could easily like he I think he even says maybe this is some memory issue he’s having. But it doesn’t it sounds like there could be a couple of different things going on, but that’s very strange. But what I found funny also is this came on the heels of me talking to Greg Bishop, who, of course, was at Contact in the Desert. And as they do with, you know, attendees who are presenting and doing workshops, they like to have those presenters present and introduce other speakers. And one of the people that they had Greg introduce was Anthony Peake. And I said, hey, that’s kind of funny because, you know, I think it was Anthony Peake whose face appeared in that weird experience that you and Streber talked about. last year that Streber was convinced was Mac Tony’s of crypto terrestrial fame. Now, if you, if you remember, um, I’ve, I talked about this on two different shows back in August of last year, but, and in the August 6th, 2025 episode of anomaly. Now I talked about this and I, I include some of the pictures here linked to the video, this video, which Streber described as This is the single strangest story in the history of Dreamland, Dreamland being the title of the show. And it has to do with his being made aware of a strange face that briefly showed on the screens or was photographed as being shown on the screens behind him at Contact in the Desert. And he and others became convinced that it was an image of sorts of Mac Tonys. Well, I think I expressed at this episode of Anomi Now that I think it was just a glitch and that it was Anthony Peake because he was, they were showing placards for unraveling reality panel from psychedelics to synchronicity that who was going to be on the panel? Anthony Peake. Anyway.
So you may want to go check that out. It’s kind of fun. And then lastly, we’ve got some cryptozoology news. There’s a ton of stuff. We’ve got links to the American Primate Conservancy. That’s americanprimate .org. I think it’s their founder, perhaps, or one of their members. Foxnews .com has this article, Ex -Army Sergeant Recalls Creature Citing That Changed Life After New Bigfoot Reports in Ohio. And then over at the denvergazette .com, he reportedly shot Sasquatch over a weekend of odd encounters in a remote American forest. Then over at thestandard .co .uk, Underwater Drone joins annual hunt for Loch Ness Monster. And then our good friend Tim Banal over at coasttocoastam .com. Links to and reports on a video cryptid patch created by West Virginia Police Department proves wildly popular. And I’ve got to say, this looks like such a cool patch, which has images of Mothman, the Flatwoods monster, and something else that’s hidden by the YouTube button there. But Tim writes, a police department in West Virginia created a special patch celebrating three of the state’s iconic cryptids and the cool collectibles sold out. in less than 24 hours. Unveiled on March 31st by the Granville Police Department, the peculiar piece features Mothman, the Flatwoods Monster, and the Grafton Monster. Amazingly, less than a day after announcing that the patches were available for purchase for $15 with proceeds going towards their Shop with a First Responder program, the department had a follow -up social media post wherein they marveled that they sold their entire stock. And there’s lots of links to explore there, including the video news report about that from local media. That’s pretty cool. Meanwhile, Small Town Monsters has put out a video I have not had the chance to watch called the Sabine Sasquatch Bigfoot Beyond the Trail that I’m very intrigued about because, of course, they are in East Texas investigating reports of Bigfoot -like creatures. And for those of you who remember, you can go to our website and you can listen to my good friend. May you rest in peace. Rob Riggs, where we released a recording of a lecture he gave back in 2014, a few years, a year or two before his passing, where within the broader lecture, he relates this amazing story of when he and I, we just practically met, and his friend, our friend, Chester Moore Jr., knew of a case happening on the Sabine River in East Texas. And we went and boy, some weird stuff happened. So there’s, you can, you don’t have to listen to the whole lecture, but there’s an excerpt. There’s about nine minutes that gets to the heart of this. That’s just, oh my God, I’ve listened to this so many times because, and when he’s like, Miles, you remember this? And I’m like, absolutely everything he says happened. And it’s crazy. We didn’t see a Bigfoot, but we had some crazy synchronicities as Rob Riggs is talking about Chester’s boat called the Swamp Devil and the Legends of the Rougarou.
Okay, I think, I think, I think that’s it.
Well, you can go to the website, go to anomalyarchives .org, go to our YouTube channel. Go to our Patreon. We could really use your support in any form or fashion. Thank you for joining us.
