Military Helicopters, Consciousness Research, and Hidden Connections: Uncovering Modern Anomalies

**Strange Helicopters, Shadowy Clubs, and Memories That Never Were**

When eight Chinook helicopters from Fort Campbell, Kentucky appeared over San Antonio neighborhoods, residents couldn’t help but wonder what was really happening. The concentrated military activity felt disturbing to those familiar with the famous Cash Landrum UFO case (which also involved mysterious helicopters appearing where they shouldn’t be). While the mission remains unclear, *this kind of unexplained activity* deserves our attention.

Investigative journalists recently exposed fascinating connections between Bohemian Grove meetings and subsequent government policy decisions. The exclusive men-only club in San Francisco counts presidents, CEOs, and government officials among its members. Could major policies like mutually assured destruction have originated from these secretive gatherings?

Meanwhile, a content creator shared a Doritos commercial he made twelve years ago—and thousands of people worldwide now claim to remember seeing it air during the Super Bowl, though no official record exists. Is this the Mandela effect, parallel realities, or something else entirely?

From DMT retreats establishing “SETI for the mind” to hundreds of sunken vehicles discovered in Cook County waterways, the unexplained surrounds us. What mysteries are hiding in plain sight?

Tune in to explore these anomalies and discover what else might be lurking just beyond our everyday awareness.

Smiles Lewis hosts Anomaly Now, a weekly podcast for the Scientific Anomaly Institute. He invites listeners to visit anomalyarchives.org and their Patreon for updates and the monthly Anomaly Academy lecture series. Lewis highlights the recent presentation by Jack Hunter on non-human consciousness and the paranormal. He announces several upcoming events, including tabling at Strange and Extraordinary Fest on March 28th and the Austin Archives Bazaar on April 26th. Lewis also promotes a forthcoming presentation by Zillia Edgar on March 21st, who explores interesting paranormal cases and high strangeness encounters. The podcast host discusses mysterious military helicopter sightings over San Antonio, where residents spotted low-flying Chinook helicopters from Fort Campbell, Kentucky across multiple neighborhoods over several days. While military helicopter activity isn’t unusual in the military-heavy Texas city, the host finds the concentrated sightings of eight aircraft somewhat disturbing, particularly given historical precedent like the famous Cash Landrum UFO case involving similar helicopters. The host notes that helicopter missions remain unclear and advises listeners to stay aware, while also briefly referencing concerning connections between various figures in the alternative and paranormal communities and the Epstein files. The speaker discusses Jeffrey Mishlove’s recent video addressing controversies surrounding interviews with individuals connected to the Epstein files, noting Mishlove’s philosophy of maintaining friendships despite disagreements. The speaker also highlights an Al Jazeera report revealing that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was offered the opportunity to purchase a Pentagon-adjacent property worth $116 million in 2016, raising serious security concerns about government real estate dealings. Finally, the speaker recommends More Perfect Union, an Emmy-winning advocacy journalism outlet focused on holding corporations and the wealthy accountable while empowering working-class communities. This podcast segment discusses an investigative video about the Bohemian Club, an exclusive men-only social organization in San Francisco with membership including presidents, CEOs, and government officials. The speakers explore how investigative journalist Daniel Boguslaw obtained membership records and traced connections between Bohemian Grove attendees and subsequent government policy decisions. The discussion references the club’s controversial “Cremation of Care” ceremony and historical infiltration by Alex Jones, while highlighting a newer investigative approach that correlates member meetings with actual policy changes, presenting evidence-based reporting superior to previous conspiracy-focused coverage of the secretive organization. The speaker discusses recent investigations into Bohemian Grove meetings by journalists at More Perfect Union, exploring how major policies like mutually assured destruction may have originated from these exclusive gatherings. The conversation then shifts to DMT research, highlighting a new psychedelic retreat called “SETI for the mind” that aims to establish communication with non-human entities encountered during DMT experiences. The speaker references Terrence McKenna and Dr. Rick Strassman’s work on the subject, acknowledging both the scientific interest and controversy surrounding whether these experiences represent genuine contact or hallucinations. Finally, the speaker mentions INACS launching new content, including a multi-part podcast series on lucid dreaming and out-of-body experiences featuring Tom Campbell. Bob Price, President of the Institute for Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies, introduces a five-part video series examining the connections between lucid dreaming, out-of-body experiences, and remote viewing. The institute, operating for over 30 years, aims to clarify widespread confusion surrounding these extraordinary human abilities through interviews with leading experts who will address preset questions about the relationships among these phenomena. The series seeks to provide scientific research and public education on human consciousness to interested viewers. The speakers discuss concerning cases involving unethical use of hypnosis and unexplained deaths. They examine a tragic incident where Principal George Kenney hypnotized high school students without proper licensing, resulting in three deaths within weeks—including a car crash and two suicides. The speakers emphasize the dangers of applying poorly understood techniques to minors and express sympathy for affected families. They then pivot to analyzing deaths in Houston’s waterways, suggesting the public may be overstating serial killer theories without sufficient evidence, and advocate for more rigorous data analysis rather than fear-mongering narratives. The speaker discusses discoveries of hundreds of potential sunken vehicles in Cook County waterways that may contain evidence of unsolved crimes and missing persons cases. Commander Jason Moran leads the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Project, utilizing new 2024 sonar technology that identified 270 anomalies in major waterways. The speaker draws parallels to similar situations in Houston’s bayous and speculates that Lady Bird Lake incidents may relate to proximity to drinking establishments and college areas. The discussion also touches on recent UAP news developments, including Roswell investigations and government disclosure efforts. The speakers discuss recent developments in UFO disclosure efforts, including Trump’s push to declassify UAP files despite the Navy’s denial of a request for 78 classified photographs. They mention rumors of a presidential disclosure speech potentially scheduled for July, though expressing skepticism about its likelihood. The conversation shifts to the mysterious disappearance of retired Major General William Neal McCasland in New Mexico, a significant military figure linked to Tom DeLonge’s UFO disclosure initiative through WikiLeaks-exposed communications. While authorities suggest possible dementia, UFO community sources dispute this, noting McCasland is an avid hiker who deliberately left behind tracking devices, suggesting a voluntary departure rather than cognitive impairment. The speaker discusses recent Pentagon UFO controversies, highlighting a Garber Files article examining the Wall Street Journal’s claims about military disinformation operations. He notes that skeptics like John Greenwald are demanding evidence and accountability, questioning why military personnel allegedly pranked haven’t been informed. The speaker then addresses concerning incidents in El Paso, where the military twice used lasers against targets initially claimed to be cartel drones but later identified as a party balloon and a border protection drone. These repeated closures of airspace have disrupted critical flights, including medical emergencies, raising serious questions about military competence in border defense. The speaker discusses various paranormal and cryptid-related media, including research questioning whether paranormal believers are more authoritarian, news about stone showers in Zimbabwe, and cryptozoology articles covering Bigfoot and lake monster sightings. A notable story involves a content creator who made a Doritos Super Bowl commercial submission twelve years ago that never gained official recognition, yet many people now claim to remember it as a famous aired commercial. The creator explores whether this represents a Mandela effect phenomenon, parallel realities, or potential corporate use of his work without his knowledge. The speaker discusses a viral video phenomenon where a creator shared a Doritos commercial featuring flying pigs that he made twelve years ago. Despite the video garnering millions of views and tens of thousands of comments from people worldwide claiming to remember seeing it, no record of the original advertisement exists online except for his upload. Interestingly, a similar official Doritos commercial appeared years later, leading to speculation about whether people are misremembering or experiencing a Mandela effect. The speaker finds the situation genuinely puzzling and recommends viewers check out the full video for more details and to help investigate this peculiar mystery. The host wraps up the episode by encouraging listeners to remain vigilant and curious about the unusual and unexplained phenomena surrounding us. They emphasize the importance of staying observant across all domains—the skies, waters, and our own consciousness—as strange occurrences can happen at any time. The episode concludes with an enthusiastic farewell, leaving audiences with a sense of wonder and anticipation for future mysterious encounters.

TRANSCRIPT

EWA 517, do you want to report a UFO? Over.

Look, it wasn’t my worst Wednesday night.

Hello, and welcome to another edition of Anomaly Now. I’m your host, Smiles Lewis. This is the weekly news and media roundup for the 501c3 Nonprofit Scientific Anomaly Institute, aka Anomaly Archives. Please go to our website, anomalyarchives .org, or our patreon .com slash anomalyarchives page. You can sign up for a free account and get updates and information about all the news and outreach that we do. And every month, if you’re at a certain level or higher, you get access to our Anomaly Academy monthly lecture series. This past… This past weekend, we had a really great presentation by Jack Hunter of Minds and Monsters, an exploration of non -human consciousness and the paranormal. That was a lot of fun. Excuse me. Thank you, Jack. It is Wednesday, March 4th, 2024, and we are marching forth. I’m going to breeze through a bunch of news really quickly here. Hopefully it’s not going to end up being as long of an episode as last week. But yeah, busy, busy. So much going on in my life personally and in the world. Gosh, don’t get me started. All right. Well, yeah, over at, oh, that’s what I forgot to do. So yeah, over at our website, there are show notes for each episode of the Anomaly Now show going back to when it launched in 2020. Except for the year 2022. That’s when we went on a hiatus. And we try to do it weekly. Usually do, but then there’s breaks, obviously. Holidays, things happen. But yes, anomalyarchives .org slash video slash anomaly dash now. I think that’s the long URL. And then there’s groupings by year. And each episode, each show has a separate show notes page. Again, this is a video, vodcast, vlog, whatever you want to call it. So there is a video component, and maybe you’re listening, watching that. But there is also an audio -only version that goes out on YouTube, on Spreaker, on Spotify, and a bunch of other podcatchers, I’m sure. So a lot of different ways to watch or listen. We also do stream on our Facebook page. That’s facebook .com slash anomalyarchives. We have a Twitch channel, but, you know. that’s mostly gamers and we get like Harvey interviews there, but we get, you know, the word spreads coming up in a couple of weeks. We’ve got some stuff happening and let me get this going here.

So yeah, excuse me, goodness. Strange and Extraordinary Fest, we will be tabling at their Bizarre Bazaar. That’s going to be the weekend of March 28th, 2026. A bunch of great speakers and vendors there will be in the vendors room. And we’d love to see you. We’d love to see you support this kind of a strange and extraordinary festival. Then coming up in April, that’s April 26th, 2026 is the latest Austin Archives Bazaar. We’ve tabled at almost all of those before. We’d love. Love the Austin Archives Bazaar and the multitude of other weird, interesting archives that are out there. This is not specifically a paranormal -related event, but it is a showcasing of the various types of archives that exist in and around Texas, in and around Austin and across Texas. And of course, we, me, I like to go and hang out with… our friends at the local Austin Disclosure Meetup group. That’s the Area 512 Meetup group. And of course, you should always check out our friend Saul Ravencraft’s efforts. There’s, of course, our usual links to free online publications. I think I mentioned all of those on the last episode. There’s a bunch of upcoming events from Mystery to Method, the SUAPS MOOC seminar series, as well as UAP Med’s Human Institute. Actually, I think that already came. Of course, so Jack Hunter, that one already happened. Oh, yeah, I might as well mention just real quick. Coming up later this month on March 21st, our wonderful friend Zillia Edgar is going to be giving a presentation. That’s going to be very interesting. She always chooses interesting angles to weird encounters, high strangeness cases. And yeah, I think you’re going to be really excited to hear about what she’s put together this time. Again, going back to our show notes, there’s so much to cover. And,

well, gosh, where to begin? Yeah, I’m going to start with some weird conspiracy stuff, folks.

This is over at KSAT 12. That’s KSAT News 12 in San Antonio. They’ve got a really brief report here. about some odd things seen in the sky that have people unnerved there. Let’s see if I can share this. Here we go. Oh, I didn’t. Sorry, folks. Didn’t have the information, but. And let’s get that a little bigger there. Okay.

And while some people are on high alert after seeing a group of low flying helicopters. The choppers, which apparently belong to the military, have been the talk of social media. Yeah, a lot of people raising a lot of questions about these. Katrina Weber tells us why the source of all that buzz in local neighborhoods may be far from home themselves. The images in San Antonio skies have made a long -lasting impression on the ground. It was a little nerve -wracking.

Daryl Melanson was taking out the trash Monday evening. When he heard a thundering noise over his neighborhood near I -10 and Dezabala.

And I could see them, you know, three of them.

An odd sight. Military choppers information.

Why would they have the helicopters here? Why are they flying? Why are they going so low? People across sites such as Reddit and Nextdoor have the same questions. They said, have you seen this? And what’s going on? I mean, there’s a major concern for it. She missed out on the overhead air show but read about it online.

I see a squadron Chinooks with tandem rotor blades flying. Even to this Vietnam and Gulf War veteran, it’s a strange sight. It makes me aware of them. I keep my eye on them because I think, you know, why are they coming so low? The sightings have been far and wide all across the city and not just in one day.

Sightings have been far and wide all across the city and not just in one day. People on the northeast side began posting on social media about choppers. two days before the Monday night sightings on the northwest side. And Tuesday morning, people on the west side near Lackland began spotting them. According to the Texas military department, those helicopters are far from home, out of Fort Campbell in Kentucky. But so far, their mission here is unclear. We’re being attacked or could be that we’re going to have something, being attacked or could be that we’re going to have something, you know, more than practice. Election day, Iran, the craziness of, you know, just everything. In the meantime, it has speculation flying high. Katrina Weber, KSAT -12 News.

Yeah, so I find that a little disturbing. But, you know, there’s a lot of military bases in San Antonio. It is a military town. It is not really that unusual to see military helicopters over central Texas flying from base to base, city to city. Though I must admit, I’ve never seen eight Chinooks. double rotor type of helicopter that are usually for cargo and troop transport and which of course feature prominently in the famous Texas case of the Cash Landrum UFO case where the diamond with flames coming out of it is floating over a rural road in near the Houston area and Cash, Betty Cash Landrum and their grandson Cody all witnessed this object. And it was surrounded by allegedly somewhere like 20, 12 to 20. Like, I think it’s as high as 20 Chinook double rotor style helicopters, which it was on New Year’s or Christmas Eve. So anyway, yeah, I’ve never seen eight fly. And they’re saying that these have been seen all around the city. But again, not that unusual. But again, the Army saying that they’re from Kentucky, very worrisome.

Who knows? Just be aware, folks. Meanwhile, in Epstein conspiracy news, you know, we alluded to in our last show how so many people in the anomalous community seen UFOs and paranormal and alternative health and alternative media. Their names are turning up in the Epstein files. And of course, that doesn’t necessarily imply. criminality on their part, though in some cases where they seem to have reached out to people who reached out to Epstein after he had already been convicted in 2008, it seems a bit untoward, to be kind, to put it mildly. You know, obviously everybody’s got their own opinion about this, but I was surprised to see Jeffrey Mishlove over at his New Thinking Aloud YouTube channel doing this video that’s about 25 minutes long of him kind of talking, talking very frankly about this whole issue and in his usual jolly happy way. And as he says, he wants to be friends with everybody, even people he disagrees with. And while there’s definitely things about this video that I agree with and I’m glad to hear him say. There’s plenty of stuff there. I’m like thinking this is not going to sit well with some people. And I understand why he even goes so far as to talk about this particular UFO researcher who’s kind of come into prominence, but who many have identified as having very strong fascist leanings. And he Jeffrey Mishlove literally says that he in one of his interviews with him, he espoused fascist beliefs that, of course, he Jeffrey. completely disagrees with and this gets into some political areas of disagreement between them but he reasserts how he likes this this man despite that so very interesting not a mea culpa not a not it basically it’s him saying so many of the people he’s interviewed over the years have are appearing in the jeffrey epstein files and how there seems to be as he says a witch hunt against people for that. And yeah, again, worth a watch. You might want to check it out. I’m not going to play any of that here, but you can go check it out. Now, another weird one, haven’t really had the chance to digest, but over at aljazeera .com, I know this is not considered a good news source by some, but I’ve seen plenty of good reporting there in years past. This headline, Files Reveal Epstein Was Offered Chance to Buy. U .S. Pentagon FBI buildings. What? Subheading, new files show Epstein, who had close ties to Israel, was offered sensitive U .S. government real estate deals. Okay, this seems very odd. The first two paragraphs say, emails released in the United States Department of Justice files show that the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was offered the chance to buy into a sprawling building tied to the Department of Defense in 2016, according to United Kingdom broadcaster ITV News. The 84 ,710 square meter, that’s over 101 ,000 square yards, Spellinger Complex, located roughly 1 .6, or about a mile, from the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, was described in an investor deck as a, quote, mission -critical site and, quote, the only property in Arlington, Virginia, other than the Pentagon itself, with the ability to meet the space and infrastructure needs of the DoD. The proposed purchase price was about $116 million. The structure of the deal would have made Epstein a co -owner and effectively a landlord to the U .S. government. There is no evidence that the transaction went ahead, but the prospect of a convicted sex offender acquiring a stake in property serving the Pentagon raises serious security questions, to say the least. Yeah, I just thought that’s kind of anomalous. I just thought we’d… Let y ‘all be aware of that. Meanwhile, not Epstein related, but there’s a there’s a YouTube channel that is very political and I find their reporting very good. And it is a channel called More Perfect Union, which obviously has a certain meaning.

More Perfect Union MPU is an Emmy award -winning advocacy journalism nonprofit built on a simple mission, quote, building power for the working class, unquote. We’re holding the ultra -rich and powerful corporations accountable and empowering the working class to take back power. Now, this is a site that I would say I’ve never seen anything that I would describe as conspiracy theory or conspiracy -oriented other than the fact that, you know, businesses, corporations, and the people who run them commit crimes. This is just part of humanity’s history. It’s not really an anomaly. Or is it? I’m not sure. But I was surprised to see this video. It’s a 17 -minute video called… Oh, and now where is it? Where’s the title? We uncovered the most infamous secret society, and the truth is shocking. And what’s it about? I was not expecting this. Behind this door, through this gate, and under these trees… The drone wasn’t able to fly where we wanted it to go. It keeps dropping signal.

There is a real and actual secret society, a group of the most powerful, actual secret society, a group of the most powerful, wealthy men in the world going back over a century.

The Bohemian Club is an invite -only, men -only social club in San Francisco that’s long been the center of conspiracy theory. Have you been there for the ceremony with the cremation of care? I don’t think that’s something I need to talk to you about. Especially surrounding their yearly encampments at Bohemian Grove. allegedly meant for the ultra -powerful to just bro -lax and bro -ow. Seal Team Six came to Lakeside Talks. That’s key.

This is where they would keep all of the sex workers during the grove. Presidents, CEOs, bankers, lobbyists, Supreme Court justices, CIA directors, and those are just the people who’ve been disclosed already. The full membership is meant to be completely private. But investigative reporter Daniel Boguslaw reached out to More Perfect Union with something wild. This is every member of Bohemian Club, and this is everyone who attended the 2023 Summer Academy. So anyway, basically, yes, it’s about 17 minutes long, and they do something that I really appreciate, which is they comb through modern policy documents, recent changes in government policy, and trace the people who initiated those policies to… their meetings with the people who helped facilitate those policies at Bohemian Grove. And of course, for those who aren’t familiar, this is a place that’s been talked about for a long time by right -wing conspiracy theorists. But as you see in this little mini -doc, there’s the wonderful older woman who’s very much a kind of left -wing hippie, living off the grid activist, who also has been documenting all this stuff for for decades living right near the grove and of course it was austin’s alex jones spurred on by brit the guy who wrote the men who stare at goats spurred him on to infiltrate the grove and so he and alex jones and mike hansen his his cameraman back in the day from here when in their austin access television days infiltrated the grove and videotaped I believe for the first time, this infamous cremation of care mock human sacrifice, which some people have long speculated or feared was not a mock sacrifice, but was a real sacrifice disguised or claimed to be a mock sacrifice to a 40 foot stone owl statue that. Alex, and this is where Alex seems to have introduced to the conspiracy world the idea that Moloch, a biblical, usually bull -shaped statue god from the Bible that people sacrifice their children to, was also being portrayed as an owl. The statue at Bohemian Grove, he says, is proof that Moloch is sometimes… depicted as an owl, and owls figure highly into, obviously, lots of occult and esoteric milieus, but also the bohemian club that is the originator of this bohemian grove getaway.

Anyway, I’m actually very impressed with their reporting on this, and it’s, to my mind, loads better than the expose that Alex did back in the day. This strangely features also just connected to some other things like the famous Frostbank Tower in Austin that is often described as the Owl Tower. Because of the way it looks like a clock tower, the Frostbank logos on each of the four sides viewed from the corner. Like any clock tower, the clocks look like the eyes and the Frostbank logos look like eyes. And Mike Hansen years ago, even though everybody says this is urban legend, that there’s no proof that these claims are true. I believe it was Mike Hansen who first claimed on Alex’s Access TV show way back in the day, 2003 or four, that he attended a party with the architects. And one of the architects behind the creation of that building claimed that he was from Rice University. Mascot, of course, is the Longhorn, and Rice University’s mascot is, you guessed it, an owl. What does this all mean? Well, it sounds like a lot of conflating of myth and rumor, but here these journalists over at More Perfect Union are trying to actually dig into policy and the membership and guest lists of these Bohemian Grove meetings. And showing how, and this is something that Alex did report on years back in his documentary, that several big things like MAD, mutually assured destruction with nuclear deterrent, ideas like that, and other ideas that then became actual government policy seem to have originated at these fireside chats at the Grove. Spooky stuff. What are you going to do?

All right. I’ll go. Click over here now. And what am I going to do here? Next up. Ah, yes. Over at Wired .com. Some people see aliens while on DMT. Researchers want to find out what they can teach us. A new psychedelic retreat calling itself a SETI for the mind aims to establish two -way communication with the non -human entities people encounter while tripping on DMT. We’ve talked about this on and off again whenever this pops up in the news cycle. Of course, Terrence McKenna, legendary psychonaut and psychedelics advocate and weird reality theorist, was the one who really popularized the idea of aliens being something that we can encounter in the DMT and psychedelic mushroom states, but particularly DMT. And he wasn’t the only one to take notice of this legendary consciousness researcher. And Strassman, forgetting his first name, doctor, his first name is doctor. Dr. Strassman did a book and research based on his research called DMT, the spirit molecule. It, of course, is filled with its own controversial elements that go beyond just the controversy of, oh, how can you trust any drug induced experience as being real and having communication with real entities? It’s all just hallucination. Well. I would argue it is more complicated than that and that this is worth checking out. I haven’t really had the chance to see what more is described in this research, though. I think we did report on something similar, or if not this very program, several months back last year. A web of EEG electrodes covered Anton Bilton’s scalp like a jeweled headdress. The machine would map his brain activity while the potent psychedelic dimethyltryptamine, commonly known as DMT, coursed through an ID drip and into his bloodstream. With some trepidation, he waited to be plunged into an otherworldly realm that was familiar given his many years of psychedelic experience, and yet, as was inevitably the case with every DMT trip, completely new. I didn’t know when they were going to turn it on, he says. It was eight minutes of having your head in a guillotine waiting for it to fucking drop.

Then like a rocket ripping out of Earth’s atmosphere, he arrives and he knew he was being watched, not only by the humans back in the hospital room, but also by a panoply of alien beings within the DMT realm itself. Well, yeah, you can read the rest of this over at Wired .com. However, it is like so many sites. They get a certain number of free viewings and then they… put it behind a paywall. You can find a copy over at archive .ph, and we’ve got the link to that there so that you can actually read it without having to use the paywall. Sorry, Wired. Meanwhile, our good friends over at INAX, the Institute for Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies, inacs .org, where I also used to be a board member, my good friends there have started putting… videos back online and they’ve launched a new podcast of sorts a new series and this one is a multi -part series called lucid dreaming and out -of -body experience with tom campbell tom campbell of course being incredibly popular online because of his his big toe theory toe theory of everything and i’m just glad to see new content coming out of our good friends inax over at their youtube channel And yes, this is about an hour and 10 minutes, and it’s just part one.

Welcome to part one of a five -part video series exploring the relationship between lucid dreaming and out -of -body experience, otherwise known as OBE, as well as their link with remote viewing. Before we begin our interview, a brief word on why we’re embarking on this project.

I’m Bob Price, President of the Institute for Neuroscience and Consciousness Studies, or INACS, a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to providing scientific research and public education into human consciousness. We’ve been developing programs like this for over 30 years, and we’ve found an enormous interest, but also a lot of confusion surrounding extraordinary human abilities such as lucid dreaming, out -of -body experience, and remote viewing. This series is focused on exploring and improving our understanding of these experiences for our viewers. To accomplish that goal, we’ll be interviewing a number of the top experts in the field. We’ll be asking each of them a preset series of questions designed to elucidate the relationship among these three human experiences. Anyway, you can check out the rest of that over at their YouTube channel. That would be youtube .com slash at symbol INACS org. That’s at I -N -A -C -S -O -R -G. Check it out, folks. Meanwhile, yeah, Julia Mossbridge over at her Medium blog. That’s jmossbridge .medium .com. The pursuit of truth, technologies, validity, and human cost, an analysis of deception detection, intelligence trauma, and the future of disclosure. This is a very interesting and worthwhile thought experiment, as well as very personal description of her recent experience undergoing a polygraph test as part of a job or program requirement. And how it felt rather traumatizing to her. I always really appreciate Julia Mossbridge’s perspectives on any subject dealing with the anomalous. I have never met her, but I imagine she’s somebody that you’re always going to have the best conversations with. And she just seems very genuine and, how shall I say, has a good moral ethical compass. And I think that is so needed now more than ever. So, yes, this article, Mission Shift the Polygraph Needle, is a very interesting exploration of that. And I definitely feel it’s worth your time. And you should go check that out over at jmossbridge .medium .com. So, yeah, and she’s not just like complaining. She’s actually proposing ideas for how to approach these issues. And basically, it just comes down to criticizing. The traditional polygraph for being as it is known to be very fallible and not reliable and very much ridiculous that it’s still in use as part of any kind of, you know, critical analysis of people’s moral compass or ability to tell the truth. So, but it goes well beyond that. And I think you should check that out. Now, this next one is very strangely consciousness related. I don’t really know the details of it, but this is over at Inside Edition’s YouTube channel. Three students die after being hypnotized by principal docu -series. Now, I think I put this in the links to last week’s show, but I don’t know that I played it or even mentioned it. This is a case that I had not heard about that apparently occurred back in 2000 or it started in 2010. But I don’t know how much news coverage it ever got, perhaps beyond this local situation. But a school principal apparently was in the habit of hypnotizing students for various reasons. And three of those students, after being hypnotized by him, died within. a year or two or maybe three in ways that were considered very suspect. I’m not going to make any speculations here. Let’s play just a little of this. And I recognize Inside Edition is obviously a very sensationalistic news outlet, so to speak, tabloid outlet. And this is rather sensationalistic, but I want people to think about it. because of the use of hypnosis and how prominent the use of hypnosis has been in the study of anomalous events, particularly UFO close encounters, particularly alien abduction. And I do think if you research things like the CIA’s MKUltra program and its many subprograms and the wild claims associated with it, you can find kernels of truth and information that… I think, really should cause concern. And this is just an example of that.

Did being hypnotized lead to their deaths? That’s the question about three high school students who died within weeks of each other after allegedly being hypnotized by their principal. Allison Hall has the details. These three teens from the same high school died within weeks of each other, and they had all undergone hypnosis. by their school principal. Now the baffling story is the subject of a new investigation discovery documentary, The Curious Case of the Principal Who Hypnotized His School.

How dare he? Principal George Kenney hypnotized 16 -year -old Marcus Freeman to improve his football performance. But Marcus lost his life in a car crash after he apparently hypnotized himself. His girlfriend, Carly O ‘Boyle, was in the car and survived the 2011 accident.

Can you talk about the day of the crash?

What happened? I like look over.

This is a nightmare image in my head, mind you. And his arms are like straight and his head is just back. Like that. Like he’s out of it. Then another hypnosis subject, 16 -year -old Wesley McKinley, took his own life. And Wesley’s death was followed by yet another suicide. that of Brittany Palumbo, who was allegedly hypnotized by the principal months before for test anxiety.

After an investigation, the principal was charged with practicing therapeutic hypnosis without a license. A misdemeanor. He pleaded no contest.

So, yeah, there’s probably a lot more to this story. I feel so terribly for the family and the community. who have suffered these losses at the hands of this individual and their reckless use of a little understood technique. Yeah, much in the same way that, you know, 18 and under youth children, non -adults, can’t always be considered to make the best decisions when certain risk factors are at play. Then again, I don’t know if this was done without the parents’ consent, but gosh, it’s quite concerning. Moving right along, several other videos here. So, you know, this whole issue of is there a serial killer on the loose in Houston that’s creating this mass of bodies in the bayous of Houston or here in Austin with Lady Bird Lake, all the deaths associated with Town Lake, Lady Bird Lake, or that runs through just south of downtown Austin. I think there’s a lot more here that indicates this is likely not the work of a serial killer or serial killers. But these two, there’s a couple of videos I think are worth your time. This one’s about 22 minutes over at KPRC to click to Houston channel. This is, again, a Houston news channel called Bodies in the Bayou Inside the Mystery of 200 Deaths in Houston’s Waterways.

Not only is the public obsessed that this potentially could be a serial killer, this potentially could be a serial killer, from my perspective, it almost appears like they want there to be a serial killer.

Every single body that’s recovered from the bayou has an autopsy performed by the Institute for Forensic Science. What does it say Kenneth’s cause and manner of death is? Undetermined and undetermined.

Well, another body has been found in a Houston bayou marking the 32nd death in the city’s waterways this year. There is a huge frustration amongst family members. They want answers. What happened to their loved one? We knew the second that we knew he was missing, second that we knew he was missing, something happened to him.

Grief is intensified when justice is lacking. We’ve got to attack this from a lot of different ways, but, you know, stoking fear about a serial killer is not one of them.

So, yeah. Interesting. And I’m hearing more and more how I think there can be some better analysis of this data and a comparison with other situations. And one of the things I’ve seen in Houston is they keep reporting how, oh, there’s also a lot of cars in these bayous. And of course, cars being dumped in rivers and lakes and such is a way that people often get rid of evidence of crimes. Sometimes there are bodies in those vehicles. And so in some cases, the thought is that perhaps these are bodies that have been… hidden for some time inside of these vehicles that are submerged. And so this caught my attention from about a week ago, NBC Chicago’s channel, hundreds of anomalies, quote unquote, that look like sunken cars lurk in Cook County waterways. And just as I’ve seen reporting about these cars being found in Houston waterways in the bayous, here too is… This reporting about that. The BC5 investigates missing. In Chicago. Cases that have gotten unsolved. It’s what the National Institute of Justice calls a silent mass disaster. In Illinois alone, there are nearly 500 open cases.

Now the Cook County Sheriff’s Office says it has a new tool for detectives. And BC5’s Rose Schmidt takes us to the waterways. Lurking beneath the surface of these cold, muddy waters lies a graveyard of unknowns.

They’re all a mystery. That’s why they’re there.

As head of the Cook County Sheriff’s Missing Persons Project, Commander Jason Moran is interested in solving each mystery. It’s just one place that you can’t easily search.

In the waters that conceal them. Is there a potential for cars or other items to be concealed that potentially has, there a potential for cars or other items to be concealed that potentially has, you know, the bodies of missing persons within? In 2024, the county shared sonar underwater maps with the sheriff’s office. Throughout all the major waterways in Cook County, they discovered 270 potential anomalies.

Many of them look like cars. We have obvious, you know, past evidence of other crimes that occur where cars are used in crimes and bodies are women. What do we do here?

That’s a lot of anomalies. And I would bet that there’s a similar situation in the Houston bayous. And I’ve seen reporting more or less indicating that. Now, I haven’t really seen or heard anything. along those lines for the Lady Bird Lake situation. But again, as I’ve said in past news reports about this, I think it has more to do with the proximity to heavy drinking zones like 6th Street and the Rainey Street District and being a college town with the university so close to the river and the drinking establishments being so close to the river. That’s just a guess. I have a feeling I may be hearing from a researcher soon with more information about this, but I can’t really speak to that. But I did just hear something today that makes me think that that’s a possibility. All right. Well, there’s so much news that I’m not going to get to, but I wanted to briefly touch on in our UFO UAP news section, there’s a couple of different articles from Kevin Randall’s blog. Did the balloon debris ever reach Wright -Patterson Air Force Base? as well as why Jesse Marcel dropped out of the investigation into the Roswell crash. There’s this article from thespacereview .com called All’s Well That’s Roswell. And it’s more of a dismissive, you know, making the tinfoil hat references and not questioning the official story, official disinformation stories, as I would put it. Meanwhile, there’s more Saul Foundation Conference. Videos being released, including Jacques Vallée’s. Yay! A forgotten UAP event and its ramifications for the science of the phenomenon with Jacques Vallée. Can’t wait to watch that. Very excited that they keep putting out videos from that. Of course, with this whole brouhaha over Obama and then Trump talking about disclosure and whether or not they’re aliens and to release the UFO files, which of course is already part of the GOP’s transparency group that, you know, has been putting out the JFK files, the RFK, MLK assassination files, and was supposed to cover COVID, 9 -11, and UFOs, and yada, yada, yada. Well, we’ve got headlines like Hegseth doubles down on Trump’s UAP disclosure promise as Arrow’s caseload exceeds 2 ,000. That’s over at defensescoop .com. The Black Vault, John Greenwald Jr. reports. Despite Trump’s call to release UAP files, Navy denies appeal for 78 classified UAP photographs. And there’s some other weird things happening. Well, you know, to the same news headlines, Secretary of War, quote, we’ve got our people working on it right now. That over at sentinel -news .org, referring to again, Pete Heggseth speaking to the president. call to declassify the alien files. Yeah, we’ll see if anything pans out with that. But then again, there are these rumors that the president has a speech prepared for a UFO or disclosure -related speech prepared for July, some say July 8th, not holding my breath. And even if it does happen, as several people have said, half the country will believe it and half the country won’t.

Meanwhile, there’s some very… Disturbing news, you know, there’s this missing woman that’s captivated the country, but there’s also now a missing man from the military who’s central to the post -2017 UFO disclosure movement in so much as his connection to Tom DeLonge, who, of course, initiated all of that and was revealed in the WikiLeaks. And that is this article over at newsweek .com. Who is William Neal McCasland, ex -U .S. general linked to UFO research, missing? That’s right. Newsweek and other outlets are reporting how… Excuse me here.

This William McCasland is missing in New Mexico. Authorities in New Mexico are asking for the public’s help in locating retired Major General William Neal McCasland, a longtime leader at Kirtland Air Force Base. and former commander of the Phillips Research Site and Air Force Research Laboratory. There’s concern and statements to the effect that he may have some kind of dementia. And, you know, he’s obviously been a significant person in the military and the technology areas. But Newsweek reports here, McCaslin’s WikiLeaks connection, McCaslin’s name appeared in the 2016 WikiLeaks release of emails from John Podesta. Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman in a series of communications between Podesta and Blink -182 guitarist and prominent UFO researcher Tom DeLong, DeLong described McCasland as a key advisor on several UFO -related projects. DeLong told Podesta that he had been, quote, working with McCasland for four months and that the retired general was already offering him advice on how to move forward with his UFO disclosure initiative. So, given the current situation with these… current and past presidents talking about aliens and the talk of disclosure being possibly imminent, this man’s sudden disappearance seems very strange. And, yeah. Meanwhile, Pavel over at Psychoactivo YouTube channel has a video called Conflicting Data on General McCaslin Raises Major Concerns in the UFO Community. It’s there’s there’s been the suggestion that maybe McCasland is is having cognitive issues, dementia or what have you, and maybe have, you know, confused and and lost. Whereas there’s others saying, no, no, that’s just people’s assumption because of the use of the quote unquote silver alert system and how that often implies an elderly person missing and likely due to some cognitive issues. But that they’re saying that that wasn’t necessarily the case. with Mr. McCasland in that he’s an avid hiker and is not suffering from any dementia or cognitive issues, allegedly, and that it’s just that it’s a silver alert because of him being of a certain age. But there are reports from people involved in the search, allegedly, that he is not cognitively impaired and that he seems to have deliberately left behind his cell phone and smartwatch or other things that might be used to track him. So, you know, it’s almost certainly a simple explanation of he’s a hiker and he’s had an accident and hopefully he’s okay. But yes, given his connection to the modern UFO UAP post -2017 disclosure scene, or even though I don’t think he’s been particularly active in it, but he was clearly part of the lead up to it. through Tom DeLonge and communications with Podesta and so forth. But we’ll have to keep an eye on that. Meanwhile, a good friend sent me this link, the Pentagon’s UFO PSYOP. It’s from a substack called Garber Files. That’s G -A -R -B -E -R -F -I -L -E -S dot substack dot com, the Pentagon’s UFO PSYOP. It’s actually, it’s basically talking about the Wall Street Journal and that whole angle of, oh, surprise. The government has been using disinformation and pranks and perpetrating the creation of the modern UFO myth. And as others like John Greenwald and others have tried to push back and say, OK, well, where’s your evidence, Wall Street Journal? This article actually does a really good job of writing, exploring this idea. And I think that’s a good thing. And you might want to go check that out. The Pentagon’s UFOs part one, what happened when the Wall Street Journal reported a massive military disinformation operation then stopped. But it makes a lot of the important comments about, well, again, where is the evidence for this? If this really happened, tell us the proof. And why hasn’t anybody been held accountable? And if this did affect thousands or tens of thousands or just one to 10 ,000 people. You know, don’t they have a right to be told, these military people who were pranked? But something else in this article is linked to another recent interview with former deputy director of Arrow, the All -Domain Anomaly Resolution Office, Tim Phillips, who we’ve reported on the various news that’s come about over the last year or so about him, where he went on this interview tour, so to speak. And seemingly then was fired. But that apparently was not true. He was not fired. He was already retiring. And he states that’s a misrepresentation of what actually happened. But he definitely has some interesting things to say. And the interview itself, which is not really a part of this Garber Files article, but it was this article that made me aware of it. And I’ve since listened to that. So you’ll want to follow the links there and check that out. I think it’s worth your time as well. Yeah, meanwhile, so all kinds of other news links related to UFOs. We’ve also got this whole craziness in El Paso. That’s West Texas folks on there on the Texas -Mexico border, United States -Mexico border. You’ve probably heard about these multiple FAA flight closures above and around El Paso Airport and how the FAA was was very frustrated by the militaries forcing this to happen. The first incident, the military claimed that they had shot down some cartel, Mexican cartel drones, with a new laser anti -drone technology. But guess what? It allegedly turned out to be a party balloon, which often create fake or false UFO reports. UFOs that turn out to later be IFOs, identifiable flying objects, or floating, as the case may be. And then this happened again more recently. And the headline, U .S. military used lasers to take down border protection drone, lawmakers say. This is over by the Associated Press, APNews .com. And my gosh, like, you know, it’s really starting to look like a lot of ineptitude, folks. And I’m sure this is very concerning for people. in the military worried about the defending of our country’s borders from drone incursions, whether they be from drug cartels or foreign adversaries or even the general public. But my gosh, this is a bit much when it’s happened twice now. You may not think of El Paso as being a particularly busy city, but these closures interfere with important… flights like life -saving flights from helicopters transporting patients to hospitals or, you know, organs for organ transplants and that sort of thing. I mean, there’s all kinds of negative repercussions of this. Meanwhile, in our paranormal and parapsychology section, we’ve got a number of articles, psychics, ghosts, auras in the UCLA research lab that studied it all. That is over at whyy .org. Also over at… EVworld .com. I’m open to the reality of the paranormal and I hate authoritarianism. What does that make me? And this is, of course, in response to claims by some science articles that people who believe in the paranormal are gullible and more likely to lean a certain way politically towards authoritarian belief systems. Not really sure that’s valid research, but it’s causing curious discussions, I’m sure. Meanwhile, this one reported over… coast2coastam .com inexplicable stone showers force wrenchers to abandon residents in Zimbabwe and also this Suburban Sublime article from I think I already mentioned this from over at Artforum that’s by Shannon yeah I think I already talked about this yeah by Shannon Taggart Suburban Sublime on the Paranormal Archive of Sorat alright close to winding up here folks oh

Lots of cryptozoology articles. There’s lots of articles on Bigfoot sightings, on lake monster sightings. There’s a news article. Kentucky adds another cryptid festival. And interesting video. Panther filmed by a couple in England. And I thought this news was really interesting. Immersive cryptids exhibit unveiled at Ripley’s Museum in Florida. And you can watch a local news video as they are given a tour of this Ripley’s. cryptid exhibit. And I, you know, I think it’s actually pretty neat. Obviously, Ripley’s is not like considered a scientific institution, but I think their approach to this subject matter seems pretty appropriate. Lastly, we have these miscellaneous mystery articles. Artificial intelligence unlocks hundreds of cosmic anomalies in Hubble archive. Meanwhile, over at phys .org, geologists may have solved mystery of Green River’s uphill route. And let’s see. Oh, this one. Okay. I’m, this is great. I made a famous commercial and somehow never knew full story. This is sort of a sort of pseudo Mandela effect video situation that I’m, I’m fascinated by this situation. There’s the 16 minute video by this gentleman, this young man that goes by the name, his channel name is aspiring alchemist. And he posted this two weeks ago. And it basically amounts to 12 years ago, years ago, he made a video commercial that was to promote Doritos. And it was part of a Doritos Super Bowl contest. They were asking people to create Doritos commercials and submit them to Doritos for a contest. And the winner would win a bunch of money. And and the video would be played during the Super Bowl. Well, this gentleman created such a video. And yeah, let’s just watch a little bit of the beginning of this. If I can get this to play. Oh, gosh, come on.

This is insane. There’s a crazy global phenomenon going on right now that I’m at the center of. And it’s for sure the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. But right now, a big portion of the general public are convinced. that I created a famous classic Super Bowl commercial for Doritos. Please, if anybody has any record or archive or artifact of this thing airing somewhere, hit me up. I did create that commercial, but it wasn’t seen by anybody. It never got any recognition. It wasn’t even an official commercial for them. And it’s still unfolding, but it’s very interesting. So either A, it’s some sort of weird, trippy, mass psychosis, like Mandela effect type thing, or maybe parallel realities, or if that’s… what’s really happening or be what our logical mind would say Doritos has been ripping me off for many years and I just somehow never knew. And I’m like one of the few people that just had no idea. I don’t know what’s happening. It’s still unfolding, but nobody can even find a record of this thing so far anywhere online except for my original upload. This was 12 years ago, by the way, on YouTube, which has like no engagement. I’m sure after this video, probably start getting a little bit more because people are going to be returning to it. So, OK, let’s tell the story from the beginning.

So yeah, he tells the story. He goes into quite a bit of detail. There is a short version of this, but yeah. So there was this crash the Superbowl win million us dollars. I guess that was the first place thing. He creates the video and it’s, I swear to God, the moment I watched this, I instantly felt like, Oh, I’ve seen this before. And that’s the reaction by so many people. swear that they’ve seen this this video people from all around the world and i and it’s just like i talked about before with the mandela effect one of the things that really intrigues me about the mandela effect is how so many of the situations involve brands or branding or product product brands and their logos that in and of itself i find really fascinating here’s a little bit of that video i think so i posted it i showed the ad a little bit of that video i think so i posted it i showed the ad Actually, let me show it to you right now. Here’s the commercial.

Are those Doritos?

Yeah. Can I have one? Yeah, right. That’ll happen the day the pigs can shoot lasers out of their butts.

Uh -uh.

I had to say butts.

So I share the commercial and millions of views start coming in, tens of thousands of comments across platforms of people that are like, we’ve all seen this commercial. Like they think I’m gaslighting them. They think I’m like lying for clout or like something. By the way, the annoying thing about whenever I uploaded that first TikTok where I was just sharing the video is because I did it through this weird, weird little Doritos challenge thing inside of TikTok. It flagged it as promotional content.

So he goes on to. talk about how he and others are trying to search for any references to his video. Yes, it is online, but he also notes a lot of details that I think are very fascinating. And I do think it’s a fun approach. He also acknowledges that some people think this whole thing is a scam on his part, that he’s being paid by Doritos to do some kind of viral stealth marketing. That’s a very interesting suggestion, but he seems genuine. I don’t know. And then he mentions how, well, there is Doritos. commercial that came out a year or two later that looks to clearly be a ripoff of his. And so is it a case of people remembering it and somehow when they see this his misremembering which one they actually saw? But in their responses, it doesn’t seem that way.

Winners of the next year’s contest was a commercial around flying pigs.

Can I have a Dorito?

Sure. When pigs fly. So I’m like, oh, maybe people are just. distorting their memory and clearly you know whoever that person was that made it probably saw mine in the contest because the only time that anybody saw my ad it was because it was in the contest like on the website so there was like thousands of submissions so i’m sure some people saw it but now i’m getting tens of thousands of comments across social media that are just saying like they know my ad very specifically they said it’s aired all over the world But I can’t find any record of this. We can’t find any record of this on the Internet. All that exists so far that I found is my original upload from 12 years ago.

So, yeah, again, there’s a lot more here. He plays a lot of the comments from people who claim to have seen it. It’s really interesting. Now, granted, again, considering how much of social media users are, in fact, AI bots, you know, maybe this is all just fake. And I’m not citing blame to him. Maybe these are just not really people. They’re just AI bots or something. But this is perhaps a very interesting, different situation than the classic Mandela effect, especially since there’s clearly some other differences here. Like he can document apparently that he did put this out 12 years ago. And then there was this other Doritos commercial that was very similar. Yeah, and then there’s some others. He just finds a lot of weird stuff. I highly recommend this 12 or 60 -minute video. He’s really asking for help, so check it out. I think that’s all worth your time. Okay, I’m going to call it, but yeah, check out our website, anomalyarchives .org or patreon .com slash anomalyarchives. Keep an ear out, an eye out for… our upcoming Anomaly Academy lecture for this month, that’s going to be March 21st, featuring Zilia Edgar talking about, well, you’ll see, it’s very interesting stuff, her focus on interesting anomalous encounters. Well, that’s going to do it for us today, folks. Keep your eyes on the skies and on the waters and in your mind, because you just never know what kind of weirdness is going to happen. Cheers.
