The Anomaly Network The Anomaly Network
Kyle Clouthier, a software developer in Petawawa, Ontario, Canada, has built what he calls The Anomaly Network, a public record of first-hand accounts of things people could not explain. The Network was first seeded with 43,684 accounts from the National UFO Reporting Center and the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization but has now grown to include the GEIPAN case files of the French space agency, the registers of the Italian Air Force, and other sources. The custom built engine underneath the site, Neruva, finds other accounts describing the same thing and states exactly why it connected them. “The site never says what an experience was,” says Clouthier. “It says who else described it, and why those accounts were put together.” Kyle goes on: “The live layer shows what is being reported and talked about right now, checked against the ordinary sky first: Starlink trains, meteor showers, the moon phase. And every UTC night is written down permanently one page per night, so the next flap leaves a dated record instead of a memory of one. Two measurements behind it, in case they matter: given the data unlabelled, the engine reconstructed nine of ten famous mass sightings, and every cluster carries a wording-independence score, because twenty-five copies of one news story are not twenty-five witnesses.” Definitely worth checking out.
